STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

+Steady - Irri is a steady, calming presence, both while under pressure and while not.

+Dependable - Any task you give her, it will be done to the best of her ability. She’s always on time and perfectly prepared. If ever she’s not, something has gone horribly, irretrievably wrong.

+Blasters/Rifles - Having CorSec officers for a mother and stepfather afforded Irri the ability to learn to wield various blasters and rifles from a very young age. She is an impeccable marksman.

+/- Unique Physiology - Her father was a near-Human water-dwelling species, which Irri has figured out on her own. She is able to breathe underwater and withstand the pressure/temperature of significant depths without mechanical aid. Unfortunately, it means she also needs to spend considerable amounts of time within the element itself to maintain her health and well-being. Salt water is preferable, fresh water will do but only in the short term. If she is deprived of it for long, she will fall ill - the longer the deprivation, the worse her condition will become until she will eventually lapse into a coma and die.

+/- Curiosity - As much as feline species are supposedly curious, Irri possesses a deep, unquenchable curiosity. It can be an asset in some aspects, such as when it comes to academics and research pursuits. But it can also be a detriment, as she cannot simply let things go easily.

-Family - Irri loves her mother, stepfather, and little twin step-sisters. And while she does draw strength from them, the negative possibility is much greater. She becomes irrational, unstable, and instantly violent if anything ever happens to them, especially so with the little ones.

APPEARANCE

Irridia is possessed of a leanly muscled figure that doesn’t carry an extra ounce of fat anywhere (and yes, I do eat whatever the hell I want, feel free to hate me). Spending her time primarily on dry land, she tends to dress very casually. Denim, leggings, tunics, t-shirts, and occasionally, a man’s white dress shirt. On missions and any official business, she will dress accordingly and always have her hair neatly pinned back. When in the water, however, significant changes to her appearance occur - her waist-length hair darkens to a deeper shade of chestnut shot through with thick streaks of silver; her skin, normally a light tan, takes on a silvery-blue tint that darkens at her fingertips and toes. The longer she remains in the water, the longer the effects will last when she finally leaves it, with the effects fading in anywhere from a couple of hours to an entire day.

BIOGRAPHY

What? You want...you want me to talk about my past? Uhh..ok...I guess. I mean, if you need it for your records...oh...you do...alright then.

I was born on Corellia just over twenty one years ago. My mom, Teema, is a high ranking CorSec officer. Back when I was born, though, she was just starting out. She never told me who my dad was, or even what my dad was, but to be honest, I don’t think she knew much about him. I think it was a one-night stand gone wrong, but...anyway. It doesn’t matter. I know she loves me, and my stepdad is the best dad a girl could ask for. She married him when I was five (he’s also in CorSec - that’s how they met) and a few years later, she had my twin sisters Hanna and Nisha. Oh my gosh, they’re the sweetest little things in the world...I’d do anything for them.

I hope you’re not waiting for a terrible-childhood-drama-and-trauma kind of story, since that’s just not true. I had a great childhood. We weren’t rich, but we lived ok, in a comfy cottage on the beach that’s been in my stepdad’s family for years. I did okay in school, but I did better with weapons and I think mom and dad were hoping I’d follow them into CorSec. I wanted to...had every intention of it, but then, my little water ball trick got noticed by someone who recognized it for what it was - a Force ability. I’d always been able to create spheres of swirling water between my outstretched fingers, and I did it pretty often. Used it to quiet my little sisters when they weren’t feeling good, or to get them to sleep at night. I always thought it was something I got from whoever my dad was.

Nope, turns out I have the ability to wield the Force. Kinda cool and kinda scary all at once. Mom and dad were nervous about it, but since I was already sixteen, they let me go. I headed to Coruscant, and the Jedi Temple there, but (and here’s where the drama kicks in, for those of you skimming through this report) I never made it. I was on a transport that was ambushed by the Sith, who were looking to steal the shipment of crystals also aboard. Surprisingly, the left almost everyone alive, save for the two guards. They took the crystals, and when one of them got a look at me, they took me too.

I was their prisoner for almost...four years. I resisted their training and their conversion attempts, and instead of killing me, they kept me as a pet. If I behaved, I got to eat and sleep on a soft blanket, albeit collared and chained to the floor in a tiny room. If I didn’t, if I resisted giving them whatever they wanted of me, then I got to spend days at a time suspended in the dungeon and beaten. It was so cold, and taunted me with water at every opportunity.

Until, that is, the day I didn't wake up when they kicked open my door. As much as they had calculated how long I could have water withheld, they had made a grave mistake. I'd done my best to cling to what little sparks of the Force I could feel and it had helped, but my body eventually gave out. They dumped me by the side of the road on whatever backwater planet they had held me on. Someone took pity on me and got me to a medcenter, where they cared for me until I was well enough to be discharged.

I went home for a bit, spending every moment I could in the ocean, when I wasn't with my family. It was...it was what I needed for a few months.

But the Force didn't go dormant, in fact, it got more insistent that I -do- something. So I packed a few necessities and came to Silver Jedi space...it...felt right. Still does, and it's the first place aside from home that I've ever been...content.
