STRENGTHS
- Sleek Slicer: The hilt of the lightsaber has a slight, dark profile, covered in Reflec and Durinium. This means the weapon is easily concealed, and difficult to pick up on many kinds of sensors.
- Compressed Synthetic Crystal: Introspect's blade is thin and lithe, well-suited for a quick, precise style of combat.
- Force Imbuement- Precognition: Introspect’s crystal, created synthetically by Alicio himself, has taken on an affinity for Alicio’s own talent in Precognition. While not giving him any extra power, holding the weapon allows Alicio to focus on his visions more easily, giving him an edge when peaking into the future.
WEAKNESSES
- Force Reliance: When within the effect of a Force-Dampening Sphere, Introspect’s additional effects are suppressed.
- Under Pressure: The lightsaber crystal within the hilt was made imperfectly, created as a compressed crystal. While this does make the blade more maneuverable, it also makes it thinner and less powerful in general, losing it's ability to break other blades, and making it unsuitable for forms of combat relying on strength. While this would also usually make it poor at blocking blaster fire, it's precognitive assistance makes up for the deficiency.
- Bell and Whistle-less: Many of the extra tidbits that decorate lightsabers of the era are absent from Introspect.
DESCRIPTION
After discovering his own talents in the Force, Alicio felt a calling to create his own lightsaber from scratch. Using a bit of dirt from the homeworlds of his people in Sanctuary City, Alicio filled a geological compressor, and got to work forging his own Lightsaber Crystal. Complications in the creation process, spurred by sudden Force visions, created a compressed and uniquely-colored blade.
The hilt itself is a simple design, created from schematics of the past, with a few updates. Figuring he may have to smuggle it into a party one day, Alicio constructed the casing out of a durinium alloy, and covered the entire lightsaber in a black reflec coating, creating a stealthy, fashionable lightsaber hilt.
When the blue and black blade is activated, it growls, too deep for a blade of it's size.
