[ Info ] Internal Structure Overview

Preface

I'll begin by saying that, when it comes to our internal ranks, the aim is not to "re-invent the wheel" so to speak. As we are a schism group from the traditional Dathomiri structure, I plan on utilizing some of that foundation in getting things organized. That said, below is the tentative structure of the Witchmasters and some insight into each role.

The Witchmasters

As a whole, the scope of the faction is to be the premier "Witch" experience. For too long, Dathomir has laid stagnant, and so we aim to provide a direction, goals, and activity for those flying the Witch banner. This will not be the traditional clan-centric, matriarchal society keen on isolationism. Rather, the Witchmasters have an expeditionary directive: Expand. Conquer. Thrive. Here, members of the Witchmasters stand on relatively equal footing, whilst the conquered stand just below.

The Witch Kings

The two leaders of the Witchmasters form a duumvirate. The mantle "King" is not used in the regal sense here, as [member="Ember Rekali"] and [member="Isley Verd"] are the furthest from wanting worship. Here, Witch King implies vision, leading the charge, wisdom, and (of course) generosity with the spoils. The Witch Kings do not claim to be the apex representation of all of Dathomir's clans and cultures. They do not strive to remedy the current state of the world. Rather, they have agreed to defend Dathomir herself whilst focusing primarily upon conquest.

Witchmasters

The Witchmasters are composed of those that would be recognized as "Elders" or general "Masters" by Galactic standards. (Yes, there is a pro-Force user bias here). It can be said that Witchmasters benefit the greatest from the faction's society, as they rightly receive the largest portion of a conquest's spoils. They are granted parcels of land/territory and are permitted to command the forces and residents therein. Any riches of these lands are theirs to claim, save a portion of tribute that is given above to the Kings. (Which is used in making the faction's ventures/growth possible.)

Spellweavers | Mavens

The term Maven is a catch-all term for any that meet the base qualifications of "full-fledged" membership within the Witchmasters. In the context of Force Users, these individuals are recognized as "Spellweavers" or "Knights" by Galactic standard. Similarly, exceptional non-force users can attain this rank through service to the faction. Upon becoming a Maven, one is permitted to own property within the territory of a Witchmaster. This property belongs to the Maven, save a portion of its wealth. This is given to the supervising Witchmaster as tribute. (See the pattern?) Mavens fall under the command of their local Witchmaster in the context of conquests.

Initiates | Conscripts

The term Conscript is a catch-all term for any entry level members within the Witchmasters. These individuals are recent converts, untested (Apprentice/Initiate level) force users, etc. Conscripts are placed under the charge of a Spellweaver and reside within whatever property they own. Their efforts are rewarded with a fair cut of the Spellweaver's loot: just enough to whet their appetite...whilst also enticing advancement. In ventures of conquest, Conscripts fall under the command of their local Spellweaver.

Thralls

These are the conquered. These are those deemed unworthy of the opportunity to convert. These are those who produce the wealth of all parcels/lands. Put bluntly, they are slaves and receive Kark all of any spoils.
