"Again!" Myrra shouted as her sister launched an attack and she blocked, "drop the attitude, Lyra. Again." She watched as her sister picked up the wooden weapons and reset herself. "You're not crippled, you're without the force. Do it. Again." The older Araano barked and nodded acknowledging her younger sister's next attack. She ducked underneath, clocking Charlyra in the back. "C'mon!" Sweat dripping down her brow as she looked at the mat, Lyra rolled up and went straight into her next attack. "There we go!" In the wake of Charlyra's condition, training the Acolyte in other methods of combat has been critical. Charlyra hated to be so - mundane? Without the Force. Shii-Cho, Djem So and Makashi. Were the forms that Charlyra was now training in, forms that did not rely so heavily on force powers. In addition she'd been working more and more with traditional lightsabres. "Let's go again sun djem!" Myrra demanded she wanted, needed to know her sister could disarm someone without her force abilities and sun djem was a classic Shii-Cho move to do that in. The two of them were in a small room somewhere on the Villa.
The sound of wooden weapons clashing could be heard. Myrra's concentration was doubled here, she was harder on her sister and fought her like a true opponent might. "Almost little sister, let's go again."
Charlyra on her part rolled her shoulders back as she readjusted her stance to an offensive neutral and then worked from there. Step, step, block, parry, block, thrust. She would prove that she was still a Jedi even without her force abilities. Her heart and soul beat for this, they bled for it. Jung, jung ma and sai! Jung! Clash, the weapons worked against the other and Charlyra gritted her teeth. Myrra was losing her footing. The hilt of her weapon faced her, as she headbutted Myrra and used the distance between to come in with a flowing water attack.
Myrra didn't have the time to move out of that one, and so she struck back, hard. Breaking into a shun, she then moved straight into a disarming attack. Charlyra's yelp could be heard as the wooden weapon fell out of her hand, without thinking she charged right into Myrra who had not been expecting her younger sister tackle her to the ground. It was at this time that either of them realized that they had gathered an audience...
