Brought up on the streets of Dromund Kaas and [REDACTED], Issan Sturm was first noticed for her potential in her early teens- both as a Force-User and as a skilled and ambitious asset to one of the many Sith fiefdoms in the old Sith Empire. Saved from execution for [REDACTED] by a retainer of House Soraysom-Calimondra the young Meiryn was rechristened Issan Sturm by her adoptive guardian, and began training as a negotiator, diplomat, spy, assassin, and various risky but necessary roles for the noble house. It was during this time that Issan grew close to what would later be her liege lord and lover,
Anthysius Soraysom-Calimondra
, who was likewise being groomed to lead the house in the future.During the collapse of that empire, Issan was one of several key retainers of what was left of the family, carrying out critical missions to ensure the survival of the house. During this time, she also served as COO of Elevar Holdings, the corporate and financial lifeline of House Soraysom-Calimondra, as well as engaged in numerous deals and [REDACTED] in the galactic underworld under several pseudonyms.
With the Odavessan Apocalypse and the swift re-unification and return of the Sith Order to galactic prominence, Issan was at her liege lord's side during his attempt to resurrect the ancient house's prominence. While prospects seemed positive, the decades approaching 900ABY since have seen as many setbacks as progress, not least the mysterious assassination attempt on her master that has left him incapacitated and out of the public eye for many years. With the fate of the house once more hanging by a thread, Issan has taken on the mantle of Regent of the House, and her main aim now is to secure control of a valuable world in the safe heart of the Sith Order's domains, and build on that power. It is, like so many times in House Calimondra's history, up to the women of the house to right the mistakes of its sons and husbands.
