VESTAR
INFILTRATION TRAINING FACILITY
MODEL SPACE STATION
MISSION: JAILBREAK
=====================
Kiyron turned around from where he had overseen the final preparations. A holographic model of the station facility hovered in front of him, with all the corridors, shafts, and droid patrol routes. The participants were marked as well, in their training suits. The mission was simple. They were to escape the station prison block and deactivate the security protocols. No weapons and no tools except for what they could scavenge and improvise.
The goal was simple. Infiltrate, disable, and then exfiltrate. The goal here was not to fight their way out. It was something that many Underground and Coalition friends resorted to. But this was to develop a separate set of skills. One that allowed them to go in and out of a facility without being discovered.
He hit a switch and three dozen appropriated and reprogrammed KX droids armed with stun blasters, batons, and riot shields commenced their patrols, working in pairs as they patrolled through the station.
A flip of the intercom and the speakers for the participants would come alive.
Welcome, participants. This is an exercise of infiltration and escape. The goal is to make your way to the command center and deactivate the security patrols. Droid patrols are armed with stun weapons and will shoot on sight. The effects will last longer than the exercise, so you're hit, you are dead for the exercise. All methods and tools are at your disposal. Good luck.
He turned off the intercom and sat back in his seat, watching the movement as the training began. The model was a warren of corridors, ventilation shafts, maintenance accesses, and everything that existed within a space station. For all intents and purposes, it was a space station. The prison block was standard enough. Open room, cot and toilets built into the wall. Locking bulkhead with an opening hatch to pass food through. There were trays, cups, and a spoon for each participant as their starting equipment. One of them would be ingenious enough to find a way out. Perhaps by prying open the door panel and shorting out the controls. Or finding a ventilation shaft behind the wall. Many options.
They would all be competent enough to find a way out on their own. They were some of the best in the galaxy after all. And this was to test them without gear or equipment. Just their minds and their wits.
This will be a member-driven story. I might add in some additional challenges or twists, but otherwise, feel free to write your escape and the droids and such.
