Dominion In the Name of Progress | EE Dominion of Trenwyth & Varunda IX

qnN9ecJ.png

dRUm20K.png

The old wounds of Trenwyth, once thought scabbed over and healed, have festered once more. First settled by the Nagai, then conquered by the Tof, only for the planet to then be subjected to a massive colonization campaign by the First Order, which saw the arrival of a large human population, secluded in their well-off, luxurious communities, Trenwyth has long suffered from interspecies tensions simmering just beneath the surface of civility.

Now, with the fall of the First Order causing the planet’s tourism industry to collapse and plunging the world into a severe economic crisis, the old tensions have finally boiled over and exploded into a firestorm of violence.

It began when the organization known as the Nagai Liberation Front staged a series of terrorist attacks against the sparsely populated planet’s governmental facilities, which prompted the remnants of the local government to respond with brutal reprisals against the Nagai population, further swelling the ranks of the NLF as angry Nagai sought vengeance against their oppressors, beginning a campaign of terror against the Tof and human populations.

Although initially cooperative with the First Order remnant on the planet, the Tofs nationalist sentiments eventually led to a split from the planetary government when the Tof Unification Movement proclaimed its intentions to reunite the planet with the Tof Kingdom which once conquered it and enslave the non-Tof population of the planet.

Meanwhile, the human population, stoked by supremacist propaganda pushed by the First Order remnant, rallied behind the forces of Warlord Zod, the former moff of the planet, now turned local despot, launching a genocidal campaign against the other species.

As Trenwyth descended into utter anarchy, the planet attracted the attention of the Eternal Empire, which was rapidly expanding its control over the Unknown Regions. Seeking to secure the newly discovered hyperlane which led to the Outer Rim, the Eternal Empire deployed an invasion force on the planet of Trenwyth, bringing the civil war to an abrupt end as the rising power seeks to establish control over the planet by means of a military occupation.

Meanwhile, on the nearby planet of Varunda IX, a world which formally agreed to join the Eternal Empire after being threatened with invasion, but who’s pacifistic society is secretly opposed to the Empire’s brutal regime and militaristic policies, has covertly reached out to the Eclipse Rebellion, promising them support, finally gaining the rebels a significant foothold in Imperial territory.

As the Empire is otherwise preoccupied with the troubles on Trenwyth, this gives the rebels a chance to regroup and plan their next move, debating how to make use of the information they obtained after the Battle of G’rho.

dRUm20K.png

Objectives:

7TD071h.png
The Eternal Empire has swiftly occupied the planet of Trenwyth, following a short, but brutal battle against the three local factions fighting for control of the world. Despite finally bringing peace to the wartorn world by establishing control of the capital, the Empire’s work is not yet done, as the Nagai Liberation Front, the Tof Unification Movement and the human forces under Warlord Zod are still very much active on the planet, even if they have currently retreated from its main population center and large swathes of territory remain under their control.

Imperial forces must now consolidate their hold over the planet by neutralizing the last holdouts of the three warring groups on the outskirts of the capital, while beginning to rebuild the society of Trenwyth in its own image. No longer will inter-species violence be tolerated on the planet, only loyalty and devotion to the Imperial state. And in order to drive the point across, the Empire has rounded up some of the more prominent leaders on the planet, intending to make a public spectacle out of their trial and execution.

5jY823V.png
With the promise of support from the local government of Varunda IX, the rebels finally have a significant foothold in Imperial territory. Sheltered by the planet’s pacifist population, the rebels finally have a chance to rest and recuperate after the Battle of G’rho.

This is an opportunity for the rebel leaders to finally analyze the information they obtained from the databanks on G’rho, in order to figure out how to best use it against the Empire. While the leaders discuss this information and most of the rebels take their time to relax and enjoy the planet’s warm weather, the Jedi of the Hidden Enclave endeavor to begin training some of their new recruits.

rzu4OSQ.png
In order to finally restore order to the world of Trenwyth, the three warring factions that have been fighting for control over the planet, must be destroyed. Of this, the Eternal Empire is well aware of, however the leaders of these organizations have retreated from the capital city, disappearing into the hills, complicating the Empire’s plans.

However, there is one age-old solution to this problem: cut off the head of the snake. Once the leaders of these organizations are eliminated, the three warring factions should dissolve, allowing the Empire to secure its grip over the planet. As the Empire’s forces consolidate their hold over the planet, bounty hunters, Blackwatch agents and members of the mysterious and dreaded Unit 404 now search for the leaders of the Nagai Liberation Front, the Tof Unification Movement and the First Order remnants under Warlord Zod with a very simple mission: assassination.

This time, as usual, she arrived to the planet with the Emperor, but now she did not take part in Imperial military operations, Kainan Wolfe Kainan Wolfe entrusted her with a private task. The man was quite vague this time, Ingrid had to get something from somewhere, she just got coordinates and that the Force would lead her there. Following these instructions, she came to a completely barren and misty swamp. She has no idea why the Emperor sent her here. There was absolutely nothing.

This place was most like her current life, bleak, barren and extinct. For the past few weeks she had been working to find a way to remove Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter 's anger from herself, she felt she was doing well. Though she was there beside that her private life was in ruins as well. With Tubrok they hadn't seen each other in months – since the wedding – her husband hadn't been looking for her in weeks, she hadn't reached him either. And she could not travel to Christophsis to put her marriage in order. And on the other side was AMCO AMCO , with whom Ingrid seemed to be getting closer and closer.

Ingrid was not interested in the sith’s rank or position within the TSE, in her life Adrian was perhaps the first person she did not have to relate to for work. And she wanted to keep her privacy as far away from work as possible, she no longer wants to make such a big mistake as she did ages ago. Even if the end result was pleasant. And then she didn't even talk about involuntarily attacking her Emperor with a Force scream.

She didn't really understand why she was still alive, why Tacitus didn't kill her when she attacked him accidentally? Countless questions swirled in her head and soul, fortunately now she has gone to stifle it all and stay calm. If nothing else, at least that was something. She sighed and shook her head, she finally reached out to the Force and tried to find out what it was for which the Emperor sent her here.

She was there only for the data, that is what she said for the superior ranking officers when the department she now worked showed themselves at the location. Explaining why a bunch of scientists and droids taking order from a ex-prisoner were sniffing around things wasn’t something very easy to explain. Especially to those people, she met the Sith before and always thought they had a stun baton up their behinds, but the Eternals? They had ice for blood in their veins, lived like monks and worked like droids, it was to a point she had to wonder if she truly wanted to make monsters or if the monsters were already there.

‘They aren’t so bad. They are easy to trick for things.’, like on the first week when she already tricked her superior to accidentally telling her where to find ‘dragon’ eggs for her experiments. She was already planning on robbing them to start her experimentation's but first she needed to earn their trust or something that seemed like trust, like cordiality or whatever they preferred. Her superior wasn’t there and she only brought her own droids to make sure things worked as she wanted.

“All right… Nagai or Tofs… that is a difficult decision, very difficult. What do I do? What should I do? I could use the Nagai to produce a new breed of beautiful assassins, make them have knives instead of fingers perhaps? Or a bone mutagen to make their fingers turn to knives! But the tofs…”, she almost could feel a shiver going up her spine, “Oh, they are big and they are green. Their minds can be quite useful to make mindless slaves.”

Those were the worst parts on a job, deciding whether she would abandon a template opportunity or not. Her lekku were both swinging nervously from left to right, while her arms crossed beneath her cleavage, her fingers tapping on her own shoulders as she made a decision.

“Fine. Green it is.”, she turned slowly to the droids choosing one as a messenger. “Make sure to inform the rest of the laboratory friends to inform the soldiers that our department is requesting the dead nagai for research.”, the droid bowed and went on to do as she told him.

“Bring my dogs and send me the information on the Tofs.”, far away she could already hear the loud growls and barks of her two dogs and that made her smile.

The dropships swerved between the cliffs of the last mountain range, engines screaming and howling as they cut a path across the sky on their way towards the capital. These were not like the sleek, elegant shuttles utilized by the governments of the core, having all the gracefulness of a flying brick, sturdy and utilitarian, built exclusively for function, rather than looks.

Their hulls were weathered, paint scratched and abraded by the violent weather of the planet from which they came and they had no markings other than the Imperial triskellion which was common across all vehicles operated by the Eternal Empire's military forces. One would never guess that these ships were transporting the Emperor and his entourage, as devoid of luxury, comfort and anything resembling an aesthetic, as they were, yet these were the ships Tacitus used. They got the job done, afterall and the Eternal Empire was not a culture which put much stock in luxury and pointless comforts.

As they approached their destination, the military compound set up by the Empire in the planet's capital, they slowed down abruptly and landed in a staggered, conveyor belt-like fashion to unload their passengers, so that one dropship was always hovering above to provide air cover for the ones on the ground, even though here, in the heart of the military compound, this wasn't needed. The Empire always followed procedure.

"Where is that alchemist?" Tacitus' voice boomed as he marched into the laboratory, surrounded by his Wolfguards. His eyes soon found the Twi'lek he was looking for and he strode across the room. "We need some kind of assassin creature. Something that can sneak behind enemy lines undetected and track down a target."

Operation Green Prince (Unit 404)
City of Raytaf - Tof Unification Movement Occupied City
Trenwyth
It was the first operation with both Sasha and Fimrati. Both were exceptional operatives, each in their own way. Sasha, coming from the Wardens of the Shroud, much like Centiro. She was very strong with the Force and was highly trained. Still part of Black Sun, Fimrati was the innovator in a deadly martial art called Ziltus Jor, that combined speed, grace, and precision with the use of twin pistols, whether blaster or otherwise. Both of them understood the concepts of loyalty, discipline, discretion and “thinking outside the box”. What Centiro did not know was how they would all work together. While they drilled constantly together the last few weeks, this was live…there was no “do over” if things went bad.

The Tof Unification Movement was assessed by Unit 404 as the most volatile faction that needed to have its leader removed. While the First Order Remnant and the Nagai Liberation Front were both deadly adversaries, the Tof Unification Movement had something the other two did not—an unknown benefactor that was supplying them with the credits to purchase their seasoned mercenaries, high-tech armaments, and their expansive propaganda campaign. STRATCOM designated Xolli Ru as their target that would cause the other dominos to fall for the Tof Unification Movement, so this would be their quarry this night…

The trio moved through the night market, dressed in the local garb complete with robes, loose breeches, hoods and scarves. Their faces were covered and they moved through the market as interested customers, not a trio beelining to their objective. Finesse was needed in operations like this. Centiro, not only paying attention to the operation, but also to Sasha and Fimrati in their first real operation together.

The trio were getting closer to the gates to the Tof Unification Movement Headquarters. Time and patience had paid off—they knew Warlord Xolli Ru was going to be leaving the security of his fortress within the next couple of hours—and they would have to be ready when he did…

Moving through the crowd wasn't difficult. She may not have been doing the eyeing of items for sell as much Centiro was, but her focus and movements were not laser focused on the goal. Her weapons were concealed under the outwear they had donned, which was loose enough that they weren't easily noticed. If at all. Suffice to say, this was the second job she'd done with Centiro. And this go around was actually on the ground doing work. And she intended to do the best to her ability. Her eyes glanced at the building that had been designated as the headquarters of the target. She had a feeling that the work they were about to take part in would probe quite the interesting affair.

There was the matter of what kind of security the target was going to be taking with them. The press of the crowds that would be around them. The layout of the city as they engaged. Time for support, degree of that support... The only thing that really contributed itself to their mission, was the element of surprise they were acting under. The target didn't know they were coming, at least, not like this. They were probably expecting something like a full combat force pushing in to surround and trap them. Instead, now it's a small team that was going to change things.

Operation Green Prince (Unit 404)

Gloved hands momentarily caressed over the quant homemade items for sale and/or barter on a stall table in the market area as the Knights Warden made her way along with Centiro Centiro and the Twi'lek from Black Sun, Fimrati Vailyippin Fimrati Vailyippin , on their mission to cut the head off of the Tof Unification Movement...

That thought amused Sasha greatly and brought a sly smirk to the Dark Jedi's partially covered face by a headscarf worn atop her red mane of hair; pulled back into a folksy braid rather than her long flowing red-gold tresses. Oh, how she missed her sleek bodysuit that fit her fit and shapely body like a glove rather than the baggy material that was rough and itched. A minor discomfort that could be drawn upon to feed her rage smartly when the time came to act.

Like her counterparts from Unit 404, the Special Courier Service branch of the Eternal Empire, Sasha wore attire that made the operative blend into the local society. A woven poncho topped off her outfit, which hid from plain sight her lightsaber and favored DL-44 heavy blaster pistol along with a sheathed short-bladed vibroknife that easy could slit a throat or slide right in between the ribs to puncture a lung or pierce the heart of a target. Of course, the "Dark Angel" as she was affectionately nicknamed, had many personalized techniques to subdue a contracted hit... but alas, they would not be utilized this night.

Sapphire blues perused the area nonchalantly as Sasha stretched out with the Force ever so gaging if their approach was seemingly still unnoticed. She also kept a keen eye out in the crowd that they were not being followed. So far, so good as the trio slowly yet surely closed in on their mark.

Operation Green Prince (Unit 404)
City of Raytaf - Tof Unification Movement Occupied City
Trenwyth
Warlord Xolli Ru was slippery. Unit 404 did their research on the warlord and he had managed to wiggle his way out of many assassination attempts. They knew he had eyes everywhere. It seemed he always was a step ahead of his adversaries and he was always prepared when they struck...and then he would disappear. This was another reason that Unit 404 did not trust any other group in the Eternal Empire to take Warlord Xolli Ru down…confidentiality. In fact, Centiro had asked Darth Tacitus to take the misinformation route with this one—Darth Tacitus told embarked commanders that the Tof Unification Movement was an after thought and he would deal with them later. The Eternal Emperor knew Centiro’s gameplan for this quarry and obliged. After all, he was the one who wanted the leader dead…Unit 404 would see it through.

It was hard to find a routine that Warlord Xolli Ru would habitually sink into, but there was one that was predictable. The man had a voracious sexual appetite and was not satisfied with the same company each week. As such, he would leave the confines of his stronghold in an armed convoy at odd times each week. It was always at night and he did not travel far. He would simply go to the night market and have his men grab a pair of attractive females from the street and take them back to the stronghold. The people of Raytaf still had not caught on to his fetish, but it would be a matter of time before females simply avoided the night market altogether. But for now, there was still “prey” available to him. Unit 404 would take advantage of his appetite before it abated.

They had no air support, no back-up, and no “plan B”. But such were the kind of operations Unit 404 had to take in order to ensure they accomplished their missions. All the missions were dangerous—and that is why Centiro recruited the best. Both Sasha and Fimrati had been researched, spied upon, watched and studied for years. The vetting process to become a member of Unit 404 was like no other…

Reaching out, Centiro could sense the rage building within the dark force master, Vasha. He could sense the anxiousness from Fimrati. He watched as they both picked their way through the market. The Emissary made a mental note that he would work with both of them on masking the Force. While they were not hiding from force users this operation, they might be the next time…

All of those thoughts were pushed aside as the huge hydraulic system was activated up on the hill that would open the stronghold gates. Four vehicles in total were part of the small convoy. A hover tank led the small processional followed by a speeder with a heavy repeater mounted in the back complete with a gunner. The third hover vehicle was a long, luxury “APC” for a lack of a better word, which was where Xolli Ru should be located—but not guaranteed. Taking up the rear was a legit APC that would be full of his soldiers.

The plan for the trio was simple enough. Sasha was in the front ready to toss a satchel charge under the hover tank. Once that was done, she would sprint to the “APC bus”. Centiro was positioned to place another charge on the door to the “APC bus” that would allow access into the bus and he would ensure that access was given—Sasha would then enter the hole and kill the warlord while Centiro covered the entrance from the 2nd speeder. Fimrati was positioned where she would be ready when soldiers unloaded from the Rear APC. The Rear APC was armored more heavily than the tank in the front—so there was no blowing up the APC.

While there were some moving parts to this plan, it was simple enough that they could adapt on the fly. That was another criteria for entry into Unit 404—they had to be able to adapt.

None of the Unit 404 members were wearing communications gear—the Tof Unification Movement were quite advanced in intercepting any sort of signals that were not on their “approved list”. Centiro opted to not even risk it. He would reach out to them using the Force when it was time to act…and that time was coming soon.

At first she felt nothing, absolutely nothing. As if there was nothing out there, no civilized lives, no animals, just nothing. Ingrid under her meditation tried to expand her senses through the Force, maybe this time she will find something. Then she finally felt something through the Force after countless minutes. She still didn't know what she felt, but this something was a weak disturbance in the Force, something dark, something ancient. That was what she was looking for? Maybe yes, maybe not, but it seemed worth investigating. She opened her eyes and she headed for the inside of the swamp.

For most of her work, she is used to an urban environment but sometimes she had to work in different and extreme conditions. Compared to them this was an easy area, just wet and muggy. At least it was not hot. She had to travel for about half an hour in the dimly lit swampy environment, by now she had become muddy up to the neck, wet, dirty. But thanks to her military training, at least she was not tired. Ingrid was just starting to feel fussy. After this time maybe even she was surprised, when she began to hear the sound of waterfalls.

She immediately headed in that direction since it also coincided with the place of the previous confusion. After a few minutes, the image of the dim, misty swamp began to change. The swamp became somewhat flatter, less swampy, the plants thinned until at one point they ran out. Here Ingrid could see the source of the waterfall, as well as an ancient ruined temple. When she reaches out to the Force, she senses the strong Dark Side presence within the temple. Yes, definitely the temple is what she was looking for.
marta-leydy-marta-leydy-week09-cgma-800px.jpg

The question changed this time, what and why? Why did Tacitus send her here? What could he want? Ingrid didn’t know that yet, but there was really nothing she could do but investigate the place. She also wanted to know the answer, as always, for as an assassin she thought of enemies everywhere. She started cautiously towards the ancient temple spying on her surroundings with both eyes and Force.

Operation Green Prince (Unit 404)
City of Raytaf - Tof Unification Movement Occupied City

Bingo!

Suddenly, the large hydraulic gates to the Warlord's compound began to open, then a moment later a convoy of mechanized vehicles, the very ones Unit 404 had trained for, started to move out into the street which had market stalls on either side. A few ticks afterward and Centiro Centiro gave the mental order to execute Operation Green Prince.

Sasha reacted immediately. As the operative stepped out into the street from in between two stalls, she reached underneath her poncho and released the worn satchel from its over-the-body strap, then activated the explosive and tossed the highly-charged demolition bag underneath the passing lead hover tank with a quick flick of her wrist without looking back at her deed.

The Dark Jedi next sprinted past the second speeder determinedly to the APC bus that was third in line; one hand on her blaster pistol and the other ready to call the concealed lightsaber attached on her belt to action when and if need be. All the while anticipating the Emissary to blow the bus door so she could enter swiftly to take out their designated target and cover her while inside. Also, for Fimrati Vailyippin Fimrati Vailyippin to handle any of the troop deployment that would most likely be coming from the rear APC. They all had their part to play in this silencing of the lamb.

She was but ready to leave, going after the Tofs, killing all of them all and collecting their bodies so she could experiment and breed a new race of mindless thralls to serve those tedious imperials. The species she had prepared for this endeavor was ready, caged properly due the savageness those animals could unleash out of the blue, Voxyn, the pride and joy of Vong technology, she got them for a small price from a Hutt somewhere and trained them properly to serve and become more obedient and easier to command. Before that they only obeyed that horrible vong language those things spoke, she saw a few of them and would love to get her nails around a few, they were too easy to toy around and create something… fabulous.

And now before she was out to do her business and pay off her ‘debt’, Sanguine found herself surprised wheninside her lodgings where the rest of her department was settled once again she met that very odd looking male with the pale hair. Someone told her that she was addressing the Eternal Emperor, leader of the Eternal Empire and her current boss.

“Oh hello there.”, she said out loud with a small cunning smile on the left end of her red lips. “Now is that the right way to approach someone when they are working?”, she muttered walking around the laboratory and she noticed that whenever she walked, she could always sense someone looking down her waist. “I was way ahead of you, but I must say calling it a ‘assassin’ creature can be quite offensive. They do have feelings, you know? At least some of them before I work on them.”, she spoke the last words fast as lightning.

“But I do have to agree that I might have the perfect creature for this kind of job. And this, right here, is a voxyn.”, she raised her hand showing the creature caged, ugly as hell itself and with as many sharp teeth that someone could count. “I have six of those to deploy, they are very expensive on the proper markets, very hard to breed and worse to control." The very existence of those creatures was something very sad, something worth of sad poem made somewhere, but she wasn't going to make it, she wanted to open them up, study them, close them up and clone them, or at least fetch their genetic template to breed something even bigger. "They are nearly extinct, the poor things, the Vong used them to hunt Jedis and other sort of people, quite the blessing wouldn’t you say? This marvelous bad boy is now at the imperial pleasure, just don’t kill it yet, I’m this close to finding a way to clone this thing.”

She had to admit her errors, Vong technology was something else entirely, very difficult to find and even more so to understand it. Their shapers were brilliant creatures with a lot of knowledge to share, knowledge that she would love to possess if only she could find a bunch of them to capture.

The Firebird glided through the planet's atmosphere, descending from the clouds at a shallow, gentle angle, engines throttled down to a fraction of what they were truly capable of. It was a stark contrast to the mad run out of G'rho, Imperial starfighters nipping at their tail. Well, there was also that business with the incendiaries. For all their preaching about righteousness, the rebels had proven just as willing to resort to cruel weapons and tactics, as the Empire.

Keying in the autopilot and letting the ship glide down by itself, Will sighed. He really, really needed a break. From... everything. He would have to be careful around the rebels, or his cover might be blown. The problem was, he knew he would have a few choice words to say about what happened on G'rho. Oh, Loreena would definitely hear from him about that whole business.

Reaching its destination, the ship came to a halt with a gentle jolt as its landing gear pressed down into the warm sand. With a dejected look on his face, the smuggler plodded down the corridor towards the cargo ramp, a knot in his stomach as his thoughts dwelled on the battle, on that sickening glee in Loreena's voice as she outlined her plan to turn that corridor into a literal furnace, so giddy with excitement at the prospect of the cruel trap she had just hatched.

Those were good men, good soldiers, doing their duty to their nation. They didn't deserve to die like that. They didn't deserve to burn.

For all their preaching about the sanctity of life, all that propaganda about how their cause was just, when it came down to what really mattered, to proving what they stood for with actions instead of mere words... At the end of the day, they were no different from the Hand of Light, just as eager and willing to commit atrocities when it suited their goals, just as willing to believe cruelty was justified when they were the ones doing it. True, the Empire's hands were stained with blood as well. The Empire had inflicted its fair share of horrors. But at least the Empire owned up to its atrocities. At least the Imperials didn't enjoy it.

Well, in that case...

As the ramp lowered, Will drew in a deep breath and grit his teeth, centering himself, clearing his mind of the outrage he felt, finding that place of calm clarity deep within his soul, like they taught him at the Wardens' Stronghold, walking down the ramp and onto the soft sand as if nothing had happened, as if he didn't have a care in the world, as if he were nothing more than a cocky, loudmouthed smuggler that the rebels knew him to be and not the Imperial spy that he truly was. Any sympathy he felt for them was burned away, along with those soldiers back on G'rho.

All Loreena did was prove that the Empire was right.

He ignored the Twi'lek's little quip about approaching people when working. She had her issues. Mental ones. Of that, he was well aware of. Fortunately for her, she was useful, so the Emperor tolerated her little quirks, as long as she got the job done. "Voxyn? Impressive," he responded, curious where she obtained them from. Likely the Black Sun. Well, he would have to talk to a certain Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt about procuring more of the creatures. They would prove very useful in his plans for the near future.

"Six of them should be more than enough if what they say about these creatures' capabilities is true," he said. Procuring more would be difficult, as the Voxyn were notoriously difficult to breed, train and control. But the Empire's resources were vast. Its capabilities nearly limitless. Well, whatever project the Twi'lek had been working on, would be put on the backburner for now. Her mention of cloning the Voxyn was far too promising an idea to pass up.

"What resources do you need in order to successfully develop Voxyn cloning technology?" he asked her, his tone cold and businesslike. "Manpower, equipment, funding. I want you to write up a report on initial cost estimates and I want you to also include a rough estimate of how long it will take," the Sith Lord commanded.

Inside his mind, the wheels were already turning. He had plans, major ones, for the near future. And Vong tech might just give the Empire the edge it needed to succeed.

Operation Green Prince (Unit 404)
City of Raytaf - Tof Unification Movement Occupied City
Trenwyth
The gates parted and the vehicles thundered out as they had done a hundred times. It was the one routine that Unit 404 could pick out and act on—but it would not be easy. Just as the lead hover tank got to the point they had designated as their “kill box”, he gave Fimrati and Sasha the mental command to “go”.

It was a flurry of activity as Sasha did her part admirably, sliding the satchel charge under the tank. As she did, the middle APC was right beside Centiro. He wheeled from the stall and pulled the magnetic satchel charge from his robes and wraps, placing it directly on the door. The formula for the detonite concoction was stolen from the Eternal Empire explosive ordinance R & D. The explosive was a shaped, breaching charge that would blow straight inward. Once the placed the charge, he spun around away from the door and covered his ears. A double explosion, thundered across the market, lighting up the night sky. First, Sasha’s satchel charge detonated right under the hover tank. Those tanks were thin in the armor at the underbelly, but the explosive was powerful enough to tear through the thickest of armors anyway—Unit 404 took no chances…they would get only one shot at this. The hover tank lifted off the ground some two meters in a ball of twisted metal and fire. The charge was designed to explode upwards, not outwards—there was simply no reason to kill citizens in the market. A few were thrown off their feet and a couple took some small shrapnel, but those kind of injuries were just part of it all.

The door to the APC was much thicker than anticipated. Wheeling back around to the door, Centiro saw that as the smoke cleared, the door was still hanging on. Completing their entire theater of the mind and misdirection, Centiro’s hand slipped to a lightsaber and ignited the weapon. A greenish light flooded the area. With a quick downward stroke, the door lopped off from the last hinge that was holding it, clearing the way for Sasha. Centiro planned for his lightsaber and Sashas to be displayed in their brilliant violet and a brilliant green--he wanted this operation to appear to be the work of Jedi. Misdirection at every turn...

It was a good thing Centiro hurried--Vasha moved like a blur and was already preparing to enter the APC. Risking a glance to the rear, the APC loading ramp and side door were opening. Centiro sure hoped Fimrati had not gone to sleep on them, or it could get ugly fast. Turning his attention to the speeder in position two, one of the thugs was already recovering from the twin explosions to the front and back of them. Centiro drew a heavy blaster pistol from his hip and snapped a pair of shots off into the man mounting the E-web.

Unit 404 knew this operation, when they rehearsed it, should be over in less than a minute. But those seconds leading up to that were deadly, fast, and unpredictable…

She had to wait longer then the other two. She lacked shape charges for this task, but she brought a different tool. As the ramp began to descend, she walked over, starting off with the look of confused interest like many others at what was going on, her arm's movements hidden under her own attire. So it hid her grabbing both pistols, drawing them, and once the ramp dropped and the troopers inside began to step out, she lifted both, revealing them to all present, even if the first pair of troops didn't notice, focused as they were on what happened ahead of their APC. So the crack of both weapons echoing in the market was soon heard, as both men dropped like sacks of wheat, and the next pair stunned for a moment. Long enough for Fimrati to shoot them as well. While the rest tried to untangle the corpses of their buddies, she pulled out a concussion grenade, and threw it into the APC, and stood to teh side of the hatch.

The detonation was strengthened inside the confined vehicle, knocking a few civilians who hadn't yet gotten out of hte way onto the ground, even as the troops inside experienced the full blast, amplified twice over by the only one way out of the space. Their internals had been rendered useless as the shockwave ripped through them. Not wasting a moment, Fimrati stepped into the APC now, putting one round into each head, to be certain they weren't going to get back up. Before waiting for hte driver to investigate what was going on.

As she reached the edge of the temple, its entrance, she felt a Dark Side call, a presence from the temple. It was all a pretty uncomfortable feeling, but there wasn’t much she could do about it, Ingrid knew she had to go in there and investigate the place. All her instincts roared to run and flee, Ingrid knew she should listen to them, but the command was the command, and she never thought for a moment that the Emperor wanted to kill her. She takes a deep breath and forward to move in.

The first step was easier than she thought, the next as well, and the after too. She still felt the disturbance, but Ingrid tried to not care with it. The ancient ruin looked rather ruined, with stale, dry air. She improved her vision with the help of Force, for there were only dim conditions inside. So the woman needed all this, thanks to this she saw better now. But in the end she didn’t need this.

For the lights soon turned on very faintly, but it was perfect to be seen. The ruins now looked much more like the ancient pyramid seen on Bursoll, where it was the creature that caused the Melding plague. Ingrid didn’t like this, she tried to reach the Force again, to send a message to her Emperor, but she can’t do this. That’s why Kainan Wolfe Kainan Wolfe sent she here? To find something about the Plague or that kind what caused that? She still doesn’t know that.

The wall suddenly closed behind her and she was trapped. The ground collapsed and fell meters before she arrived at a larger hall. The place was full of skulls, ancient signs, but they did not appear to be Sith. The Force was almost barely present down here, as if disturbed by something, but she still felt the presence, something that was very ancient and powerful. Now she felt its hunger, its awakening, which happened when she arrived in the immediate vicinity of the temple.

She woke it up whatever was it, and that was not the only thing that awoke. Scherezade's anger also awoke with elemental force in her, almost tearing Ingrid's soul. Now she knew that was the reason she was here. But did the Emperor also count on the entity? She endured the torture without a scream, but it was worse, much-much worse. She fell painfully to the ground again, but at least this time she could not hurt her emperor. In the end she even saw the entity as it approached, hovering towards her.

Taozi had been too preoccupied with helping her adopted son adjust to Mandalorian life, and training him to work in the hospital, to help the rebels at G'rho, and it was a luxury the Alor felt guilty about. However, when the government of Varunda IX contacted her to bring the rebels on their planet aid, she immediately scrambled to gather as many supplies on the Fuyuan as she could. She left the rest of her fleet in SJO space, to follow their usual patrol, and pushed her flagship to it's limits.

As the ship exited hyperspace above Varunda IX, Taozi looked back at Sterling and Aurelion as the ship began to enter orbit.

"These refugees are to kept at the utmost secret, as they're fleeing from political crisis. Do not ask them any questions about who they are or where they came from, only if they require medical assistance."

There was no real emotion to Taozi's voice, or on her face, as she spoke to her student and her son, only a sense of urgency. As the ship touched down, Clan Tal began to leave the ship to hand out medical supplies and treat any injuries to the gathered rebels.

When Taozi exited the ship, she kept an eye out for eny who would require her Force Healing abilities.

Objective: Learn and observe
Physical alterations: Underneath mask. Height +2 inches to 5'5"

Equipment:
shavaras-robes
shavaras-kestralis-ring
vuns-kaliek
sar-vuns-mask

Shavara was still getting used to the way things were. As a member of the Eclipse Rebels, but simultaneously a Vo Ni who was officially on a sort of studying mission, she had many duties to keep up. Student of both science and the one teaching her alchemy, though it was only a holocron. The one who's name she was taking now, Sar Vun. Yet again she had taken precautions, physically shifting her body to an alternative form to help disguise her true identify should anyone attempt to discover her. Then again, she was also wearing a mask that even disguised her presence in the force, and around the altered body, and her own personally designed outfit, were robes that were loose and as a result even further appeared to hide the person beneath. Repeated layers of disguises.

This might seem a bit paranoid, but, who would blame her? On a world that was not her own with people who her own parents and species deemed as little more than intelligent animals worth only what they had to provide to the Vran'Ti and little else. She was, quite naturally, not at ease. She was here primarily to learn, there was presumably time for practice. She hoped that these Jedi she heard were here, might be able to have something to teach her. Even if it was only methods she might learn from her own teachers, it was worth a shot to give them a chance. And then she may learn more about them in the process.

However, should her skills in biology or alchemy be required, she had them to offer. While she was not the real Sar Vun, she had learned much from him already and her progression was coming along nicely. She had much left to learn, and perhaps, never would learn all there was. Or all he had to give. But she would do her utmost anyway.

The movement was also painful, but she tried to avoid encountering the entity. She failed. As the entity "passed" through her, Ingrid felt cold. However, this feeling did not go away and she could suddenly feel that there were too many in her body. She even saw a purple light coming out of her eyes and then she was not in control of her actions. Until now, she had only heard and read stories like this. That is why she knew exactly that there could be no two of them, that is, three of them in her body.

Hoped that the great willpower and stubbornness inherited from her parents would be to her advantage, just like her mental training what she received from her master. She tried not to panic, no matter how scary the situation was for her. She felt the other very strong, far above her own strength. At first she didn’t have much of an idea of how she could take up the fight openly with this entity. In a matter of moments she realized she would go nowhere with an open fight. She has to use what she are really good at.

Infiltration and assassination, there is no other way. If she does not succeed she will die and this entity will use her body until who knows. She wasn’t the kind to give up things. Ingrid will fight until she wins or just dies into experimentation. Suddenly she felt something very strange, the other did something to her. She tried to see the ghost shape of herself and the other as if they were facing each other. She was surprised when she succeeded. The other who tried to occupy her body but became angry because she was temporarily released from it clutches.

Ingrid stood in black, all that was visible indefinitely, but she was not alone. That entity in the same appearance also stood not far from her as in what she saw it in the hall. And there was still someone there, that is, something that embraced her cautiously. Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter 's angel. As the entity got closer the anger grew stronger, which also caused the creature to stop. Now here in this situation Ingrid felt that anger was not part of her, she saw perfectly how she could separate from herself with help of the Force. It was such a simple and primitive solution that she didn’t even understand how she hadn’t seen it all so far.

All she had to do was figure out what the other's weaknesses were and persevere until she found them…
