Innocent Bystander Standing By.

Bespin.

What teenager WPULDN'T want to travel to Bespin? It was famous! Sure it was in First Order space and they were supposed to be...well...Imperial and all that. But as far as Lori knew, she'd be safe there. Afterall, weren't her parents friends with everybody? Well, maybe her Mom moreso than her Dad. Except for maybe the Sith. They were causing trouble lately, so she thought that she would bypass where the blockade was and head south.

Her training fighter the Grey Sparrow had taken a series of hyperspace jumps to get there. As well as hitching rides on much, much larger vessels.

But for this part in her venture, she was on her own. The Grey Sparrow exited hyperspace outside of the planet's orbit. She watched in awe as some of the far superior Imperial class Star Destroyers and frigates loomed by. It made her feel quite small.

Hopefully they didn't mind her randomly showing up. Lori kept her shields up, just in case and her comm systems open. No doubt she'd be hailed soon and would have to identify herself.

Bespin one of the major population centers of the First Order, and mostly known for Cloud City and it's Tabanna mining. Recovering quite well since the Alliance Invasion of the Anoat Sector months ago, the people were thriving and they were happy. First Imperial Security was raised as a result of the prior invasion. Kyrel had been on the world for some time, dealing with a group of terrorists for three days. When it was completed he had often stayed and helped the military out with small matters. He thought they were mostly a waste of his time, but couldn't complain that in his downtime he can focus more on his studies in the dark side. He had studied datapads of the recent division of territories brokered by the First Order and the Sith Empire. The First Imperials had the West, and the Sith-Imperials had the East. He couldn't help but think of how the Great Galactic War was a long conflict that ended with the Imperial Bloc winning.

Bespin had been in celebration with it only recently coming to an end. Meanwhile as Master of Ren continued his studies, an Imperial officer reached out to the Pilot of the Grey Fighter. Speaking in a commanding yet authoritative tone to the Pilot. "Attention Pilot of the Gray Sparrow, please transfer identification and docking codes for clearance at once."

And there it was. Lori's heart skipped a beat as an Imperial officer spoke through her comms. In truth she nearly jumped in her cockpit at the sound as it broke the silence. Might of been better if she was listening to music. But oh well. Now she had to answer him before they blew her out of the sky or something!

She flicked the switch so that he could hear her reply. ~Uh...hello. This is the Grey Sparrow. Identification. Sure. But I don't have any docking codes. I was hoping that maybe you'd give me permission?
Or if not...umm...at least let me just refuel. Please? I'd greatly appreciate it.~
Her voice was young of course, so hopefully that'd help her in the long run. The innocence of her youth could make up for her mistakes in regards to Imperial protocol.

Lori transferred her identification.

The officer had taken the transmission, upon hearing that she didn't have any docking codes. He sighed to himself, Kyrel in that moment walked in, spending enough time analyzing the new mandate that was put in place, by the two Imperial Powers. Kyrel saw the tiny ship, and looked closer at it, at it's transponder codes. The one with whom he knew belonged to Arenais... Where did he hear that name before. Memories not too long ago stirred within him. He remembered his brief meeting with the man known as Veriere Arenais. It didn't take him long to put two and two together and learned that the who was flying the craft. Belonged to one who had been apart of the house. Only recently heard of Commenor's demise. An unfortunate event to which the Order could not have taken part in, after all the Imperial nation had been all but aligned with their Sith allies. They would not risk open war over helping a minor player that only shared nothing less than trade relations.

Kyrel looked sternly at the Officer. "What is the meaning of this?" The Officer responded, returning the same gaze in kind as he spoke with Kyrel. "This ship that we have found wished to dock within the city. We have requested docking codes, but it seems the craft carries none. Shall I request that they be shot down?" Kyrel thought to himself momentarily pondering destroying the craft. Before responding. "No... I will deal with them myself. Have a couple of TIEs escort them to the nearest landing pad." The officer nodded before responding to the ship. "Very well attention pilot of the Grey Sparrow. You will be escorted to the nearest landing platform, make any funny moves and you will be met with hostile action." He said as a couple of TIE Fighters were dispatched to escort the craft to the nearest platform.

Kyrel within the hour, was already at the platform, ready and waiting to greet the guest. Wondering if it was the Dark Jedi he encountered before. Perhaps a refugee. He had no idea. But he would find out soon enough. He stood waiting patiently, waiting for the pilot to land and step out.

Any funny moves? Hostile action? Boy were they ever edgy here. ~Roger that, sir. Thank you~ As the two TIE fighters came along on either side, alarm bells started to go off. Lori hit the switch to mute them and then flew alongside them, keeping her course steady and on pace. She could see the pilots glancing at her on ocassion and a part of her wanted to stick her tongue out at them or pull goofy faces. But the warning would echo in her mind. No need to make them angry.

The Grey Sparrow touched down gently onto the landing pad, with a small hiss from the hydrolics of the landing gear heard as she finished the landing procedures and shut off the engine. A click and swoosh was heard as the canopy opened. Lori unbuckled herself and then grabbed her satchel. She climbed down the ladder at an easy pace, jumping off the ladder for the last few feet.

Her mouth opened as she started to relay instructions on which type of fuel to use when she turned and saw [member="Kyrel Ren"] standing and waiting. Lori's words caught in her throat. Something about him made her wary, a feeling deep down in her gut. "You...don't look like a fuel jockey...umm" Was he a tour guide of some sort? Bespin was famous! It was bound to have tourist traps! But he didn't quite look the sort for that either. Unless he was just a really good actor.

"I'm Lori. Who might you be?" She offered him a small smile in hopes of easing the tension that she was feeling inside.
