Former Republic worlds are left defenseless in the wake of recent battles; seemingly unstoppable, the One Sith are left uncontested in the core as the remnants of democracy crumble around it. Yet new forces lurk in the Rim, and old threats wane due to unrest or stagnation. What will come to be, what new powers will rise to claim hegemony in the many power vacuums that now exist?
There is much for the trillions of souls to consider, but for now the gathering storm has yet to wreak havoc. There is time between battles where armies lick their wounds, and fleets assess their losses. A time where the helpless can rest, and the hopeless can escape upheaval.

This is more-or-less a social thread. There is no amount of danger, it's invite only (plus-ones are welcome), and it's mostly organic with no predefined outcomes. The advertised purpose of this thread is for business owners to promote high technology, or anything that is considered innovative and creative by galactic standards.
