- Comprehensive stealth suite consisting of a Stygium cloaking device as well as other devices such as a gravitic modulator, Reflec coating and thrust thrace dampers make the ship almost undetectable. It also features a number of secondary stealth systems that make it easier to bypass high security and slip through blockades.

- Ideal infiltration ship. Its speed, defences and and manoeuvrability are a cut or two above average, allowing it to deploy its troop contingent quickly and evade danger. Use of Ghostwave transmitters ensures communications' security. It is equipped to carry out boarding actions. The Unity Processing Matrix acts as a powerful droid brain, resulting in things such as better power distribution, detection and evasion of dangers and calculation of hyperspace jumps.
- The Stygium Stealth Array is powerful, but Stygium-cloaked vessels need to decloak to fire. Thus, any time the ship fires at someone, it has to decloak briefly. Chatting on comms, and scanning will also cause detection even if the cloak is active. Moreover, the Stygium stealth array is power-hungry, so it cannot be active all the time.
- The holographic shell is not without drawbacks. The systems memory only allows a single disguise, which has to be pre-programmed and canot be altered in the middle of a mission. Moreover, the disguise is only useful at short range. Close investigation or touching will unravel the illusion.
- Poorly armed. Lacking heavy armaments, the vessel fares poorly equipped in slug fests. It is supposed to get a unit of commandos in and out of a target zone, be it planetary or in space. Bottom line, its offensive capabilities are poor.
- Weakspots: Engine exhaust, weapon barrels, and sensor arrays have to have openings, and therefore a shot up the pipe would be devastating and without protection due to lack of shields. Such shots are rather difficult, even for a good pilot, but still a potential threat.
The concept of the shuttle is a straightforward one. It has been optimised for speed, manoeuvrability, defence and, above all, stealth. While Archangel has significant military forces, it relies on surprise and secrecy rather than brute firepower. The design of the shuttle is in keeping with this. The vessel has been equipped with a powerful Stygium stealth array, a gravitic modulator, a thrust thrace damper and a myriad of secondary stealth systems that make it difficult to detect the ship even when the cloaking device is not active, such as sensor-baffling Refled coating.
It has been equipped with a 4x-Phantom sensor jammer, a compact, high-output active sensor jamming system. The Phantom incorporates a DERP, capable of absorbing and blocking incoming long-range sensor pings. Programmable Paint, a false ID transponder, and a sensor modulator help the vessel take on different identities if needed.With these features, it is supposed to deploy a teams of elite soldiers into enemy territory without being detected. Its speed and stealthiness also make it good for quick getaways, landing planetside to evacuate commandos or spies once their mission is complete or they have to make a quick exit after being thwarted.
In addition, the shuttle can be used to carry out boarding actions, enabling unit of soldiers to infiltrate an enemy ship or space station. To this end it utilises technology common to boarding craft, such as the Katarn-Class. A field disruptor allows it to bypass deflector shields, while a magnetic docking clamp lets it latch onto the hull of a ship or station. Powerful plasma torches mounted aorund the airlock open up a hole, which the airlock will seal itself around.
Obviously the field disruptor is also useful for planetary insertions. As a tradeoff, the shuttle has weak armaments. Its armour is tough, but it is meant for infiltration, not direct combat and it lacks deflectors shields. It is supposed to sneakily insert the droids or other soldiers that are hitching a ride on it, not punch through enemy defences or get involved in slugfests. Archangel has incorporated a Unity Processing Matrix into the shuttle. It basically acts as a powerful, high-end droid brain. Each transport is capable of deploying a platoon-sized unit. The interior of the shuttle is utilitarian, which is in line with general Archangel aesthetics. The crew has everything it needs, but there are no creature comforts. But then it is meant for soldiers, not the upper crust of society. Powerful communications systems allow the crew to remain in contact with their superiors without having to worry about interception.
The official name of the shuttle is Infiltration Vessel 1a. This is boring, so Enyo's posse calls it the Blackbird Infiltration Ship. Enyo strongly disapproves. Talsir Vanaeth, Enyo's former teacher, served as a consultant for the project. She has a background in terrorism as well as starship design and engineering, so she was perfectly qualified for the role. Because the shuttle has a myriad of expensive doodads, it only has an extremely limited production run. Thus it is not available for purchase on the market and is only given to select Archangel operatives. Many of Archangel's operatirves are droids. This means that the craft is able to strip away many of the features that organic crews require. The atmosphere inside the craft is kept normally to prevent damage to the organic exteriors of HRDs, but otherwise life support is minimal. However, a proper life support system can be installed without issue before embarking on a mission if the shuttle is supposed to be used by an organic crew, such as Enyo's clone siblings.
