The Intrepid Class - Heavy assault droid was designed in order to fill an increasing need for military personal as well as security staff in Intrepid's operations. The droid was favored for its large frame and bulky exterior that inspires fear and authority over the areas it oversees. Its duties tend to lead to endless patroling of hallways, protection of credit and mineral vaults, importation of slaves, shipyard overseers, and even shock troopers. The units can often be seen hassling those who wander too close to an Intrepid facility or quelling a nearby protest of arms dealing.
The droids are enforcers of Intrepid's interests and are generally undisturbed in this endeavor. They patrol the streets and bring terror and order wherever they tread. Metallic footsteps and mechanical wailing can be heard amongst them as they share orders or investigate alleys. Ravenous even finds them useful when he is in need of sola training, thus the electro staff-wielding capabilities.
