Inner Light (Kiskla Grayson)

Saki

Came in like a wrecking maul
"AHHHHH" Saki kicked as the chunk of earth flew, going wide and into the tree. This world was many things but she was more then happy to use its abundance of open space to practice for the next part of the war. She had fought throughout Metalorn, to Dalaang, Dac, Ossus, Korriban and seen what destruction could be brought. She had felt it all and come out of it a jedi master.

One of the youngest but it still wasn't strong enough on Empress Teta, she had watched some fall in combat to injury and some fall to the darkside. ONes she had never thought would fall, felt others disappear and what came of it all. Nothing, she had succeeded and gotten Maya out of the fires sending her back home with her order. The silver jedi could handle her and make sure she was safe. She considered that a small win compared to the loses of masters, padawans and knights.

Her energy flared and Saki jumped up kicking high with a distorted blast of kinetic energy as she released coming down with a strong and powerful stomp to root herself to the earth. The ground coming to her command as it rose into the air and she moved forward kicking it into another tree. That one was better, that one had her giving a nod while she focused. Aika had taught her how to alter the environment, a trick she had learned from her master. Now Saki was using it to learn and really work the elements of earth shaping.

Digging deeper into the force to find herself and root her energies to the earth her stance becoming something few of the padawans could move her from her place. The bracers she was holding off to the side while her skullthumper remained strong and ready for anything. She had some plans to practice with it, the sith battling and ganging up on her had given her new drive to really use it for both attack and defense. Her hands reaching out while she took a breath in deeply and exhaled sending her energies into the ground.

The pebbles levitated and Saki pushed them outwards in all directions. before she moved. She had wanted to talk to the grandmaster [member="Kiskla Grayson"], she doubted the woman would even come. Not because she was busy but because Saki preferred avoiding usually getting involved in more then she needed to. She didn't have all the flaunted wisdom she had the experience and had managed to hold out and onto the light while others faltered.

That was the other part of her enjoyment, she was here on Tython when she had heard of a lock out. People not able to come and scoffed piloting her ship down and letting anyone who wanted to complain come to her. Tython was the jedi's homeworld, saying they couldn't come here was something she found universally stupid and besides might be fun to see if she could keep up with another vaapad user since Darron was dead and Iella busy.

It was to be assumed that the tumult of Teta would not soon vanish. For a majority of time, Kiskla had been on Tython. It was pleasant coincidence for [member="Saki"] that the blonde had an opening for a brief meeting. Although, she doubted anything would be as simple as a hello, how are you?

Especially to one she'd not coerced with before. Nevertheless, the youthful Master came as requested, just in time for a barrage of stones to be manipulated by the Earth Shaper's doings. The Kiffar didn't even lift her hand to prevent the pebbles from reaching her. They simply levitated limply, suspended in the air before dropping unceremoniously.

"Master Saki." Kiskla greeted, respectfully enough. "You summoned me? What can I do for you?"

Saki paused for a moment as she let out a breath, her body shuddering and tnesing with the release. She could feel her hear pounding and the blood in her ears while she unclenched her fists letting the white knuckles go away. She rolled her shoulder hearing the pops, feeling the strain in her neck as it popped loud and ready. "Thanks for coming, so what are we going to do?" She let it hang in the air more for emphasis, Empress Teta had cost them more then she had seen.

"Your herroraging jedi, either from seduction of the darkside or from capture, we've barely held the sith at bay and even I was feeling a need for a rest on Empress Teta." Now she was turning and taking the armored sections off with a small crash and impact crater as they hit the ground. THe armored covering of the boots so she could kick them off and Saki sat down on the large weight in the ground. "Come on sit and relax, you fought just as much as me and I don't pummel everything... usually."

She kept stripping down to a shirt and pants while stretching out. "Since I'm one of the few you haven't asked about Teta, I guess I should be glad saves me having to worry about getting called anything else but jedi." She remained with eyes locked onto the blonde woman but popped her fingers. "Also lets me relax and keep out of whatever you do in your ivory tower while I fight everywhere we are sent."

“Thank you, but no.” Kiskla replied to the offer to sit. She sat a surprisingly large amount while buried in folders and studies etcetera. Any chance to stretch her long legs was welcomed.

“You know, you’re one of the few that came back from Teta not tainted by the oracle’s dark persuasion. Those are the individuals I’ve been speaking to. Padawans and Knights, mostly- — those questioning themselves.” Kiskla folded her arms and wandered in the direction of the seated teenager. “But you still seem doubtful of something.” Kiskla was woefully not an empath. Perhaps she’d seek out Knight Gunn for that, and broaden her emotional spectrum. "It's not all a bought fighting, Saki. While that may be where your talents lie.

“What can I help you with.”

Saki looked up at the grandmaster an laughed a little to that. "Isn't it though? I'm sixteen grandmaster I've fought across the Republic for the jedi where I was needed since I was thirteen and Jor'si sent me to Metalorn while he fled the Republic. I fought across the outer rim and where the sith were because we needed to stop them, their atrocities against the people of Kahlee and Togoria. When we beat them at Korriban and worked to secure and help the people they left in disarray I was there on the frontline and I stayed there because we needed to help the people."

She remained thinking about it and looked at her hands. "I have watched the council change and seen it go from little help to full and back to just a few sitting around ready to tear apart decisions. Seen a good amount of grandmasters and fought or worked alongside them. I wasn't here for Coruscant and Carida but fighting on Teta I saw some of the temptation. Talking with Maya and hearing the madness of her delusions in her voice. I got to hear half the lies they tell and if I was an idiot or hadn't seen the horrors they can do I might want to believe them as well."

She had a small smirk now leaning back and stretching. "Sometimes you have to unburden and let it all out before it becomes a gnarled root in the pit of your stomach and all you want to do is pummel anyone who looks at you wrong."
