Interest Check: Alchemy/Sith Magik

So there is very few, mainly one actually, in the OS that know how to teach both Alchemy and Sith Magik; and that lone person is extremely busy. :)

So I've decided that a group thread to go out and learn these two arts for ourselves should be in order. However, there are some slight restrictions.

1. Sith Magik: Traditionally this is reserved for Sith Lords/Ladys and higher tier Sith Knights. Due to the nature of this skill, Acolytes can learn about it but can't successfully use it. However, if an Acolyte is considering pursuing some of the spells associated with Sith Magik, they are welcomed to come along and begin understanding it.

2. Sith Alchemy: I'm unsure what rank one can begin to use this. The Darkside is heavily used in creating interesting things, so I would assume Acolytes would not be able to use, but can begin to understand/learn about it.

I'm looking to expand my character's knowledge of these two arts while still maintaining the path I have worked on for her. If anyone is interested, please feel free to express your interest.

I wasn't sure if Acolytes could use Alchemy. A few months back there was this whole debate that turned ugly over it on a Discussion board. Thanks for the clarification. :)

You can view alchemy with a three tier system.

Acolyte level- simple sith swords, small to medium Sith spawn made one at a time.

Knight- Average Sith Swords, small to medium Sithspawn made at a handful with a big enough basin, large sithspawn one at a time.

Master- Master grade Sith Swords, mass produce sithspawn with a large enough basin, able to make large Sithspawn three or four at a time, gigantic sithspawn available.

Or something like that. Kinda want to make a simple guide to alchemy now. I might just do that.

Awesome!!!! I'll give it a couple of more days to see if others are interested then I'll start the thread.

In the past, I've always played Magickal Sith characters and it seems old habits are hard to break.

Balaya was taught by Hauntress and Kaine the arts and she'll be there for you.

Bundori was well getting taught by her master Matsu Xaingu but she needs a new master now to further her illusions
