Is Batuu on the map?

I'm trying to located Batuu on the Chaos map to see if it's a good place to house a character, but can't seem to find it. Per Wookieepedia, it should be in the Outer Rim somewhere, in the Trilon sector. If it's on the map, can someone give me a visual clue (like "It's to the left of the U in Outer")?

Bat Rum Hilt I'll also mention that Batuu is currently the home of the Smugglers' Alliance, a subfaction within the Eternal Empire. We're still small, but working on growing! We host smuggler and pirate-based roleplay in the region, and would be glad to have you!

Thanks Lorne Kantera ! I was actually looking on behalf of different character, I just forgot to switch accounts before posting. It does sound like a good place for a pirate to find some action though, so I may turn up once I finish some of my existing stories!

Just to let you know -- there's a convenient search tool on the map. Click on the little arrow on the top left of the screen and it'll open up with a few helpful tools, one of which is the search bar. Just type in the name of the planet you're looking for, and it'll bring it up! Remember to spell it correctly; Star Wars names are funky.

Why does everyone always want to go back to Batuu?

I don't necessarily, I wanted to see who (if anyone) controlled it to see if it was a good place to land a different character.

I think it's a fine place to want to go haha. But, that hex is currently neutral space. It's not "owned" by any major faction. Regardless, any number of minor factions, sub-factions, individuals, etc - Are able to use any hex they please. You can write on any planet you wish. You'd be welcome to have a history there, set up shop there, or do anything that floats your boat. Have fun!

This is possible - But does it have any bearing on his question? Regardless who "owns" the hex he can still write and craft in that hex as he pleases.
