It'd be of interest to know what a slicer would need with an infochant, but perhaps pounding the permacrete and knocking (down) on doors might not be his particular style.

Yeah I was thinking that your character would be sort of more of a pounding the pavement type of guy.

Cryax doesn't really like to put himself out there.

Also, this isn't like he'd be slicing the information from the safety of a holoscreen at some dive bar - Arik is very much a hands on kind of fellow, knocking down doors and getting information the old fashioned way.
