Sebastian sneaked around the back of a warehouse on Ord Mantell, stopping at the corner to give himself room to peer around. A dusty plain sprawled ahead, speared with the roofs of a nearby town, where the cries of local gangsters followed Sebastian in their pursuit. They appeared in the distance, four of them, and tracked him to the front of the warehouse, which much to his luck, was locked fast. Planting his back against the wall, he ducked out of sight and held a finger to his lips."Sh!" Sebastian hushed himself quiet, then darted towards a ladder. From behind the corner of the warehouse, the gangsters argued among themselves, each giving their view as to where Sebastian had went, which was all very funny to the code breaker as he climbed up the ladder.
A breeze blew threw the plains, sweeping up the hair on the back of Sebastian's head with a warm caress. Gripping the rusty railings, he climbed to the top of the warehouse and pulled himself onto the roof, where he had a clear view of the horizon. He brushed the dust off his britches, which he wore with a bomber jacket and brown boots, the walked to the other side of the roof. A good distance away, the four gangsters who had chased him there pointed.
"Get back here you little bastard!" One of the men yelled, although he sounded very far away.
Sebastian did not suppose that they could hear him if he yelled back, so he just stuck up his middle finger, his face devoid of any notable expression as he did so. When the men yelled back, he showed them his tongue and spun around, then ran over to the manhole on top of the roof. Upon finding that it was locked with a code, Sebastian rubbed his hands and grabbed his scramble key from one of his bracers, then slid it into the slot.
The key ran through the numbers, rearranging them into code Sebastian could unlock. Entering a quick operation into the keypad, he related the numbers to the congruent of their output value, which produced the access code. After keying it in, the console beeped and released the door to the manhole with a hiss. As he climbed in, Sebastian waved to the gangsters, baring a smile of crooked teeth as he disappeared from their view.
Their loud curses disappeared as Sebastian scaled the ladder below, letting the sunlight pour in from the hole. Once down the ladder, he closed the door and scrambled the access code again, to make sure that the gangsters could not slice the console. The sunlight disappeared, leaving behind the shadow of the dusty warehouse inside, the steel walls cramping in the heat like a vice. Wiping a layer of sweat from beneath his hair, Sebastian jumped off the ladder, on what turned out to be a starship.
Beneath the starship, was somebody working on it.
Sebastian knelt down, using his hands to keep his balance as he climbed down one of the wings on the ship. The woman beneath it had not seemed to notice him yet, but he assumed it was her warehouse that the gangsters were planning to raid. As Bas tried to climb down the wing of the ship, he stumbled, tripping on a lever which was pointing upwards. Freezing in his stance, he recoiled immediately and looked away when the woman spotted him.
"Uh-oh!" He cried and scurried down the wing, then jumped onto the ground. From across the warehouse, another woman approached and she saw him as well.
"Don't worry, I scrambled the access code to the door on the roof, so they can't get in." Sebastian said matter-of-factly, as though he had not just trespassed on somebody else's property. Still, he meant well and stored within his wrist device was the cipher containing the base where the gang where meeting to plan to the raid. Standing up straight, he brushed himself down and took off his jacket, as it was quite hot inside the warehouse. As the two woman approached, Sebastian backed away, progressively doubting just how welcome he was there.
"Heh." Was all Sebastian could manage. Smiling slightly, he scratched his hair and recoiled into the wing of the ship, the cipher on his comm device pressing his urge to crack it.
