STANDARD FEATURES
The Imperial Revenant TIE/as Starfighter is fitted with modern software and hardware up to technological standards of the time, with comparable analogs to other standard systems used in starfighters like it. Its systems are easily updated to match improvements made in the future.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
The Imperial Revenant-Series Twin Ion Engine production line was designed and manufactured by Revenant State Industrial, intended to highly resemble the Galactic Empire of old. The symbolism of the TIE was refurbished and updated, but as the Revenant is meant to be the haven of the Imperial Lifestyle, its aesthetic choices needed to represent the New Order as well. With classical cockpit design also came necessary improvements to visibility, using one way view panels to the sides and rear as well as view screens to provide a pilot with a more comprehensive, less obscured view of space.
Unlike its ancient predecessors it features a built-in deflector shield, updated drive units, weapons, and software to put it on par with modern X-Wings and starfighters. Unlike most TIE variants of the series, this one does not feature a Hyperdrive. Its role to provide air cover to ground forces determined that it did not require the same independence of the other models. Minor stealth systems like drive bafflers, sensor-reducing hull coatings, degaussing, and other systems have been included in the design to allow squadrons of TIE’s to approach a system or ship undetected until they reach engagement ranges if they fly quiet. Usually, this requires them keep their weapons and shields powered down, of course they are still visible and so at a certain point it doesn’t prevent detection or notice.
The TIE/as Atmospheric Fighter, or TIE Striker, is a variant of the original TIE/ln variant that features adjustable solar panels to maximize maneuverability in a planet’s atmosphere rather than the fixed wing version that the Revenant makes use of in space. This Flight III version was instead designed with additional maneuvering equipment such as adjustable wings, directional thrusters, canards, and a more precise avionics computer to assist with obtaining air superiority over a planet based installation. It has been said to be sluggish in space by pilots, and some claim it is vulnerable while entering atmosphere. While it features life support systems, these are intentionally minimalistic, as the pilots normally still wear the iconic life supporting suits. Instead it is intended to be used in emergencies, so that a pilot is not incapacitated should their suit sustain damage.
The TIE/as is armed identically with the TIE/ln, sporting a pair of Laser Cannons on the chin of the cockpit module and a pair of warhead launchers on the sides of the cockpit module. The magazines for these, located in the struts connecting the cockpit to the solar panels, are secured in individual containment fields and armed upon entering the launch chamber to prevent accidental detonation.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
- Much like many modernized ships, the TIE/as is able to use a stealth suite to minimize its sensor signature and allow it to float unnoticed through space. When not participating in combat with shields and weapons powered down, the fighter can limit its signature allowing it to remain undetected, especially from enemy starfighter grade sensors and long ranges.
- Jack of All: The LN can do it all, dogfight, make runs on capital ships, and act as a fighter screen for friendly vessels.
- Atmosphere Specialist: The TIE/as is specialized to fight in atmosphere, handling better than most other non-specialized craft in various atmospheres across the galaxy.
- Stealth Mode: The fighter can limit is sensor signature and fly unnoticed from enemy sensors when not participating in direct combat.
- Master of None: The LN isn’t great at anything. It fills its role fine as a line fighter and standard snubfighter, but doesn’t do anything exceptionally.
- No Hyperdrive: In order to conserve space for its engines and maneuvering systems for atmospheric use, the Striker had to remove the Hyperdrive requiring the craft to be ferried from system to system.
- Quiet: Using its stealth systems requires its shields and weapons to be powered down, and at dogfighting ranges as it is still visible to the eye. Some dedicated sensor ships will likely detect them regardless as they approach.
