Appearance: Iona is an attractive woman, approximately 1.7m tall with a slim, lean frame. She has short, auburn hair held back by a custom headband that keeps her hair from defects, even when donning the iconic T-visor helmet. Iona has a small amount of freckles across the bridge of her nose. Odion often affectionately says that her green eyes would make the stars jealous of their beauty.
Personality: Iona is a bold, confident woman and a fierce warrior who fights alongside her male counterparts. She is competent and surges through even at the most trying of times with a clear head. Though open-minded, she is unwavering in her loyalties to the point of being headstrong. Though unhappy with Odion's decision to leave Mandalore, her first loyalty was to her family. She is highly intelligent and shares her husband's lust for adventure.
In her time living in relative isolation on Dubrava with Odion, she has come to mellow down considerably. The edge in her behavior no longer exists, and she has become more social, befriending many of those withing their neighboring villages. Iona has grown to appreciate their quaint lifestyle, though she often yearns for more.

Skills: Iona is highly proficient at personal flight utilizing a jetpack. Tales of her expertise with a blaster pistol have circulated among the warriors of Mandalore, but her skills have diminished since relocating to Dubrava. Her survival skills far surpass those of Odion, and have served as the origin of her interest in the culinary arts. She is well regarded among the Mandalorian warfighter community as one of the greatest female warriors to have graced their battle lines.

History: Born to a lower middle-class family on Concord Dawn, Iona was bred for greatness. Her parents pushed her, almost too hard, to excel in everything set before her. They recognized that even though the galaxy might deny it, men were generally treated as superior to their female counterparts. Iona would have to fight twice as hard to earn the same status and respect. Despite the odds being against her, combined with her parents' support and a little luck, her enlistment into the Mandalorian Protectors was accepted, and she was selected to train among the finest warriors Mandalore could muster. Little did she know, she would find more than just an internal tenacity.
Her peers in training, predominately men, all looked down on her as if she was a burden to their training platoon. There was one though, that saw her not as a female or as a burden, but as a vod. That man was Odion Kryze. They became partners in training, accomplishing all assigned tasks in record time. Their performance was nothing short of extraordinary, and their drill instructor let them know of it by piling on the extra duty. Somehow though, Iona didn't hate it. The menial labor, the deliberate selection, she actually welcomed it; Odion was with her every step of the way.
They were more than compatriots through Mandalorian blood, they had chemistry. From that chemistry, a beautiful friendship was born. After graduation, they stayed connected despite being assigned to different units for a year. Voice conferences, holo calls, the occasional visit on leave. It was becoming clear to them that they were more than friends - they had found themselves trapped in love. Neither had a qualm with the ensuing events, with the pair eventually marrying discreetly. Upon completion of their service with the Mandalorian Protectors, they liquidated their assets on Mandalore to pursue a quaint life together on the system of Dubrava, where they bought a floating cabin on the waters of the Pacifid Marshlands.
Their paramilitary partnership had made their relationship strong, and their relative isolation and separation from the politics of the galaxy had made it stronger than ever. However, with the tragic fall of Mandalore and the self-imposed exile of the Mand'alor, the couple felt something. They didn't know if it was the need to indirectly support recovery operations through donating, or to leave their perfect lifestyle for their next adventure. With word coming through the Mandalorian grapevine of a group called the Aka'liit assembling on Dxun, they felt compelled to answer the call. For they were not just faithful to each other, but faithful to their motherland.
And so it was decided - Odion and Iona Kryze would close their cabin on Dubrava and set forth to join the Mandalorian Faithful.
