Inverse Midichlorians

Aleidis Zrgaat

Young soul from an older generation.
Assume, for a moment, that your character was born a little different.

If they are a Force-user, how would they have developed without the Force in their lives? What would they be doing, what would their life be like?

If they are not a Force-User, what would their lives have been like if they were? What if they'd been picked up by recruiters or whatever, and become Padawans?

This is strictly a what-if sort of thread, because I'm kind of curious. If Aleidis hadn't been force-sensitive, she'd still be gathering herbs and hunting small game for her village on Datar, just like her parents. She wouldn't have any idea what the Galaxy was like outside of her primitive planet, and likely would have either lived out her whole life there or been picked up by slavers, as is a Ghostling's lot in life.

I'd be a child stuck in an unhappy household on Umbara ... But then I wouldn't have been tortured, almost killed several times, nor would I be a killer of Teddy-bears...

Without the Force Sio's nothing. Well, I guess her early life on that trivial backwater planet, Sith occupation and all that still develops the same way and I guess she winds up on Nar Shaddaa and winds up with a gang there. Maybe Adril still saves her life...but without the Force she's got no reason to take much of an interest in her. Beyond one night where Sio 'expresses her gratitude' at least!

Can't see her being anything more than a thug or common mercenary who winds up getting killed in this or that conflict. Guess she could wind up joining the Republic army and perhaps gets killed on Anaxes or Hapes. If she encounters @[member="Tegaea Alcori"] I very much doubt they develop the same relationship. Sio would just be another grunt, probably never gets further than Sergeant.

So, yeah, without the Force this Sio is the weakest of all her incarnations!

Hmm. Maybe not being able to rely on magic powers gives her an incentive to develop a brain. Maybe...but I'm inherently sceptical when it comes to her! But who knows, without Adril and later Tegs to rely on and hold her hand, she might end up not being a codependent whimp since she'd be forced to be independent and actually be self-reliant. Alternate versions in other settings have included a cyborg supersoldier and an anarchist revolutionary. But I admittedly just don't like this Sio!

Moira with force powers would be...interesting. Of course, it's quite likely that as soon as her powers manifest she gets burnt at the stake for being a 'daemon possessed witch' back on her homeworld! Yeah, Artam was a pleasant place to live on.

Assuming she manages to escape the Truthmen and still flee the planet as she did canonically, things would get interesting. Inadvertently falls to the dark side and gives up on what ideals she had a lot sooner. Figure she'd end up in the Sith Empire instead of the Republic. I see her being...very fond of Drain Knowledge. The big question is whether she still gets processed, since to the canonical Moira that happened after Contruum. And whether Velok/@[member="Kära Vi'dreya"] are still around as Sith.

If, yes, the results would be...delightful.

1) Probably wouldn't exist LOLOLOL

2) Would have most likely stayed on Dathomir or just became a normal person working on Coruscant or another bustling planet. Though chances of meeting the people she has met would have been slim. I doubt the Former Empress of the Sith wanders into a coffee shop on a daily basis :p

Alen would be a bitter older smuggler, with a wise head for the game. I see him as being a bit like an older Han Solo, only without his redeeming heart. A darker Han, then.

I'd... be more than likely willing to force choke @[member="Noxu Za'tire"] all the time.

Yeah... I'm already a danger (no pun intended) as a non force user. As a Force user... I'd be that sith wench all too willing to use all kinds of force powers to make an example.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra would be in a slum, dead or worse on Correllia, parentless and without anyone caring as she lay there.

Yusan would have never been able to take revenge on his mother's killer and died trying to kill the killer.

Arthur would be dead from his escapades or worse yet without the ability to truly explore with the aid of his innate force powers become a murdering psychopath like his family.
