In the depths of Dagobah

Abbey Ainsley

Weird mess of Jedi
Location: Dagobah - Unknown Swamp
Objective: Repair the ship!

Bits and pieces of what used to be an overly repaired B-wing slowly fell apart as a hand struggled to pull pieces off of the fuming ship. Liquids have already sunken into the cockpit, making for a rather disgusting feeling, cold and bitter to the touch. A red haired girl rapidly pulled herself out, frantically searching for a way onto land. She hesitated, then jumped into the water, swimming as quickly as she possibly could with frantic splashes to the moist dirt.

As she dripped goo and water from her once neat and beautiful piloting suit, she looked back at her screaming, flailing astro-unit. Her small under lip very gently quivered, but she quickly dismissed the feeling and looked forward, undoing the zipper of her suit to pull it down before the strange heat of the planet got her hot and uncomfortable.

With a wet undershirt and her pilot suit pulled down halfway and wrapped about her waist, the short girl stumbled forward with wide scared eyes. This was not a safe place, she could already tell, and she couldn't hear anything more than the screams of animals fighting or struggling to find a mate in the distance.

Dagobah was home to some of the most fearsome predators to ever poltergeist the galaxy were watching the new comer thrash and splash; hoping that she would attract a more meaningful meal than she offered. But of all the monsters that held the mantle of fear, none did so better than the Sith necromancer that stood perched upon a limb of an aging tree. She didn't look at the girl as nourishment, but the bait she was thoroughly playing out, for it had been days since she ate; and whatever creature that came for her would in turn be claimed by the Dagobah Sith.
"Splash harder.....harder.....deeper....make your thrusts of wanting to survive to be more believable," she whispered to the voices in her head.
The Sinister Five she had grown to call the Sith entities that inhabited her mind all laughed and cheered in unison.
"Shush," she told them when she saw the ripples in the water on the horizon began to take a form she knew all to well.
"Tonight my glorious fiends.....we'll be eating Dragonsnake flesh if this girl holds her course. What? Why? That's not our job....er.....do you all agree? Fine!"
It had been some time since she had a proper Apprentice, and if the voices thought this fresh skinbag was worthy of their combined time, then who was she to argue with such an assessment. Dropping from her perch, her lightsaber in hand, landed a few feet from the bait; igniting her bone saber at once.
"Does the worm do more than what is asked of it," she asked the soaked girl before adding, "Of course not! Now stand aside, bait, and watch as I save your life....probably not for the first time.....but we are hungry."
The black and purple blade began to hiss and sizzle, eager to cut into flesh and smile as it's owner was joyous of putting fresh meat on a spit. There was only one obstacle in the way, the girl.
"Kindly step to your right," she said to the girl seconds before the Dragonsnake emerged; prompting the Sith Lady into action.

Strange bits and pieces of information flooding about in a wild craze of confusion hit the young crashed pilot as voices came flooding about in her head. She followed the instructions as she could, only hoping for the best of these helping orders. A pulsing fear ran through her mind, just barely giving her that bit more she needed to make the orders more believing.

At the sound of a drop from the above, the girl froze until the new order came to her. She moved to the side, eyes piercing at the blade that hummed in front of her. She wasn't sure just what was going to happen, but for the sake of her own, she kept quiet and fearful. The feeling placed deep in her heart, and showing in her eyes.

She didn't want to die, not today.
