SPECIAL FEATURES

• Stealth Field Generator - Each Reaper droid is constructed with a built in stealth field generator, causing it to be a terror upon the battlefield.

Strengths:

• Stealth Field Generator - Their greatest strength, the stealth field generator permits the reaper droid to become a shimmering hazy image, almost as if it were a mirage upon the horizon. Though this shield can often give the position of the droid when it utilizes the equipment (things such as heavy snow, deep water, or other such environmental effects can cause the generator to short out or reveal the location of the droid).

Weaknesses:

• Shard Control - Without a Shard in control of the droid, it is nothing more than an empty husk that is incapable of being programmed or otherwise utilized in any means or manner required of the droid husk.

• Energy Drain - The Stealth Field Generator can easily drain the power supply of the droid, often causing it to lose power and become immobile. This means that the generator needs to be utilized sparingly as to prevent this fate.

• Bloodlust - Those Shards that are given control of a Reaper Battledroid are so lost to the Dark Side that they no longer can recognize anyone other than another Reaper Battledroid as a friend. Thus they are just as likely to turn on Contingency forces as they would be upon the enemies of the Contingency.

DESCRIPTION

Even among the Contingency there are those Shards that have fallen so far into the Dark Side that they are nothing more than mindless killing machines. So taken by the hatred and anger of those that turned against them, that they are no longer capable of rational thought. Though they can still be of some use to the Contingency as they begin their incursion upon the various worlds in the galaxy. Provided with bodies of their own, these Shards are placed within the Reaper Battledroid and let loose upon the galaxy.

Though with such madness comes a cost, and these Shards are just as likely to turn upon the Contingency forces as they would turn against their enemies. Each Reaper Droid is equipped with a set of durasteel claws and teeth that can rend and tear apart an enemy. They are further empowered by the installation of a stealth field generator to hide them upon the battlefield.

However they are still capable of being defeated. Such are their numbers that they are a limited and albeit valuable resource of the Contingency. Their stealth field generators inefficient enough to draw power in such great quantities that it can leave a droid immobile. Likewise their own bloodlust means that they are never deployed alongside other Contingency forces (though if they are, they are often destroyed by the Contingency rather than any attempt made at recapturing them).
