STANDARD FEATURES
The Revenant TIE/sb Bomber is fitted with modern software and hardware up to technological standards of the time, with comparable analogs to other standard systems used in bombers like it. Its systems are easily updated to match improvements made in the future.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
The Imperial Revenant-Series Twin Ion Engine production line was designed and manufactured by Revenant State Industrial, intended to highly resemble the Galactic Empire of old. The symbolism of the TIE was refurbished and updated, but as the Revenant is meant to be the haven of the Imperial Lifestyle, its aesthetic choices needed to represent the New Order as well. With classical cockpit design also came necessary improvements to visibility, using one way view panels to the sides and rear as well as view screens to provide a pilot with a more comprehensive, less obscured view of space.
Unlike its ancient predecessors it features a built-in hyperdrive and deflector shield, updated drive units, weapons, and software to put it on par with modern bombers such as the Y-Wing. Minor stealth systems like drive bafflers, sensor-reducing hull coatings, degaussing, and other systems have been included in the design to allow squadrons of TIE’s to approach a system or ship undetected until they reach engagement ranges if they fly quiet. Usually, this requires the fighter to keep its weapons and shields powered down, of course they are still visible and so at a certain point it doesn’t prevent detection or notice.
The TIE/sb, TIE Strategic Bomber is the Revenant’s primary bomber model attack craft. While named as a strategic bomber, the TIE/sb is capable of performing as a tactical bomber and penetrator as well given its powerful design and high versatility in its ordnance. With slanted, adjustable solar panels, the bomber has been aerodynamically designed to perform equally well in atmosphere and space. Beneath the primary cockpit array are two eight ton ordnance pods, each capable of carrying different types of warheads and bombs for its mission. Each one is able to hold either guided or unguided weaponry, consisting of either eight missiles, six torpedoes, four anti-capital ship rockets, three mines, or two heavy bombs. Normally, depending on the role it is required to fill for a mission, it will carry three or four types of munitions.
For its other weaponry, the updated TIE makes use of a dual laser cannon mounted on the chin of the cockpit module controlled by the pilot. These cannons are intended to be secondary weapons for the craft to defend itself with rather than primary weapons. Secondly it has a dual ion cannon/laser cannon turret mounted on the dorsal facing of the bomber to ward off pursuit and shoot down enemy interceptors and fighter screens.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
- Much like many modernized ships, the TIE/sb is able to use a stealth suite to minimize its sensor signature and allow it to float unnoticed through space. When not participating in combat with shields and weapons powered down, the fighter can limit its signature allowing it to remain undetected, especially from enemy starfighter grade sensors and long ranges.
- Boom: Heavy ordnance from TIE bomber units are designed to hammer enemy installations and capital ships, making it perfect for destroying and disabling large craft such as Star Destroyers and Battlecruisers.
- Stealth Mode: The fighter can limit is sensor signature and fly unnoticed from enemy sensors when not participating in direct combat.
- Sluggish: Brickishness in terms of speed and maneuverability require the Bomber to be escorted or have the space around its target cleared before it makes a run on a target.
- Quiet: Using its stealth systems requires its shields and weapons to be powered down, and at dogfighting ranges as it is still visible to the eye. Some dedicated sensor ships will likely detect them regardless as they approach.
