When the Ironsides broke ties with their Antarian Ranger roots, it was decided that they would be putting together their own armaments in the future rather than rely on some other company or faction for equipment. Designing each weapon themselves, thought was put into under which circumstances said weapon would be used, a high level of modularity, and achieving maximum firepower. Considering there were only twelve of them, that last part became especially crucial, hence all weapons used by the Ironsides pack a serious punch.
The Warmace is a beast of a combat shotgun, capable of blasting its way through even the most stubborn of defences and, to an ever greater extent, defenders. Designed to put out as much devastation in the shortest amount of time possible, it holds four barrels instead of one or two, hence its increased size and weight when compared to other models in its class. Just like its ancient namesake, it is a blunt instrument of pain meant to pulverise particularly dogged opposition, or simply clear out an entire room in just a couple of shots.
