The Forgotten One
Coric stood at the edge of the runway just between the hangar and the factory. His arms crossed in front of him as he watched the factory doors groan open. The Dark Jedi looked up at the head of the corvette being rolled outside, the ship almost finished, it was the first of a new limited production Corvette made by Dolos Defense Agency or DDA. As the ship rolled out onto the runway, several maintenance workers and engineers followed the ship going about their jobs and adding finishing touches. Despite not showing any expressions, Coric was more than satisfied by the state the new production model was in.
The main production supervisor walked out with the ship, past the men and up to the Dark Jedi master. "What do you think sir?" He asked glancing back at the ship and then back to Coric. "She looks good, her profile is low, something I was worried about when we drew up the original designs. How fast was her first flight through the atmosphere?" The supervisor pulled out datapad and glanced at his screen. "In Ession's lower atmosphere we were able to pump her up past a thousand kilometers an hour. There was no technical issues and the engines run very smoothly. The ride wet well even with the deflector shields off." Coric let a small smirk slip at the production supervisor's response.
"You were right though she will not be as combat worthy a we would like." The supervisor continued. Coric in response held up a hand for him to stop. "She was not built for pitched battles, she was built for reconnaissance and intelligence gathering working. Hence the shorter bulwark, I would have had them reinforced if I planned on winning a battle with them. The idea is to gather intelligence and jump back into hyperspace before hostile fighters can effectively engage." Coric said. "The ship looks inconspicuous enough when traveling with hyperspace traffic."
One of the engineers approached Coric and the supervisor. "She is ready for flight sir." Coric nodded in satisfaction. "In time, I plan for Zurvan here to able to slip through any defense installation unnoticed and unhindered." The Supervision nodded in approval. "Sir the Ession space authorities has asked for the model designation before launch."
"The Z-70A Fade. Send it through." Coric motioned then to the ship. "Shall we gentlemen?"
