HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After having traveled into the depths of Chaos Dakrul the Faceless Hunger was confronted with the entrapped souls of cursed Cha’ta’ris in a hell of endless starvation. The Mawite Heathen Priest returns his kin onto the mortal plane to further develop the undead creatures into something new, something better. By supplying them with the necessary sustenance to indefinitely bind their existence, he seeks to bring upon the apocalypse prophesied by the Avatars.

- Description: Unless a soul is strong enough to resist the natural gravity of the Netherworld it is doomed to be entirely ripped apart. Nothing but a shred, a pebble of cosmic dust. Necromancy is the art of manipulating these particles, forming, and lastly binding them into a physical husk. The Hungering are an example of this sacrilegious craft. Using his staff, Dakrul is able to bind the essence of his kin into mortal shells baptizing them in fire before raising them to serve at his command. Hungry as all Cha'ta'ri are they are called back into existence for the sole reason of stilling their terrible lust for sustenance. Which they must, since feeding on the force energy present in all living things is the only way for them to bind themselves to this plane indefinitely.

- Combat Function: Turning corpses into Cha'ta'ri remanents is a process of a few seconds, after which a short transformation by blue flames births a rotten four-armed creature of insatiable hunger and terrible malice. Armed with claws, fangs, and overwhelming strength and speed the reanimated minions will fall into a blind rampage killing and eating any unfortunate being in their vicinity. When armed with the Staff of Dakrul they can be steered into a certain direction or target a specific individual or place.
- Rampaging Undead: Terrifying ferocity along with their thick bloated flesh and chitin covering makes them a devastating enemy in close counter situations.
- Zombie Horde: While dangerous by themselves their capacity to overwhelm and tear through their enemies becomes more and more effective as their ranks grow.
- Insatiable Hunger: Their sole purpose on the mortal plane is to feast on the flesh of the living. They can not understand and do not follow commands that require any more from them.
- Gear-less: They can not equip nor use any sort of weaponry or tools.
- Dark hearts: Longer exposure to light side energies breaks the curse that binds their souls releasing the force inside.
