After the Sage Bane vs Des Kovak, came Sage Bane vs Zylah Dvale. I kind of lost too... Or was probably about to. Sorry.

Tacitanya, Catherine Soja, Travot Ravenna, Kaia Vullen vs. Darth Nephthys & Darth Carach

Pretty sure we lost this quite spectacularly: Catherine retreated, Tacitanya disappeared, Kaia was smashed against a wall and incapacitated (hopefully rescued by npc?), Travot fought some more, but was forced to retreat by the end of the invasion.

I never got to engage Vornskr. He seemed determined to move on past me and practically ignored me the entire time. I suppose as far as my duel with Vrag is concerned though, I'd say she won based on the content we were able to get before the thread's end, but I will say this and say it as delicately as I can.

I was absolutely thwarted at every turn, unable to land a single blow no matter what I tried to do, and Vrag seemed to possess a limitless threshold for resources to keep me on my heels and on the offensive so as to completely overwhelm. Perhaps I was unprepared, but the inability to land a single blow while taking hits as one typically does in a duel while also being nit picked and corrected the whole time by the other writer really smothers my excitement for the next takeover and stifles my experience in this one.

Nothing against Vrag's writer, who is very good at expressing the written word and presenting vast imagination, but I've never seen the character Vrag so much as take a hit. At least, from what all I've read, which is admittedly not an exorbitant amount. Either way, if I continue taking part in takeovers, which I probably will, I'm likely going to avoid encountering this character as I feel our encounter was unreasonable.

I was with [member="Kaia Vullen"]. I know I didn't stick around too long, but there was something in our opponents' posts about how they knew everything ahead of time and their Vong armor was invincible, etc.

I feel badly for disappearing on my crew, but I felt like my only options were to either press on and get maimed with no reward whatsoever, or simply back out. :/

Also yes, Vong gear is very difficult to fight and the Jedi Order should find good means of fighting them. Especially seeing as every Sith and his dog has an Amphistaff these days. Severe overstatement, but my point stands: There is a need for Anti-Vong equipment to be more available, especially now that we've seen it used in a direct attack on the GR.

So I know that fire works on crab armor, what do we use against amphistaves? Does fire still work there? Does anything else have an expressed weakness that we know about ic?

I'm not sure if this is always the case, but in my duel with Sage Bane, there appeared to be a link between the amphistaff and the Sith. It was lightsaber resistant, but when I smacked it on the head, it cried out in pain, as did Sage. Then again, the mental link might be due to the actual physical link, as they were attached to his arm... Not sure if still applies to "independent" amphistaves.

Perhaps we should take the discussion of Vong gear weaknesses to a new thread, so as to not disrupt [member="Kian Karr"]'s work? From there we might create some IC progress towards countering these weapons. I suppose the first step would be gathering and creating availability of information.

The verdict is in and Telti has been called as a One Sith victory.

We want to thank everyone who participated. As this was a purely PVP match, it took us a while to get through the matches and determine victors, but I would like to point out that it was a very close match.

What this means for the southern half of our territory, we can only guess. It is all in the hands of Tef when he updates the map.

Again, good job everyone! This was one of the most drama-free Invasions I've participated in and it was rather refreshing.
