[I will run this concurrently in one thread for ease, but assume we are meeting at different times. And remember, I am the Junior Senator of Eshan, not the Senior Senator, but winning my confidence cannot hurt you.]

After the events of Roche there was much to be done. So much so that she had not yet returned to Eshan, and was spending almost all of her time within the confines of the Senate building on Chazwa. The events surrounding what the Supreme Commander had done were still fresh in her mind and she was busy organizing both her own thoughts and the evidence that had been collected. There was much of it. So much so she'd begun a physical chart with string as a way of connecting the dots.

So it was that she was spending almost every waking minute within her office, making it easy to find her. With the upcoming elections, she had no doubt that the candidates would want to speak with both her and Senator Sannes.

FAith coming back from Roche had a great many burdens to carry, what she had seen through the walk, what she had heard through reports, and now how her family was becoming more split than before. She had heard that one of the newest and youngest of senators was spending a lot of time in her office.

Faith remembering very much what it was like to be new decided to see if the rumor was true and if so if she could be of some help to [member="Janira Fenni"] .

The very air of the offices of the Senators was heavy with tension, sadness, and the unknown. Faith made her way down the hall one of the Aldera Royal Guards with her till she came to the Senators Office entry, knocking slowly on the door and pushing it gently, "Hello, anyone here?"

Janira was still pouring over the data on her string map when the senator came knocking. Sannes wasn't in at the moment, though that was subject to change, from what she knew of her co-senator. It was Javin that greated the newcomer, sticking his head out the door when he heard someone speak. His eyes perked up a bit at seeing her.

"Senator, please come in. Senator Fenni is in her office." He stuck his head back in to tell Janira who was there. The Echani woman just nodded, continuing to study as she waited for the Senator from Alderaan to step in.

[Jack Sparrow]

Jack saw the back of Senator Balor-Organa moving through the doorway of Janira Fenni's office as he entered the waiting area. Rather than follow behind, he chose to wait until the senator from Alderaan was finished with her meeting before beginning his own.

"Something while you wait, Senator?" asked a blond-haired secretary wearing too much makeup.

"Ah. Um. Yes, please. I should like...a cup of black tea, no sugar, no milk, hot. And...eh...have you got any of those..." he wiggled his fingers in the air uncertainly, "curvy things. Tan."

"Frittes?"

"No."

"Croissants?"

"No, no."

"Boomerangs?"

"No...wait. Have you got any boomerangs?"

"No."

"Ah. Well then. Tea and some sort of muffin or pastry. Tell you what, love. If it's got flour and fruit involved, bring me one on a plate, eh?"

[Faith Organa]

Faith went in, "Thank you" It was a pleasant office, she was still learning about Echani they were an interesting people. It had always fascinated her the different lives everyone led.

Faith had heard the shuffle of feet and turned, "Well [member="Jack Sparrow"] hello, My mother sends her regards" Jack had attempted to date her mother at one time.

"Jack, would you like to come in as well?" Faith moved towards the entrance to the next office, "I'm sure we can both talk to the Senator at the same time"

Jack looked to [member="Faith Balor-Organa"], then down the hall where the secretary had gone. "I have a muffin and some tea coming, but I suppose she can find me." He rose from his seat. "Yes, let's do."

As he followed Faith, he tried to remember her mother, but drew a blank. "Your mother. Tall, dusky woman? Collects pinky rings? Penchant for Boga Minawk and strawberry shakes?"

Janira would have preferred one at a time, but leave it to politicians to show up together. Or nearly together. She watched them both casually as they conversed, but cleared her throat and her brow furrowed. This idle chat was best kept out of her office.

"You two can discuss pleasantries at a later time. I need to know which one of you I can trust to work on fixing the Republic, not which of you knows each other's parents."

A hand waved for them to sit as she did the same.

"Faith first, and then you, Jack. What are your views on the current status of the Republic."

[Faith Organa]

The junior Senator certain did come across with a fierce mentality, nothing like the senior Senator who was softer spoken. Faith smoothed her clothing before sitting down, she looked over at [member="Jack Sparrow"].

"We need to restructure, and place safeguards within each level of government to prevent another attempt at a take over. Key leaders of the past have created an illusion that everything is alright, and considering that the last Prime Minister hid key information about herself it is a possibility that she used her ability to influence others and they would not even have known. I don't want to be a police state, but there's got to be a better way to be proactive, and restore the Republic credibility at the very least"

Considering this was a Junior Senator there were things that Faith's office has done that could not be shared here.

[Jack Sparrow]

Jack shrugged. "There's no way to ensure someone won't attempt something detrimental to the common cause. Putting restrictions, overly-intrusive background checks, restrictions, or Jedi mind-reading tricks on the table would only serve to damage our reputation more." The senator-pirate chuckled. "We already have another Lasedri in the Senate. That says a lot. As to the current state of the Republic, it's rubbish, and getting rubbishier. We need a fresh start and a new voice. Out with the old, in with the new. Whether that means Miss Balor-Organa or myself is up to you and the rest."
