Born on a cold winter's night in the shadowed strongholds of the Krull Clan, Isla came into the world amidst treachery, secrecy, and war. The child of two powerful Force users - Virginia Varnell and Lorn Reingard - Isla was conceived in a moment of love, but born into a world of lies. Her mother, promised in marriage to the Krull heir to cement a fragile peace, kept the truth of Isla's parentage hidden, even from Lorn himself. To the world, Isla was a Krull. To Virginia, she was a lifeline. And to Lorn, she was a mystery yet to be unraveled.HISTORY
Isla grew up within the cold, stone halls of the Krull citadel, surrounded by ambition, cruelty, and whispers of power. She was quiet, intense, and unflinchingly honest, traits that unnerved even the most hardened of the Krull. Her Seer abilities emerged early, unbidden and potent. She saw things others could not, battles yet to be fought, choices yet to be made, and a man with haunted eyes who fought monsters in the snow. When she finally pieced together the truth, that this man, Lorn Reingard, was her father - she kept it hidden, not out of fear, but because she sensed he was not ready to know.
The Krull, ever opportunistic, saw in Isla a living weapon. Her visions turned the tide of war in their favor, guiding their forces with eerie precision against the Varnell Kingdom, the very blood of her mother. As Virginia descended deeper into the darkness to shield her daughter from the cruelty of her husband, Isla remained a quiet observer, caught between two legacies. One night, on the snowy peaks of the Hollund Mountains, Virginia made a final act of defiance against her fate. She found Lorn and, without ever revealing the full truth, forged a Force bond between father and daughter, a tether of shared blood and buried hope. Then, she vanished, slipping back into the shadows to protect Isla in the only way she could: from within.
When the Varnells fell, and Lorn was captured, Isla watched in silent horror as he was forced into brutal trials, culminating in the death of his own mentor. Though she stood with the Krull, her heart fractured. That night, risking everything, Isla crept through the dungeons and freed the broken man she had come to know through visions and dreams.
