Investment

[member="Mrrew"]

The Beast Hunters Guild provided a unique service to the Galaxy. They collected all manner of animals and what not, and delivered them. This made Jeff VERY interested in them. There had to be some animals out there made to hunt down Sith, and disable them. Plus he did need something to deal with his problem of the Tusken Raiders. So here he was, about to invest in their guild on their world. With him were thirty EE Droids, two annihilator droids, and of course several support droids. For he was not stupid enough to be unprepared.

Mrrew was greatly suprised when [member="Jeff Solaris"] and his practical army of droids appeared on the large freighter that served as the Headquarters of the Beast Hunter's Guild. He had been expecting an investor, yes. But an investor trailing an army? For a second, he thought he was being attacked by pirates. Plus this droid looked familiar... He was pretty sure he'd just purchased some stock in his company over the Holonet. Interesting how things like that works.

The Togorian made his way to the enteranceway of the ship on the lower level, in order to greet hispotential new buisness partner. This could be interesting.

"Solaris, I suppose?

"Yes. Sorry for the security measures. But until I'm fully trained to wield a certain weapon, I must take every precaution I can. Plus this small army is a bit of what you paid for when you purchased some stock. This small group will be your personal gift from me." This was said by Jeff with a smile in his optics, as his face could not smile. Later he'd look into a holo mask to make him appear more human, but not yet. "I would like to purchase some of the stock in your company, and invest in it. So would you be interested in my investing in your company? I'm also going to soon be requiring a large number of beasts that thrive in extreme heat, such as Tatooine."

Well this was suprising. Not only was he going to get a good amount of war droids- not that he'd really need them, but they could be useful- for free, the owner of a budding company wanted to invest. Interesting. Very interesting. The Togorian glanced over the array of droids for a few moments, before replying; choosing his words carefully, and doing his best to sound like a buisnessman.

"The Beast Hunter's Guild would be honoured to do buisness with you concerning investments into the company... And if you were to buy stock, you would recieve a discount in any animals purchased through the guild. Of course, it would be easy to arrange the capture of desert animals. Tuk'atas, Greater Krayts, and Terentateks come to mind."

[member="Jeff Solaris"]

"Do any of those animals have a hatred for Dark Side Force Users or Tusken Raiders?"

This was asked by Jeff, because he had thought about the dark side users being a pain in his rear lately. Plus the Tuskens were too close for comfort, and he needed to make them move away. "How much would 20% of the stock cost? I will also be willing to arrange to produce mechanical creatures, should you wish to sell some of those soon enough. Do you have any idea of the creatures that are harder to obtain?"

[member="Jeff Solaris"] was suprisingly blunt, and straightforward. He would have to make note of that. He also wanted to purchase a very large chunk of stock... 20% of the company was no joking matter, nor would it be cheap. He'd have to make some caulculations for how many shares that would be, and how expensive each share deserved to be... The other questions, though, he could awnser right away.

"I would have to consider stock prices... As far as creatures that have a hatred for the Dark side? That's... complicated. A hatred for force users, I could prehaps arrange. But specifically the darkside? That would be difficult. And yes, I make it my buisness to be an expert of animals 'hard to obtain'."

"As far as the mechanical beasts, though, the Guild has no factories, and does not manufacture droids. We capture beasts and monsters, we don't make them."

(Ask Makkik. >_>)

"Very well. I'll give you time to consider how much the stock would be worth. But I do have an idea that might have suitable value. Suvian will assist in your hunts, by supplying gear to your hunters. This gear will include the Annihilator, the EE Battle Droids, and various other pieces of technology possessed by my company. I believe that should be worth at least some of the price of 20% of the stock of your company. After all your hunters endanger themselves, but perhaps they could use the help. The self driving speeders might also come in handy for your hunters."

Jeff paused, and waited. It was time to allow this individual to respond. For his investment had to succeed. Suvian could use the business and a lot of other forms of business. This would make his life a lot easier, having the help of the Beast Hunters Guild.

Mrrew frowned slightly,. Droids were not very good at handling the enviroments that Big Game Hunters are put into, and tehyd' easil get torn apart by most beasts- even extremely well built droids. The thought of the self driving speeders was tempting, though... And if they could build something like that... what where the chances of them making custom technologies?

"I would think Three Million credits for 20% of a company with such a chance of growing as the Guild is perfectly fair. The Guild would also like to inquire about the possibilty of contracts for custom technology...?"

[member="Jeff Solaris"]

"There are possibilities for contracts yes. In fact, since you bought some of the stock I'll even give you a discount. Your first few contracts will only cost 500,000 credits each. " This was spoken by Jeff in a no-nonsense type of way as he liked the way this person did business. 3 Million credits would be difficult, but not impossible to obtain. "The Beast Hunters Guild will soon be provided a variant of the self driving speeder made to handle wild animals. I'm currently planning out the specifics, but should you want any particular weapons on the armored hover vehicle let me know. Such a device will cost roughly 75,000 credits once finished. "

These prices were.... pricey. But they were managable. Perfectly managable if he got what he thought he could get out of all of this. 500,000 credits per contract was slightly ridiculous, but if they were well designed... But 75,000 for a speeder? That was the kind of prices you'd expect from Corusaunt. The Togorian sighed. More then likely the contracts [member="Jeff Solaris"] gave for beast hutning would pay for all of this, anyway, if he was planning on ordering things like Krayt Dragons... So the Togorian nodded slowly.

"Your basic Self-driving speeder will work fine... no need for weaponry, or heavy armor. It's just a transport... right? And as for the stock; once the money is taken from your account we'll sign papers, and you'll be a shareholder of the Beast Hunter's Guild."

"It is just a transport. So how many self driving speeders do you want?"

This was asked by Jeff so he knew how many Makkik would have to make. They did need to make more of them anyway, and a contract with the beast hunters guild would be the logical next step up. They needed more credits, a lot more. Granted he had considered ordering a Krayt Dragon, but decided against it. It would be too expensive. "Alright, it will take me a bit to get the money together, but I'll have it."

(I apologize for the late reply, computer died, and I can only check the forums once a day or ever few days)

Mrrew smiled, and responded after a moment's thought. "Ten will do fine." After another moemnt, the Togorian raised a finger and spoke again. "But would it be possible to make a larger one... For..." Mrrew gestured down at his large frame, which obviously would not well fit on a convential speeder.

(Btw, [member="Jeff Solaris"], the normal M11 speeders are produced by your factory(ies), Makkik dosen't amke each one made to roder, just the prototype. :p The larger armored one, though, he will need to)

[member="Jeff Solaris"]

"Yes, I do believe I could convince my builder to build one for you that is made to order." said Jeff, thinking about it. "And a few others while he's at it for some of your hunters." Jeff paused for a moment considering something. This company was certainly not prompt, although he could understand it took them time to find the beasts he wanted, the togru'ta puppies. Still, he expected them to be delivered soon. Jeff then said. "So 10 regular M-11 speeders would come to roughly.... 100,000 credits. As for the customized one, we'll say 50,000 credits because of parts and labor. However, I'm willing to make an exchange. You can take that money off of what I owe you for the stocks so far and we'll call it even."

The Togorian paused for a moment, before nodding.

"2,950,00 credits and a customized self-driving speeder, armored, for 20% stock. Fair enough. As for that custom order of technology, though... I looked into all your produts before I bought stock. You have miniturized tractor beam technology, yes? Would it be possible to make that stronger... And add a motiion trigger, or a pressure trigger? Make it strong enough for, say, capturing Rancors?"

[member="Jeff Solaris"] (Say yes, I already have ideas for how Makkik will do it. LOL)

"I am certain it is indeed possible. For I do already plan on the inventor of it making a more potent version for my own personal use, but I could see him making one to contain a rancor, or a tank. So yes, the creation of such a device is feasible. " This was said by Jeff with no intent to deceive, as he knew that Makkik could build a more powerful version of the prototypes. The prototypes had been interesting enough to see. A custom weapon could later be built by Makkik and some others for Jeff, but that would come later down the line. Jeff paused for a moment. "So how long do I have to wait on the puppies?"

Mrrew nodded after hearing that the inventions were possible, only to frown deeply at the mention of his Tuk'ata (not togr'uta, that's something else) order.

"The guild is extremely backed up on orders. We're doing out best to keep up with them, and hunters are being dispatched daily to fill them. Your order will be fufilled as soon as possible, with refunds if it should arrive late, of course."
