NAADA SA | CORUSCANT, underworld | INTO DARKNESS | Lirka Ka

The underworld of Coruscant wasn't exactly described to be paradise but rather quite the opposite. The stark contrast
to her homely clean wooden floors, scent of spicy candles and and serenity was hard to ignore and she knew that it
had been wise to dress in less noticeable clothing than she was used to from the get go. Not that the togruta had never
set foot here before, quite the contrary as Naada quite enjoyed herself at these underground clubs from time to time
when she craved a change of scene. She was familiar enough that she knew where best to keep to, but tonight she wasn't
here to make dirty deals with easily manipulated merchants at the black markets.

Tonight she seeked out something or someone far more... unlikely. Someone who might be willing to do some rather
dirty work for a negotiable price. And to find someone like that, she needed to move further down into the
underworld than she'd like to.

No matter how confident she was, these streets seemed to have dangerous eyes following her around every corner and
she secretly kept her hand close to her lightsaber just in case there would be a need for it. Who knows, there might just
be someone who wanted togruta montrails to sell for witchcraft or something more ridiculous like that. Fierce eyes warned
passers-by of her intent to strike back any sudden moves in her direction and she could walk all the way to her destination
unharmed.
Once at the seedy lobby of a larger building, Naada lowered her hood to have a look around. It was a crowded place, and not
one of these people looked remotely friendly, but that was to expected. Yellow eyes scanned through the crowd as one of
these people should be the right one for the job.

It should be a bounty hunter, no less.

It had been a long time since Lirka had step foot on Coruscant, a long time. That she was even here now was far from the wisest thing the beastly armored Hunter had done. Coruscant was big, loaded with work and any other sort of dreg who’d further her goals. But it was also enemy territory, the heart of it. She hadn’t had many interactions with the GA during her time, they were a new goliath on the radar: but it mattered not, a tenure with the Sith made you friends of very, very, few.

But these people, drowned under florescent lights and the crushingly metal claustrophobia that was the Underworld? That wouldn’t know her name, not by a long shot. It was like being young (or as close to young as a Sephi of her age could feel) again, sitting among the scum and villainy waiting for something halfway interesting to happen. Albeit, in these darker times it had taken a somewhat more…comedic look than that of raw intimidation.

Off in a corner, sheltered in a little bubble of solitude; none of the other patrons daring to get too close to the power armored brute, Lirka sat nursing some sort of vile drink through an ever so minuscule slit in her helmet. She had appearances to keep up, and one of those appearances was a hidden face. She was a sore sight, too large for most of the seats, scrunched in some sort of military grade powersuit, and of course, having a massive great machete at her side as her only companion. In truth, it was hard not to see her.

With an unheard confidence for a person that clearly didn't belong down here, Naada kept her head high like she was wearing a royal crown as she now passed through the crowd of lugubre people that stared at her from all corners of the room. Naada made sure to make eye contact in return, an unspoken warning not to try anything with the Togruta. There was an heavy feeling inside the room, like she had interrupted something by just being here and a cocky smile formed on her lips. Naada stopped, now looking the room over from right to left, taking a few mental notes of who she saw in here but there was just one in particular that stood out, and that was the larger creature in the far back, sitting alone. Probably for a good reason, too.

Taking one step in the creatures direction, she was abruptly stopped by a sneering man with a knife pointing up at her. He was probably out to rob her, the fool. "Hear, how you even made it alive all the way down here, I'll never know. This is not a fortunate place for none, least of all you." the man spoke with a raspy voice, slowly being surrounded by a few more men and women, probably from the same crew-

"Is that so..." Naada sighed, bored with how he would want to circle the matter. The buzzing and light from a lightsaber made them take a step back as Naada revealed her katana-styled yellow saber that she now slowly raised to point back at the crowd that had circled her. "'Don't judge the book by it's cover', ever heard of that expression? Or did you all grow up under the same rock?" the Togruta mocked, carrying a smirk as she now read their faces. "I'm sorry if you thought I just accidentally made my way all the way down here. But I don't do things accidentally." she hissed as a warning. "Not even when I decapitate all of you all. So I advice you to step back if you like having a head."

Lirka watched the scuffle, halfway amused. Another child in the muck, swinging around their fancy toys like it made a difference. But, if nothing else: it had piqued her interest, setting down her drink and letting the mouth-slit hiss closed. She leaned forward, watching the scuffle for a moment: it was interesting to say the least, and if nothing else this girl had proven herself interesting: be it for better or worse. With a hiss of the whirling machinery that made up her powersuit, attaching her blade onto her back with the snap of a maglock.

She stood behind the growing crowd, towering above the gaggle. Placing a massive armored claw on the man's shoulder and loomed above him.

"Why don't we all go enjoy our drinks? Besides, I need to have a conversation with the good lady."

She dug her claws into his flesh after that, razors cutting into the meat of his shoulder and gave him a toss to the side. The crowd dispersed some but Lirka paid them no mind and instead focused on the child before her, her helmet revealed no emotion, just two glowing green eyes that bore into her, judging the Togruta.

"You shouldn't be waving your fancy glowstick around so easily, girl. There's a lot of money out there for Jedi, never know who's looking to strike it rich."

A threat? Maybe, but it was ultimately a reminder, maybe Lirka was going soft again already.
