Is it frowned upon...

As a guy with three characters now, I have a question.

Is it frowned upon to have your characters roleplay with one another and become enemies, or something of the like?

I mean, one of my characters, [member="Evan Kenner"], is a jedi padawan. Another, [member="Mullarus"], a Sith Acolyte. The last, [member="Vaak Lest"], a mercenary. If, for example, Evan and Mullarus one day met in the field and fought, would the entire community shun me as a bad roleplayer because the only good conflicts I can make are ones I have complete control of?

Ehh no not really. Just don't abuse it and have it be for a restricted item challenge. Some members have done a thread between two of their characters by themselves. One even did a hardcore fight between his sith master and knight [member="Jacen Cavill"].

It's not frowned upon, but in a way defeats the purpose of Roleplaying in a community... As long as others have a shot to fill roles like that then go for it!

I would frown upon anyone frowning upon rping with yourself. Instead of rping you're basically just book writing and if anyone frowns upon book writing well then I would just ignore them. It takes practice to rp with others and even those of us that have been doing it for years aren't always so great at it, so don't beat yourself up. The point is to have fun yea?

its frowned apon if you are doing this with the intent of giving one of your other characters a item. Ex: if i let my sith [member="Nulgath Zardai"] kill my mando [member="Shiro De'Vol"] so the victor gets the Beskar. That would be frowned on.

But besides trying to cheat the system rping with two characters that you have made is fine.

I do it often makes solo story threads fun for me xD.

Yeah, THAT sounds unfair. I wouldnt do that. It would make obtaining the item too easy, and it wouldnt feel as special.
