SPECIAL FEATURES
Sharpest Knife | Due to the usage of svolten rhyolite, the blade of Inanna will never dull or lose it’s sharp edge. However, this feature does not mean the blade cannot be destroyed.
Blood Is Thicker | Bonded through blood, Inanna is inseparable from Kyrinov. He is the only one that the sword will allow to wield it. Others who attempt to use the sword will experience unimaginable pain until the sword is released from their grasp.
Boon of Life | Inanna thrives on suffering. Because of this, when pain is inflicted on an enemy or when blood is drawn with Inanna, Kyrinov gains some stamina and strength back as a minor boost. If a life is taken, Kyrinov will receive a boost in the Dark Side, allowing for a minor boost of ease in calling upon it.
Qâzoi Kyantuska | The most coveted feature of this sword is that as damage is dealt via cuts, the opponent may begin to feel docile eventually as each cut allows Kyrinov to slowly subject them to his own will. The effectiveness in battle will vary based on experience in mental shielding and awareness of mental invasion in each individual.
STRENGTHS
Through Passion | While the blade is heavy, it makes an excellent dueling weapon and allows Kyrinov to keep an opponent at range if need be due to its massive size. The sword is well crafted while also being a very balanced weapon.
Through Strength | The sword is made of Alchemized Phrik and Songsteel, making it nigh indestructible. The blade can withstand lightsaber clashes, blaster bolts, and slug rounds. It would take considerable force to break the blade. Force lightning and electric-based attacks may be grounded using the blade as well.
Through Power | The rune which allows for Suppress Thought to be slowly inflicted on an opponent is arguably the most formidable augment of the weapon, allowing for the wielder to cast their influence over a person or small group.
Through Victory | The runes etched into the blade of the sword allows for a boon that Kyrinov may activate during battle. All of them are meant to give him a metaphorical high ground when facing off against opponents.
WEAKNESSES
Force Light | As a Dark Side weapon, Inanna will falter and even temporarily subside if exposed to Force Light, rendering it into a normal sword.
Scourge of The Dark | Inanna is a sentient blade and it is forged in the Dark Side. As such, it will often tempt the wielder to give into their more carnal and primitive urges and wreak havoc and suffering wherever they go. If the wielder is not vigilant, the blade’s thoughts and whims may become that of the wielder.
Monolith | The sword has a very distinct and overwhelming presence within the Force, making it a marker of the wielder’s position if in use.
Massive Weapon | Inanna is crafted specifically for Kyrinov, making it a rather large and heavy weapon to wield as it was made for the Epicanthix warrior. Others that may attempt to pick up the weapon may struggle to do so due to these factors.
Void | The effects of the sword’s runes may be nullified by Ysalamiri fields or Void Stones, rendering the blade more susceptible to breaks, chipping, and mundane attacks. The blade will need violence and blood to restore the runes on Inanna to peak performance if it is ever nullified.
DESCRIPTION
Inanna is the second weapon that Kyrinov has forged and the first Sith Sword ever forged by his own hands. Created with the purpose of aiding and tempering the Sith Lord while also giving him a boost in his mind-based abilities. The sword itself was forged in his own home on the Scintilla, hours spent ensuring that the weapon was perfect for the Sith in every imaginable way until he was completely satisfied with it. After some additional research with the Sith Alchemists and Scientists in the Garden of Death, Kyrinov spent time with the blade, exhausting hours and hours of his time to imbue and fill the blade with the power of the Dark Side.
It was delicate and time-consuming work but over time, blade and swordsman bonded both through blood and within the Force to become a daunting and well oiled killing machine.
