Kantor had just run out of the building, his suit disheveled, parts of his clothing had tears that can be seen and a bit of blood dripping from his head. With an officer soon come out after him, running towards the vehicle they had used to get here, both ran to different direction but with the same task, find medical help. The officer will go to hospital to get paramedics, whilst Kantor try to find anyone who has medical items and anyone who can administer first aid in the area, since their location is quite far from the hospital, and they will need time to ready the necessary supplies. Kantor thought to himself as he ran looking for places that has people,
"We should have been more prepared..... I should have been more prepared....."
"I thought I could handle it and be more helpful when I first came here"

Rewinding to a few weeks ago, Kantor was tasked by the Council to Ord Mantell to aid the local law enforcement to deal with a crime syndicate who's been selling drugs that's not only addictive but highly dangerous to the person taking it, as it has taken at least 75% of its users. When he arrived at Ord Mantell, he introduced himself to the local law enforcement, where he then was given up to speed to the current situation. He starts of by asking around and getting to know people who knows about the syndicate. After a while, Kantor had managed to capture a few of the syndicate members so they can gain some intel on their operations. Kantor was the lead interrogator, as he questions the syndicate members one by one. It took quite the convincing and pressure to get them to spill important information, where Kantor was given information about where the drugs are being produced, which was located at the southeast district, inside a medium sized incinerator facility. They had to confirm the validity of the information given to them, so they stake the place out and try to get eyes inside the building. After a few days, they confirm the lab was indeed in that location, so Kantor and the local law enforcement began to ready their equipment for their raid on the syndicate's lab.

What should have been a quick and clean raid on a crime syndicate lair inside a building that used to be a hotel, became a chaotic and shocking one. Kantor and the local law enforcement had managed to take down the syndicate members and captured a few, but they put up a damaging fight, as syndicate members not only had the equipment and fire power but also the tenacity to not let the facility be taken. 20 people participated in the raid, 8 of them was killed, 7 was gravely injured, with Kantor and the rest had small injuries. But their problems didn't just end there, as Kantor and an officer cleared out the rest of the area and delved deeper into the lab, whilst the rest of the able-bodied officers tend to the wounded, they found a cell filled with people ranging from different ages. But they noticed these people were unresponsive, their complexion was greenish, and their body temperatures were very hot. Kantor found a note at a table near the cell, where he found out that they been testing the drugs on these people to "improve" and tinker the drugs they were making. They gave these people basic first aid, but they know it won't have much effect, and they need something to not only detoxify the toxins inside their body but also stabilize their health. Their comms was down due to the EMP blast during the start of the raid, so they had to go get help themselves.

Back to Kantor current situation, Kantor was knocking on buildings asking for help, but they either cannot help or unwilling to help, as now everyone knows that they raided a crime syndicate lab, and these people don't want to be a part of it. Even after he had gone through 4 buildings so far, he doesn't want to give up and believes there is someone who can and is willing to help him. He went on the next building, knocking on the door with a desperate voice,
"Please, is there anyone who can help"
"There are people who are wounded and poisoned, who needs aid"

I walk around with my usual cheerful air, swinging freely in the middle of all the chaos that is Ord Mantell, a perfect place for me. There are the wounded, drugs, violence, blood. It reminds me of old memories from wars I experienced in a more distant time.

I don't say anything, though. I walk along the walls of the buildings, dodging stray bullets and shots coming in my direction. Crime is rampant here, and I think to myself that I could clean up a little. Something catches my eye: a man seems to be looking for help. He has a strange look a funky afro, a shiny suit. What an odd character. Well, who am I to judge? I look like a child with skin made of gold. I'm not one to talk.

With quick steps, I approach him as I see him desperately knocking on a door. The people won't answer, this is war.
I stand behind him and make my presence known.

"Give up, the people here are too wrapped up in themselves to help you. Let me guess, you need a healer, right? What's your fight?"

I tilt my head to the side with a mischievous smile. If he looks at my belt, he'll see that I too carry two lightsabers. But as for figuring out where my loyalties lie... well, that might be a bit trickier

'Maybe i can help to heal you and win this place ? My name is Yusa and i'm a healer independant"

The longer it takes to find help, the less chances they'll have to save the people back at the incinerator facility, Kantor thought to himself. If only he had brought more medical supplies, if only he was a healer, those were the thoughts that was rushing in his head as he desperately continues to find help. He began to become angry, but not at the people who did not want to help, he understands their reasoning. He's angry at himself, thinking that maybe there was a way to prevent the casualties, even though he tries not to think that way. But then, he noticed someone approached him and began talking to him. He replied after hearing what he already knows that civilians tend to steer away from this kind of situation,

"I know that, but that doesn't mean they should ignore someone...."
"Wait..."

He paused before continuing after realizing she might give the aid, he so needed from what he had just heard from her,

"You're a healer you said?"
"I am a Jedi, I was a part of a raid team not far from here, I need someone to help us tend wounded officers and civilians who were kept prisoners and are heavily poisoned due to drugs being fed to them"

Kantor told her who he is and explained briefly the situation his in and why he needs someone who proficient in the medical department. During the conversation, he noticed and felt that she is no ordinary healer, but Kantor has not time for any further inquiries, if she is offering her aid, he can't say no. If she is willing to help, that is good enough, he'll pay her back whatever is asked from asking her aid, if it means he can save those people.

"If you're willing to help me tend to the people at the incinerator facility, I'll pay you whatever you asked or give you whatever you want, just as long as you help heal them"

He said in as a hint but noticeable tone of desperation can be heard, with his body language was also becoming a bit jittery, wanting to go back to the incinerator facility and bring her along if she agrees. He tries his best to not let his emotion cloud his mind and judgment, but due to his age and the situation he is in, his emotion still slips through but still manageable. They'll have to run as fast as they can to the location as time is of the essence, Kantor is already readying himself to lead her back to the facility.

Money? I would have accepted willingly, but I'm not here for that today. If there are injured people involved, I need to treat them; I can't leave them in this condition. I don't know how many there are or the extent of their injuries, but I may need to call on my medical ship if there are too many to treat all at once.

'I'll have to decline; I'm not here for the money. However, take me to them. Let's go treat them. Jedi. Patient don't need money, my cure is free for who asked. '

I start running with him. I'm quite fast despite my small stature, and he can also see that I have a lightsaber on my belt. I know how to fight as well.
I follow him to the area where all the injured are. We run through this chaotic environment, and I don't seem at all intimidated by the urgency of the situation. My gray aura doesn't falter; I'm used to working in risky environments.

I wonder what kind of mess they've gotten themselves into. They're attacking an enemy squad and then they're surprised things are going wrong? Well, that's the nature of war. My job is to get everyone back on their feet. What they do after that is up to them, it's their problem.

'So, explain the situation to me.'

I put on my white gloves, ready to get to work.

Kantor started to run ahead of Aileen, so he could lead the way to the incinerator facility. He was glad someone was willing to help him, but still worried if this person will be able to heal the wounded and thought to himself what if he's not enough. But Kantor shook his head and told himself in his mind not to think that way and he needs to believe. Kantor has had lesson on taking care of the injured back in the temple, even though as an assistant, that will still prove useful to aid Aileen with the number of wounded there are.

"We have a bunch of officers with serious injuries, they took a blast from a Rocket and few who survive was cut open or had parts of their body blown off from the impact"
"Then there's also civilians who had been used as test subject for drugs, and it seems they just had been given a new dose which seem to be killing them faster than the drugs being sold by these syndicate"
" they're being treated as much as we could back at the facility"

Kantor paused and closed his eyes for a few seconds longer before he continued his sentence,

"But without proper medical care, they will never make it out alive"

Soon they would reach where the officers and the civilians are, it was chaotic as before he had left to find help. The officer who are still healthy are frantically trying to keep these people alive with what they barely have, using whatever they could scrounge up in the lab whilst waiting for either Kantor or an ambulance to bring capable help. He went over to officers looking at the patients and asked the situation.

"We did as much as we could to stall and tend to them, but we won't be able to do this for long"
"Did you managed to find anyone who could help?"

One of the tending officers asked Kantor, to which he replied,

"I managed to find a healer to help us"

Kantor was about to discuss which patient is needed to be healed and taken care of first, but suddenly another officer scream asking for help, saying that one of the wounded officers is going into shock. He ran to officer who's going into shock whilst ushering Aileen to them. The person can be seen shaking intensely as blood pouring out more than before, the officer tries to hold the pressure they were putting on the leg that is ripped open. Kantor immediately help by holding down the person who's going into shock, so it won't make thing much worse than it already is.

We arrive together where the patients need to be cared for, my gaze sweeping the room naturally to estimate an initial diagnosis. Indeed, I'm going to have a lot of work to do.

My gaze then turns to my interlocutor who answers my previous question, explaining that these are officers and soldiers in need of care of all types, drugs, minor and major injuries. I nod during this explanation to indicate that I'm listening attentively, another person comes up to him and asks if he's found any help, and he replies that he has.

I take out my datapad and call my ship, telling it to park at precise coordinates, but alas, it's at the spaceport, so by the time it arrives I'll have already done one or two operations to help all those poor people in trouble.

I put my hand to my face when I see a man convulsing, and they all rush to help him. The situation is worse than I'd hoped. Following the group in my turn, I quickly reach into my satchel and pull out a small syringe.

With a precise gesture, I administer a sleeping pill to calm the convulsion, but it won't be enough, I have to find the cause to prevent it from happening again, it could be numerous, brain trauma, a blood clot, you name it, I need more information on this patient so I get out my Medscan and do a full body scan to determine what's wrong. The cause of the conversion may simply also be due to losing a lot of blood and having received a shock.

While I wait for the results to arrive on my data pad, I get out some bandages and Bacta and get busy disinfecting the area of his leg where it's pissing blood.

"A torn leg, I can fix that. I'll have to fix it right away."

I get out my toolkit, some disinfectant, once the patient is asleep I start operating after disinfecting everything so I can quietly operate on the patient's leg, with my forceps and scalpel, I look inside his leg to see the damage.

"Oh boy, this is going to be no picnic."

I pick up my drainage tube to increase visibility during the operation; it will serve to drain all the excess blood and give me a better view. Many of the ligatures are broken, so I grab my spool of wire, start clamping and restructuring all this point despite the urgency of the situation my hands aren't shaking at all at worst if I have to use force to heal the patient. I give him my datapad which, thanks to the medscan, can display the patient's condition.

"Can you monitor the patient's condition on my datapad please? Let me know if his vital signs are dropping..."

Kantor could only watch in a sense of awe, as Aileen began to help the officer who was going into shock, whilst he helps keeping him from moving around. Any sense of doubt regarding her abilities as a healer began to go away, watching her due her work smoothly, where not only she administers medical help but also diagnosing the officer proficiently.

"Yeah, I can help monitor his vitals"

Kantor took the datapad from Aileen to help monitor the officer whilst she performs the medical procedure on the officer leg. Kantor isn't used to see this kind of gore and wounds before, as his previous mission has never gotten this bad before. He has seen slashes, broken bones, or burns but never such a gruesome scenery. But Kantor knows he must take it all in, so he can learn and be less fazed from this kind of situation.

Whilst Kantor aid Aileen on taking care of this officer leg, the rest are also busying themselves with rest of the wounded. One officer would come next to Kantor to give him an update that they managed to patch up and stabilize 2 officers for the moment, they were the lucky ones from the group of wounded officers, as they had broken a few of their bones and also some concussion. He also told Kantor that they found a suitcase in the lab, filled with unlabeled vials, there no notes or whatsoever regarding what these vials are. He speculated and hoped these are antidote the crime syndicate for the drugs they made, so they could not only use it to help the drugged civilians but also make batches for them to help other people who had taken them. But all of these are speculations, and they can only get someone from the research teams to test these vials to confirm what they are.

Other than that, there's really not much of good news the officer can tell him, as there are still 4 more officers who are still wounded and currently being taken care of by the others. The drugged civilians are still unresponsive, and their health has not changed from when they are found at first, their temperature are cold and their complexion pale. They still have a long road ahead of them, but Kantor believe they can help them all and will not lose anyone else. They don't know when help would arrive since their communications are down, hopefully soon, so they can only do the best they can for these people until further help arrive, hopefully the sooner, the better.

During the operation, I notice an interesting detail: he tells me about a crate of potentially available antidotes. However, before administering anything, I need to discover the nature of this drug.

One thing at a time, I finish my operation first, keeping my wits about me because the slightest mistake could cost this officer dearly. With a quick, precise movement, my hand stitches the wound without shaking, and I do it with a certain speed.

With the bleeding completely stopped, I reach the end of the first operation. I take care of closing the patient's case, it should be fine, I put back a little pschitt with Bacta to prevent infection.

I straighten up with a sigh, keeping in mind that this is only the first patient I've treated today.

"In his case... He'll need rest and further treatment, he won't return to combat today unless you want him to die."

I prescribe a prescription and hand it to the Jedi accompanying me, after which I take off my gloves and run them under water a little to clean them in preparation for what's to come. I turn to him, I've just operated on a patient without an operating room, but the situation will improve, as my ship should be arriving soon. Inside, there's a bit more equipment, and the supply crates too, by extension.

"Will we have to distribute food as well?"

I scan the room for the next patient to be examined, retrieving my datapad as I go. I note that during the operation, the patient's signs have remained fairly constant. This official is out of the woods, but the others are not.
