Private Is this Hello or Goodbye?

Wandering around the SJC, Yuroic looked a lot lost as he backtracked and mumbled to himself. He knew the area like the back of his hand, or at least he thought he did but he might be thinking of the Kashyyyk temple layout. He was walking forward when he spotted a small woman, carrying a large bag and looking very familiar. He followed her for a bit, lost and figured that she might be able to help him find where his home is. Because the place he woke up in was not his home, was filled with strangers too trying to claim it was his home. So he escaped and decided he would find his way home, however, he got lost and now feeling a little more confused than usual.

Why was this woman's face so familiar? He couldn't shake the feeling he knew this person and that they were doing something troubling, or at least he partly felt that way. Yuroic tried to catch up with the woman, but she seemed to be storming off in a direction, clearly she knew her way around. They were close to the hangar when he caught up with her, tapping her shoulder. He was panting a little, clearly the speed walking to keep up was more exercise than he had been use to for awhile.

"Hi, K... Ky.... Kyra?" He asked as the name floated in his mind for a brief moment. "Do you know where I live? Think I am lost? Are you leaving?" He asked, wanting to ask the string of questions before he forgot them.

Kyra Perl Kyra Perl

Kyra walked with determined steps down to the landing pad. A bag slung over her shoulders, carrying all the worldly possessions she'd be living off of for.... well. Until she got Nida back. ...Hopefully a week...?

Her thoughts were on the future-- on how she could find Thirdas or what she'd say to him once she finally did. He wasn't allowed to shove her off this time. She had chopped off her arm for him for force sake. She walked with such impassioned steps, she nearly didn't hear the voice calling her. She double took on her old mentor, a face she had admittedly been avoiding since the announced decline of his health. Perhaps it was cowardly of her, but it freaked her own.

That and she couldn't help but think about their fight the night she came back with Cenric. ...Things never felt right after that. She wondered if his unusual aggression had been a sign of the illness before it was known. The glint of her metal arm caught her eye. ... Or maybe he was just desperate to have a lesson sink into her. Force knows she was always so bad at that.

"Master Yuroic?" She breathed, shock in her tone. His words made her heart heart. She winced, unconsciously taking a step back and tilitng her shoulder to hide her bag. "What are you doing out here? SHouldn't you be in the Halls of Healing?"

Shaking his head, this wasn't right, no. No, something was wrong but what? His eyes looked around the room, what was this room? Hangar room? Why was he here? He then looked at Kyra as she looked at him with concern. "Hall of Healing? No, healers... Healers... They are not healing. I am lost though." Yuroic paused as he felt a little puzzled by things, Kyra didn't answer him did she? "What are you doing here?" He turned that question onto her.

Yuroic sat down on the floor, looking up at Kyra, he noticed her metal arm then lift his own metal arm and looked at it. "Did I tell you how I lost this arm? Was before SJO was based on Kashyyyk, I was either a Padawan or just made Knight. Mirial was a bad day in SJO history." Yuroic talked as he seemed to be more clearer minded than he had been a moment ago, though he seemed lost in memories. "Sith cut my arm, left me for dead, lost my Master that day as well. My life never felt the same after that day, I had been so dedicated to the Jedi but after that day, everything seemed more grey. Less clear. Also, getting an robotic arm is very painful too."

Kyra Perl Kyra Perl

Kyra glanced once over her shoulder, her gaze falling to the ship she was moving towards. It was her ship, actually. And what she was doing, she didn't think he'd approve of. Kyra cleared her throat, adjusting her bag better over her shoulder.

"It's not attached," she grumbled, a fact which was causing some trouble in her adapting to the new device. She just couldn't live with the thought of the thing being grafted to her. She wouldn't be part machine. Even if it came at a price.

He had told her about his arm before, a fact he now forgot. She squirmed in place, not fully looking up at him. Kyra was never sure how to talk to the sick or ailed. One might even say she looked uncomfortable. She shot her ship another glance, anxious to get going.

"Um. You said you're lost? I can find someone to lead you back there."

Tilting his head, he was oblivious to her wanting to leave, instead he focused on her arm. "I was reluctant to have a new arm, it isn't the same and I wanted to be reminded of my failures, of the failures I saw in my teachers. Even though it was just me hating myself. I pushed everyone I loved away, hid away and refused help. But that was me, sure you pestering your friends all the time." He went quiet for a bit then looked at her again, "lost? No, I know where I am! Don't need a child showing me around!" His eyes were unfocused now, but angry as if what she had said offended him. "I know where I am, this is the hangar, I know where I am. Not some child lost. I know where I am." His thoughts fixated on knowing where he was, he was forgetting what he was talking about or whom he was talking to.

"Now, now... What were we talking about? Where are you going? Are you leaving already Asaraa? I have barely seen you around lately." Yuroic stated as he looked at Kyra, then paused and shook his head. "No, no... not Asaraa... Dreidi? No, Nitya... No... K.... K... Kyra! Yes, Kyra, where are you going? Barely talked to you of late, how is your training going?" Yuroic asked, with a big smile, pleased that he remembered her name, completely forgetting that he lost his temper with her just a moment ago.

He just stood there, smiling with his eyes showing a little focus in them.

Kyra took a step back, flushing red with discomfort. She didn't like dealing with the ill. She just didn't get it how to act, not like Nida did. Her sister was such a natural at dealing with the messy and discombobulated. She could stare down a gunshot would without flinching, her expression calm and collected.

Kyra didn't resemble her in the slightest. She wished she did.

A serious of discombobulated noises fell from her in an unconfident slur, the girl trying and failing to find her words. What was she doing here? Well she was going to rescue her sister. His expression split into a dopy smile, barely any of that sharpness to the gaze that use to cut through her. She didn't recognize her old mentor as he babbled. He might look the same. He might still be standing before her, whole. But he was just as lost as Nida and all that came after her.

Pain gripped Kyra's chest. With no warning, she burst forward, shoving past him and running away.

Quickly.

Tears blurred down her face as she broke for the ship she would escape on.

She didn't have time for this.

He was lost, but there was one person that wasn't. Not yet anyway. It was time to save Nida Perl Nida Perl .

The girl seemed torn, unsure what to do then clarity came and she turned leaving him alone in the hangar. Yuroic watched her go, he didn't try to stop her, perhaps he should but the focus in her eyes. It was one he had, determination to find someone you love, someone that acts as your balance. He sat down and remembered when he rushed off finding Jairdain when she got captured by Sith. He got lost, trapped on some backwater world but he found his way out and he found his way to Jairdain. He was sure that Kyra would find her way back.

This was a rare moment of clarity for the Jedi Master, he knew what was happening to him. Though he was still scared at how much it was affecting him and his relationships, using the Force he messaged Kyra, wishing her well and that he will talk to her again when she returns home. Yuroic then sighed as his eyes slowly glazed over again.

The clarity gone as he looked around lost and confused once again.
