Into the Garbage Chute (hunters guild)

The hunters guild had done a great deal for her and joining up to make some quick credits had proven a valuable thing in truth. She was looking at all of it and from behind the cockpit of the ship she had a small grin on her face. Hunting a young and an old Dianoga or find one that might have been giving birth and get the larve while she checked around. Those might be harder to get but she had some equipment and her own gear now while she moved about with a small wiggle to her steps.

They were landing on the planet and she looked to Saia in the co-pilot seat as she gave a nod of her head. "Stay with the ship, I'll work on the job and then we shall go and have a little fun. Never know what you might find with some credits." She had actually enjoyed her time with Saia going off on adventures and getting some gear they could use. She'd have to see about aiding the mandalorians but not worried about that for now, she was more looking at the wall of equipment she had bought on Shri-tal before gearing up in a combat suit and with some stunners.

Matsu grabbed the equipment and a case as she headed down. Some fo the droids she had gotten from Astrian were helpful in carrying the cage for the creatures. She was mostly looking for the sewers and garbage. A favored food of the creatures and using a scanner she was working on some calibrations same with the stunner. This wasn't something she was used to but finding a large one would take some work while she moved about the city careful to keep her face hidden by the hat. The small suit of combat armor proving useful and helpful when they found an open drain pipe.

Then the smell came to her of the rot and decay, all the garbage and other things floating in the water while she stepped on thepermacrete to go deeper in. A small visor coming down over her eyes to illuminate the low light and a mask over her face to not have to breath in anything hazardous. She was taking it slow for now, searching for a baby of the creature might end up being easier while the scanner chirped with small blips from vermin but not quite what she wanted or needed. Her senses expanding outward and pushing at everything she could find within the space.

The searching within the sewers had Matsu looking carefully now. They were working to keep their boots secured on the slimey and slick concrete, the trash adding up and so they didn't fall in the water and alert the thing just yet. It meant going slower and being more focused, more careful while they proceeded. Her sensor blipping as she moved forward and stopped at a cross section. "Which way?" She was talking more to herself while looking at the water. The babies of the species hitched rides by going through the waste and refuse of the ships. IT was how they got off world and she spoke. "Have one of the droids scanning the waters near the starport."

It was a long shot but dammit nothing ventured, nothing gained while moving about through it and into the more nasty looking and disgusting section of the sewers. She was glad when the levels for bacteria and toxin in the air spiked to have her mask and her hair be protected. Destroying this combat suit would suck but she would be able to do it as it stood. She was scanning and checking for more life signs when something blipped telling her there was something larger then a rat or lizard that was down here. She kept serching looking for one of the arms of the creature and went through what else she knew about it... THey didn't attack unless provoked or cornered.

Moving forward now as she found it, a small patch in the water that the droids were scanning. It was a nest partially submerged and searching it for the creatures babies they found one. Loading it into a tube and container to preserve it. Now they needed to find the mother or father or whatever and hope it wasn't fully grown and able to drown or eat them. The ammonia levels from discharge brought on to white goopy slime all around them. Even in the suit Matsu thought she could taste it and kept moving deeper into the sewers leaving some of the droids behind to make sure the baby survived and return it to the ship in another cargo container.

The trek through the sewers had her mind racing and focusing on what was coming, she had seen it on the radar and in the force her mind could make it out. She felt the creature somewhere but her field of vision was low as the garbage rustled and behind her... then in the front and to the sides. Letting a breath out as confirmation the droids had returned to the ship and gotten what they needed. Now it was all about getting an adult and Matsu brought her attention around while stepping into the waters. It went up to her waist while she felt the chill of it and that sinking feeling in her stomach while looking out of her vision.

Matsu was still searching at the Liran from the ship arrived, the pale blue skin under the armor as she held her scanner and together the pair were searching for the creature. Matsu felt it slithering around them as she moved and sloshed in the muck until one of the tendrils appeared and Matsu looked seeing the eyestalk in the trash. The droids with her and Saeko moved quickly to grab the tendrils coming at them as the droids moved as well. She was focused on the force energies and restraining the creature while avoidng the other tendrils and its mouth somewhere down below the surface as she fought. "Saeko be careful."

Matsu and the others kept at it, the tendrils of the beast holding them while the droids started working to bring it out. The droids were around and using stunners while Saeko and herself were now standing up on the sides of the sewer while the full size of the beast was shown. All flesh and tendril with teeth and its eyestalk. Matsu and Sako with the droids got it into the containers and were shoving parts of it in as it slept. They had stunned it and were now going to have to get it out of the sewers, then to the ships cargo hold with the baby and back to the hunters guild.

The trip back to the ship was an interesting one to say the least, as Matsu stood there at the entrance to the sewers she was glad to take her helmet off and take in gulps of fresh air. Even with the underlying scents of rot and her armor covered she could survive that. She had faced worse while moving off into the distance. Matsu made a face while the droids were being detained by a small band of stormtroopers... or what was left of them. Remnant from the Sith Empire now a small gang of thieves and liars. They were accosting her droids about what they had in the case and she approached speaking. "These are not the droids you're looking for."

The stormtroopers didn't buy it, they didn't have full armor only what was left over from the empire... That helped cause it meant they were operating on weakened systems and the one in inquisitor armor moving before her and speakling. "She's a jedi, get her." Matsu looked at him and was moving now as she stood there wondering what she could do. While killing them might be overlooked they were attacking her she had a problem with it all and wasn't going to try and cause a scene as she spoke. "I really do not want to do this." Matsu had her hands moving to the sabers on her belt and felt the weight in her hand as the silver blade activate. Low power setting to stun them and knock them out would be enough as she closed her eyes and prepared to defend herself.

Knowing her own roll in this all. One could say that she could use all her assets on this mission. After all what would a Zeltron do if she didn't know how to use all her assets to her fullest ability. After which time she let out a long sigh to the fact that that was the half dozen now slaps to her bum. All she did was help her tongue and pretended that she like this. As she walked along the streets. After all it had taken her a few weeks to get in good or at less to do what need to be done. Looking down at her stomach being glad that this bump wasn't showing that much as of yet.

Finding herself now ging into a well known bar only thing before she did paused to seek out in the force. Just whats keeping you I'm able to get in good with this group, they are like little puppy eating out of my hands."

Matsu looked at Maya who had come to help her and was glad to see her. The zeltron jedi master was skilled and helpful as she was moving about the area and Matsu used the distraction. Her saber hilt knocking the head of the one trooper and her hand came out using a heart stun when she touched the man to knock him over. Matsu watched the two of them fall while one moved after Maya, her hand pulling his foot from under him while she gathered the inquisitor. The armor shimmering with his energy shield and Matsu pulled him at her while she struck his face. The man fell down expecting her to use the shimmering saber while she looked up at Maya. "Thank you, now help me this armor is dangerous and how they are cracking them down. We'll confiscate it and handle it back on Vaynai." Matsu was working on it and removing the power cells from the knee compartment while she stripped it quickly. She could find a use for the energy shield on it.

Giving a way her own friend smile at the face that she was on this mission with a follow Silver jedi finding herself doing what she could with this armor that they now trying to get off this one. Finding herself waiting for own cue of after the power cell was pulled out to be able to work the armor off this one. Smiling all the while but also waiting for something else to take part just what would it be. She didn't know for sure until now. Finding with out a doubt that she was going to help her fellow sister through this getting this armor just maybe should be able to take something more out of this.

Then it came time for her to start pulling off a piece at a time one piece after another it was like a puzzle being taken apart one piece at a time. After what seem a while she took off what was needed.
