Private Into the Tombs: For Science!

The sands of Tash-Taral paled in comparison to Korriban. With Korriban there was history where the Sith survived and thrived the Dark Side thrums through the whole planet. It was bliss, it was eternity until the Jedi defeated the Sith on their home planet. While Tash-Taral was still a planet where there were plenty of Sith artifacts, it paled in comparison to Korriban. Darth Sorn walked through the hot desert in search for an hidden Holocron said to contain knowledge on how to influence the midi-chlorians in order to create life. It would be a boon to uncover this lost history and even learn for himself. Eternal life was something the Sith have been searching endlessly for even though some Sith throughout history had lived past their biological lifespan it wasn't same as their bodies became decrepit. No, only a few had came close to eternal life and Sorn was curious about midi-chlorian manipulation.

Darth Sorn's Armor

Armed with his light armor and his double bladed Lighsaber on his belt, Sorn approached a small town where he decided to take a break and quench his thirst first before setting out to find the Sith ruin. The Force will grant him victory this day he can feel it.

You know what we're looking for. Don't let others get in your way.

The dark voice whispered as it always did, ever guiding Isari on her path. Her lips thinned as she looked over the entrance of the tomb. Something dark lingered within. Not just the holocron though, something else. Something worse. Her eyes narrowed as she reached down to touch the blade her own dark spirit resided in. Whatever this was would be it's own challenge.

"Are you sure it's here?"

Yes. I can feel it.

Isari let out a sigh, obviously nervous. She wasn't that strong, not yet. This was certainly going to be a gamble, but if the First was right, well. It'd be worth it.

The force was telling Sorn something something powerful was nearby.

Or perhaps someone who was unusually strong with the force. Closing his eyes Sorn reached out trying to seek out this power source but it eluded him as though it did not want to be caught. A smirk formed on Sorn's face as the wind picked up, he placed his dark hood close to his head protecting him from the grains of sand that pelted his ebony face. Tash-Taral was warmer than Korriban but still the Dark Side presided within this planet beating to the rhythm of life. Perhaps The Sith Empire losing Korriban in embarrassing fashion was a good thing, there was still so much about this planet that hasn't been discovered. The Warlords of the Sith suck their claim on to this planet immediately after the fall of Korriban, when Sorn left the Empire he vowed to continue his research. Rediscover lost knowledge that the Jedi tried to corral for themselves and then integrate with his own.

When he was a child, Darth Sorn was obsessed with the meaning of life and how to preserve it. Ever since he saw his parents die from a wasting disease, Sorn sought out a way to prolong his own life and become immortal but it wasn't just to become immortal but also increase his power within the Dark Side in ways that has never been seen before. There were many form that the Dark Side has taken place, yet the Sith often chooses the barbaric and the basic. His research has lead him to believe that the Dark Side is pure unadulterated power that only the Sith has scratched the surface. The Sith were not butchers, they were architects who use their power to control and dominate. "The answer is through the midiclorians," He murmured using the force to guide him through the mini sandstorm.

Oh yes, the midiclorians, it was amazing how much power in the force has been contained into a tiny cell. Sorn had yet to master over them but he recent experiments show that he was getting close to achieving it. Through the sandstorm, Sorn saw a small village ahead perhaps it was time to seek shelter and even find what the force was telling him. Power is only gained if one seeks it not just wait for it like the Sith Empire did.

As much as she wanted to go in, she didn't. The young Sith stayed outside the entrance of the tomb, gazing over the various runes that were written on the outside. Warnings, naturally. Saying to avoid going in. Saying death awaited those who would disturb the dead. Nothing new to the Sith. And for some they actually listened to these warnings. Isari wasn't one of those people, but there was something to be learned from it regardless.

The contents of the tomb sometimes were hinted at in this warnings.

"What are you hiding.."

After hours of walking, Darth Sorn finally arrived at the Temple of the Dark Lords. Lost history was hidden beneath the tombs of the Sith Lords something that can advance his practice into dark magic. Recently, Sorn has been researching how the concept that he calls The magic bullet. Namely Sorn can infect certain microbes within the body to infect the host with a barrage of a disease of his choosing. There was no chemicals needed to infect the host just the Force. Normally when one inflicts a person with the Dark Side than its easily traceable by Jedi or even scientists. With a Magic Bullet Sorn can use the Force to manipulate nature into doing his bidding and without getting caught. Sorn just knew that the key to his research lies in the tombs somewhere.

Just then Sorn encountered a young woman standing in front of the entrance. She looked nervous and jumpy and Sorn sensed a substainal amount of the Dark Side within her. Was she fellow Sith? What was her purpose. "Hello," Sorn said. "Are you friend or foe? Answer quickly for I have I need to enter the tomb and I do not need any more..... interferences."

"Neither, or both. Which are you?" Isari turned her gaze towards the newcomer, eyes slightly narrowed. Slightly focused. Darth Sorn Darth Sorn wasn't someone she recognized. But there was a power there. She lowered her head gently, to show some respect to the stranger. He was strong, that's all that mattered. "I'd rather not be either myself."

Darth Sorn was a little irritated that the young woman danced around his question. He was almost tempted to douse her with Force Lightning so he can enter the tombs. However the Sith Sorcerer was curious about this woman, there was a great power slumbering beneath all of that fear he was sensing. Sorn was about to talk until the woman bowed as a sign of respect. "So you do know your place." he chuckled. "I am Darth Sorn, Dark Lord of the Sith I am aware that the Sith Empire has been destroyed but as long as one Sith still stands they carry the will of the Dark Side."

He stared at the entrance of the tomb. "I seek documents from the tombs of the Sith Lord." he said. "If you seek that same power than you are my ally, but if you don't well...."

Sorn sighed. "I ask again," he said. "Are you a friend? Or a foe?"
