Strengths:
Extreme Armament: Hundreds of megamaser batteries pepper the exposed surfaces of this powerful battlecruiser, enough to tear through the hull of other ships in mere seconds after a barrage begins.
Extreme Shielding: Protecting itself and its inhabitants, the starship features three impressive layers of molecular shielding as well as a special 'Xythan force shield' that ensure that if one were to fall, another would take its place and so on and so forth.
Command Ship: The sheer size of the vessel, as well as the extensive systems that have been installed to coordinate Imperial operations in an entire oversector, designate it as a command ship, and it fits this role perfectly.
Invasion Force: Deep within the bowels of this vessel is an entire army waiting for deployment, including several dozen walkers and tanks as well as thousands of regulars, complimented by a task force of stormtroopers and the dropships needed to carry the Imperial War Machine.
Low Maneuverability - A ship of this size is not exactly designed to be able to complete a one hundred eighty degree turn in two minutes, and it can't. The manoeuvrability of this hulking beast is sub-par compared to ships of its class and smaller battlecruisers.
Very Low Speed: While several large ion drives are installed on the vessel, the sheer size of it makes it difficult to propel it through space, garnering it a 'Very Low' for a ship of its class. Compared to a standard star destroyer, the Admonitor-class can move the speed of a frail old man.
Command Ship: Even with the armament, even with the defences. This is a command ship, it is in no way meant to challenge fleets alone, which it cannot do anyway. It requires escorts, big and small, to cover its blind spots and assist it. Also, if this ship were to fall, it could destabilize any and all Imperial operations in the oversector, meaning it would make things easier for adversaries while the Navy attempts to re-establish command.
Reduced Hangar: In accordance with size restrictions as well as other limitations, the hangar isn't on par with other ships of the same size and class.
The INV Pellaeon was, at its completion, one of the most powerful vessels in the Galaxy. It served as the flagship of Tanomas Graf, of Lannis Morcus, and, finally, Carlyle Rausgeber. The centrepiece of the fleet, and the protector of the Imperial Throneworld. Although under the command of Graf's close friend, it is still in the grasps of the treasonous First Order, and a dangerous asset should the Confederation ever encounter it on the field of battle
Although that grand vessel may be forever lost, its design was safely secured and replicated before the onset of the Imperial Civil War. Featuring both the same amount of weapons and the same scale of defence as its predecessor, along with a few retrofits, the Admonitor-class line of ships is still a fearsome contender for naval supremacy despite the recent emergence of ten-kilometre star dreadnoughts.
Classified as a battlecruiser by the standards imposed by the Anaxes War College System, the ship is named a super star destroyer due to its distinctive dagger shape and its importance among the plethora of command ships that serve in the Imperial Navy. One of the first post-Pellaeon heavy destroyers, and the only dreadnought affiliated with the government over the military, the Malice is a prototype Admonitor under the command of the High Chancellor himself.
Still in line with tried-and-true designs, such as the doctrine of slow-moving, heavy-hitting starships that have become synonymous with Imperial battlecruisers and dreadnoughts, the Admonitor now features several new methods from the Mark Five and Mark Six initiatives, such as the replacement of turbolasers with megamasers and the addition of carbon-durasteel armour plating.
In a galaxy now without the First Order, the capacity for maliciousness and contempt commonplace in Imperial warships now lies in the Core Imperial Confederation.
