It is time for a Lesson

Virgillia
Bastion of Ren

Kyrel walked patiently through the halls in a stride, It had been mere weeks since his defeat on Kaeshana, and already stories were circulating all across the halls, of the Bastion of how he had taken on Two Jedi, and survived as well as kill one. Kyrel felt an enormous amount of pride at recent events, despite loosing and his lightsaber being stolen, he had risen up stronger than ever, and now a fully fledged Knight of Ren. Feeling himself grow rusty in both combat, and force powers he decided to go to the sparring room.

He thought it would a perfect idea, for a sparring session with disciples today, to teach them the brutality of Djem So, and to never underestimate one's enemy out on the battlefield. Unfortunately he had learned the lesson the hard way on Kaeshana. He waited patiently in the room, his breathing the only sound being made, as he quietly let himself go to his thoughts. Of course he did all this quietly, while summoning the Disciples, and making sure his Lightsaber was ready. This would be a tough lesson for them indeed.

There was a sparring session she was going to attend. One of the knights had decided it was time for the disciples to try their hands at defending against Djem So as well as working on their skills as a team. Three against one seemed rather unfair, but it wasn't Ara's place to argue. If the Knight wanted to go for broke against them, so be it. Her friend, [member="Kaalia Voldaren"], would be joining them, as well as the mysterious [member="Mishel Ren"]. Ara knew the latter from a Military Ball back on Dosuun, but that was about it. Now they had to work on a team to take down one of their own? Interesting.

The disciple entered the sparring room, raising her eyebrows at the lack of other participants. She'd expected to be one of the last to arrive, considering how long it had taken her to decide on proper clothing for a sparring match. She'd left her cloak and heeled boots in her small room, instead opting for a blue and black tank combination and black, tight fitting pants. Black knee-high combat boots and a belt with her saber hanging from it completed the outfit.

She strode to the center of the room, bowing slightly to the man in armor out of respect for his position above anything else. She appreciated the chance to test her skills against someone other than her Master, diversity was always a good change.

"Good afternoon."

She nodded once and moved off to the side, taking the time as she waiting for her fellow disciples to appear to tie her long hair up and out of the way in a long braid. As much as she loved the feeling of her unbound hair, she suspected it would only become an advantage for her opponent. Once she finished she engaged in a round of stretches, intent on warming up her muscles.

It had been a while since Kaalia had a sparring session, making this a welcome change. [member="Kyrel Ren"] decided to take on [member="Ara Ren"], her close friend, [member="Mishel Ren"], who she witnessed the 'birth' of and herself on at the same time. An odd premise, but perhaps the man had tricks up his sleeve. She decided to not get overzealous, and use her skills to the fullest extend as she always did. No need to get cocky.

The redhead sported dark grey robes and her trusty black boots, her lightsabers clipped to her belt. Her hair braided so it wouldn't get in the way. It had become a standard outfit for moments like this. While humming a melody while walking through the hallways, Kaalia arrived at the sparring room in which they agreed to meet. Ara and Kyrel had arrived already, and she gave them both a nod. "I must admit I've been waiting for this, sharpening my skill never a bad thing." The woman made her way to Ara's side, waiting for Mishel to arrive.

The Bastion of Ren hummed with the initiates, disciples, a few knights and the voice of their master Seiger Ren. Darkness felt more of a comfort here and the light to be used as the tool that it was. Education took place here, living was done and for Mishel her days started early - it started with meditation, focus and the whispers of a mantra that was her creed. A round of physical fitness that lasted for an hour and a half, shower and then breakfast.

Early afternoon led to a study of the force and force techniques most of which she knew of. The application of the force was something else entirely and often she would study with one of the Knights. Today however would be implement lightsaber and force techniques together. Typically her later afternoons were reserved for lightsaber training. She trained with a typical training blade learning various forums two of which she had become quite proficient in, Soresu and Ataru.

Other forms such as Shii-Cho or Djem So, were forms she needed great practice in. Today, brother [member="Kyrel Ren"] had 'offered' to instruct three of the disciples. Sister [member="Ara Ren"] and Sister [member="Kaalia Voldaren"]. The sparring room wasn't too far from where she was now, which was the armory. Grabbing a stack of training blades, the disciple wearing dark orange- near brown robes thought about her activities after the sparring session. More physical fitness, lunch, shower and meditation. Her soft boots were just audible enough to hear as she neared the room. "Greetings," she said to them in a fairly neutral voice from behind the stack of lightsabers.

"I felt perhaps that the training blades would be useful, lightsabers do not have a safety mode." Mishel said as she handed the training blades out, "although they do hurt." Small shocks and the weight behind the swings were usually good reminders to keep your guard. Her hair was pulled up into a loose pony tail that seemed to swish and sway as she moved. Heading to her own corner of the sparring room, the younger Ren began to stretch.

Stardust had been allowed to visit and assist the ren and first order, she had heard about a sparring going on, stardust didn't know much about the ren besides what records she could find before hand...which sadly was not much

In any case, she walked down the hall to the training room she had heard about, Sabers on her sides alomg side her westars, her armor shined against the light that would hit it and glare off

She opened the door, she looked around and spoke

my apologies think you can fit one more in this match?

She said politely, though in the force, she'd look like a dormant dragon ready to move then needed, she stood not getting to a corner...waiting for permission

Kyrel lost in his meditative state only thought of the Battle of Kaeshana. The battle still had an effect on him mentally, and so sometimes thought back on how he almost died, after the battle he promised that he wouldn't be that weak ever again, He promised that he would grow strong in the dark side and do whatever it took in order to accomplish that at whatever cost. His thoughts were quickly swept away by several Force Signatures approach, He sensed that they were all strong like him, and looked forward to teaching these new batch of Disciples in the form that he knew best, except his form was an imitation of Darth Vader's from what he had studied of holos he had seen.

He turned around his cape slightly flowing as he looked at the three women that stood before him. He admitted that he was going to enjoy whipping them into shape, and he was also going to enjoy delivering a through beating to them. He was not one to play nice or safe, and he would make that clear to them, this spar would be as if facing an enemy no mercy would be shown, and their would be no exceptions. He saw that one of them [member="Mishel Ren"] had grabbed a set of training sabers explaining that it would be a lot easier than using a Lightsaber, except sabers did indeed have training modes built into them, but he was not going to argue as he was not here for that. He said in a cold tone, his metallic baritone booming not showing a hint of emotion behind that voice. "Good You three are here, Let's begin." He said pulling a training saber out of her hand and into his.

He than noticed a new comer enter. He looked and saw what looked to be Twi'lek in front of him, she was asking if she could join in on the spar. He pondered this momentarily as if wondering what to do, his breathing the only sound heard so far, until he spoke. "You may join in on this lesson." He looked around and saw the other three stretching, he didn't not want to waste any time and rather get down to it. He said to all four of them activating the training saber with a snap hiss. "Let's Begin, Come at me now!!" He said the vocabulater not showing a hint of emotion of what he said, as he lowered the saber waiting for they're move.

Ara didn't recognize the Twi'lek who joined their group, nor did she particularly care. She took the offered saber from [member="Mishel Ren"] with an easy nod, activating the blade with a hiss. The energy vibrating through the blade grounded her, an easy grin spreading across her face.

She raised an eyebrow as he demanded they begin with a simple command to attack. This was to be a true spar, without instruction or rules, a simple battle between Disciples, the Knight, and whoever the newcomer was. It seemed relatively unfair, four against one, but [member="Kyrel Ren"] had arranged for this lesson and she would not argue with his choice. Especially when the odds were in her favor.

She tested the weight of the training saber with a quick flick of the wrist, the glowing blade spinning a smooth 360-degree before being stopped by the deft hand. She nodded her approval and readied for attack. She missed the curved hilt of her personal blade, its smooth metal conforming to the grip she'd become so accustomed to in her training of the second form, Makashi. She shrugged and eyed her fellow disciples, all teasing and lightheartedness from the few times they'd met before, gone. Her expression was one of pure determination, focus, and anticipation.

Tapping into the Force around them, she dashed forward, movements quick and precise. Five strides had her within striking distance of the armored knight.

A feint to the left side first, followed quickly by a sweeping blow towards the head followed immediately behind.

Without waiting, she moved back three quick steps as taught. She would stay moving and wear him down over time, as was the Makashi way.

[member="Kaalia Voldaren"] | [member="Stardust Raxis"]

As [member="Mishel Ren"] and an extra soul by the name of [member="Stardust Raxis"] arrived, Kaalia made sure her blue saber was in its training mode. The red-bladed weapon that was still clipped to her belt didn't have such a setting, and instead accepted one of the sabers Mishel was handing out. Kaalia nodded towards her. "Thank you. One of my sabers actually has such a mode, but the other doesn't. I'll gladly replace it for this session." She double checked if her own weapon was indeed in the right setting before igniting her blades, revealing beams of azure blue and crimson red from the hilts. She twirled them around, mostly getting used to the properties of the training saber in her right, and took a Jar'kai stance.

[member="Ara Ren"] wasted no time for an attack after [member="Kyrel Ren"] invited the others to face him, using an all-familiar Makashi form. The redhead was taught in the same form in her days as a Jedi, and still practices it. It had since become a backup style to her Jar'kai however, which the woman preferred using. With Kyrel busy dealing with Ara, Kaalia instead ran past her opponent. While turning around, her blue blade made a sweeping arc towards his back, leaving the blade in her right behind for deflections in case he'd parry the attack.

Mishel was not very familiar with the Makashai form and thusly became more intrigued watching [member="Ara Ren"] and [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] use it. She knew coming into this match that brother [member="Kyrel Ren"] used Djem So which was the very reason for agreeing to this, if she were being honest. [member="Stardust Raxis"] was a newcome, and someone Mishel had not seen around here before. In fact, she thought on the fact - had she even seen a twi'lek before? A blurred, grainy and distorted memory was trying to crawl its way through to her mind but all she saw was blue. Taking in a deep breath she clutched at her chest, her heart began to ache for some reason, her training saber was held with the tip pointing toward the ground as she bent over trying to breathe through the pain.

Now was not the time to become distracted, focusing herself the younger Ren backed herself up to a wall. She winced with the hand on her chest trying to ease the pain away with force healing but it did little to alleviate the pressure. At this point the training saber was holding her up as she bent over. A word appeared in her mind, Ty-Tygara. What was Tygara she wondered as an electrical shock zipped through her body. Correcting any wandering thoughts she might have. Her programming kicked in, the training saber was flipped up into the air. Mishel grabbed it at the hilt she pushed off the wall using force jump closing the gap between herself and Kyrel.

She landed opposite of Kaalia and Ara, and shifted into Soresu's defensive stance.

She gave a smile, she looked to her sabers as she spun them around, she put them down as she got two training sabers and spun them activating the yellow and red blades, she looked at them as she gave a nod to herself as she looked among the other 4

She closed her eyes, she let the force fill her vision, she looked to the three girls one by one and could see they weren't strong but the potential was there...next she looked to kyrel, he seemed quite powerful just...still under her...she chuckled to herself as she moved forward slowly then picked her speed up her eyes focused on kyrel for a moment as she bent her legs and push off the ground sending herself soaring for him, she stopped herself as she launched a furious attack to his left side , her left arm forward right arm hanging back as she kept her left side pointed to him....just in case he decided to go for her left arm...he'd be in for a surprise

Kyrel grinned underneath his helmet as he waited for the first moves. He raised his saber with one hand upwards waiting patiently. Than it was as if like clockwork [member="Ara Ren"] approached first eager to engage him. She had came up quickly faster than Kyrel could see, and the way that she moved allowed Kyrel to read her style. He mentally laughed when he found that she was using Makashi, Makashi was incorporated into his form along with Forms III,IV,VII, and I. He was able to match her attacks with his own blocks for the moment going in a Soresu defense. He moved his saber upwards to catch the attack to his head, and barely blocked the one to the side. He laughed at her, the vocabulater making it sound creepy as he did so. He than moved swiftly moving his saber upwards, and with his mechanical strength from his cybernetics he proceeded to launch a series of power attacks, this is where her Makashi was at it's weakest. It was made to carry on through a battle stretching it out, Djem So on the other hand was made for Lightsaber Combat and made to direct the flow of the battle in the user's favor. His power attacks were made to surprise her, and tire her as well, he lunged forward trying to push her back with his attacks and attempt to break through where he could deliver a decisive blow to her midsection.

He than sensed [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] move in as he attempted his attacks He sensed an attack coming from the back, and so attempted to stretch out with his free hand to force choke her and stop her in her tracks. He than thought of an idea as he engaged in a bladelock with Ara, and had Kaalia in his grasp slowly attempting to apply more pressure to her windpipe. He knew the two were practically inseparable from one another, and so decided to use Dun Moch to his advantage to get inside Ara's head. He gazed into her eyes as he kept pressing the bladelock. "How unfortunate, I was expecting more from you two. A pity your makashi is utterly no match for my Djem So, and it looks like you and your friend here will suffer. Pitiful disciple."

He was than surprised by [member="Stardust Raxis"] who came flying towards him, she aimed to attack his left side, this caused him to break the bladelock, and force push Kaalia to another end of the room. He fell back attempting to block the attack. He than decided to press his own attack attempting to drive her away and even making a diagnol slash towards her weapon arm. He than saw [member="Mishel Ren"] who had gone into a form III stance, He attempted to surprise Stardust by giving her a punch to the gut, and make his way over to engage the other Ren he had not engaged yet.

As Kaalia was in the midst of her attack, she felt the Force wrap around her neck, an attempt by [member="Kyrel Ren"] to choke her out. She noticed that he was dealing with [member="Ara Ren"]'s attack at the same time. With his split attention she was able to gather the Force around her, creating a barrier around her neck to prevent her from choking out. The redhead ignored his laughter and arrogance, instead focussing on her blad which continued making its way towards Kyrel's side.

When [member="Stardust Raxis"] joined the other two in their attack, she felt the pressure that tried to make its way to her neck dissipate, and now a Force push was coming towards her. She opened the palm of her right hand, creating a barrier in front of her to block the impact. The man's attention was still split, allowing her to stay standing more easily. The opposing forces or Kaalia and Kyrel kept the saber she had in her right in place, causing it to stay in her hand despite not having a grip on it. The offense against her slowed down her arcing sweep towards Kyrel's side, but she continued to commit to the attack.

[member="Mishel Ren"]

Her connection with the force was strong, her bloodlust and pride fueling her onward with every strike of the blade. His power attacks were almost expected and she smiled as she remembered the last opponent to try and tire her out with similar blows. Her feet never stopped moving as she danced out of his range, blade easily meeting each attack and rolling off. She wasn't stupid enough to try to block each attack directly, instead parrying them as she'd been taught by Talon Ren.

Neither her master nor the Knight were slouches in the strength department, and a quick duck and spin kept a missed strike from coming down on her shoulder.

When his voice echoed through her mind, she merely narrowed her eyes, lips curled up in a wicked grin. Her focus never left the armored knight, despite his comments about [member="Kaalia Voldaren"]'s suffering. His attempt to play on her pride and fear for her friend was interesting, the glint in her eyes as she met one of his strikes dead-on. The momentary bladelock an unexpected boon to them both. Any semblance of friendliness or good humor had fled shortly after she attacked, her eyes orbs of dark green, filled with pure determination.

She felt the power of the darkside growing as they sparred, the edges of her irises turning an eerie red-yellow as the tint of power took hold. As he disengaged from her attack to meet the rest of the opponents, Ara launched herself at his back, a series of quick strikes aimed for his elbows and shoulders, weak spot for his protective armor.

Makashai, Djem So were lightsaber forms Mishel knew of but did not prefer to use she watched [member="Kyrel Ren"] attempt to dissuade her sisters to somehow puncture their focus. He failed and in doing so left himself open for [member="Ara Ren"] as [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] managed to regain her own footing. The young Ren watched as Kyrel made his movements toward her she would wait for him to get closer both her hands now gripped the hilt of her training blade. Brother Kyrel's Djem So was sloppy and unrefined like a child splashing water and letting it spill all over the floor. Kyrel would not have been her first sparring partner [member="Samka Derith"] was often the one to spar against her as it had been Mishel was to be cared for her by her.

Today, was another matter. Mishel met Kyrel's blade with hers, she'd block his attack and counter with one of her own an up swing across his chest. Her hand outstretched toward him as fire emerged from her hand to block another attack as she flipped the hilt of her blade to come down into the crook of Kyrel's arm.

"You will be made to heel at the feet of a Kerrigan, Brother," she swore as her eyes burned with an orange hue. "You're sloppy, have you spent this whole time wallowing in self-pity? And you call yourself a Knight of Ren."

Cortisis arm -
Just the opportunity she had been waiting for, once his blade came down on her arm the synthetic skin broke and his blade would hit the cortosis underneath, the sabers if it had held for long enough would go off leaving him weaponless against the four of them

However the guy punch she was not expecting, she pushed back in surprise as she gritted her teeth at the pain and looked up with a smile, almost a predator like one

She ran for him again, this time instead of Launching at him and used the force and would attempt to push him onto a corner, this way her allies could rush and attack him giving him no room

[member="Mishel Ren"] [member="Ara Ren"] [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] [member="Kyrel Ren"]

Kyrel was overwhelmed on all sides, and for a minute gave into [member="Mishel Ren"]'s Dun Moch as he sometimes felt unworthy of the title of Knight. It would seem that he would be utterly defeated, but than one word was spoken that caused Kyrel to look up at Mishel. He swore he had heard Kerrigan. Kyrel had heard what he thought was unthinkable as a flashback occurred in his mind for a brief second he remembered the Battle Of Kaeshana, and the fateful duel he encountered with the Jedi. He remembered before killing the Jedi woman he remembered her speak of her master Kerrigan and bragged on how his saber was to be a trophy for this figure. He only realized much later what had happened with his weapon, and so had a personal grudge to settle with this Kerrigan.

His mind came back to reality as he was now brimming with rage. His black irsis were now placed with fiery yellow, and felt anger like he had never felt before. He moved his arm as quickly as he did but only managed it to get the armor slightly cut. Thankfully the Phrik reinforced plating shrugged off the blade, and Kyrel managed to regain his footing. With this new found raged that coursed through his veins making him more alive than ever before he looked at her in a offensive stance watching the other three closely, as he spoke his voice not hiding the venom it carried. "Kerrigan.....I always had a bad feeling about you girl, ever since I first saw you I knew something was a miss. Pathetic that your kind was accepted to the Ren my so called Sister.... I have a score to settle with your Kin but since I can't find said Kin, you'll have to do, If it was up to me I would kill you from where you stand. A beating will just have to do, but first."

He looked around as he saw [member="Ara Ren"] attack from the back as well as [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] and [member="Stardust Raxis"] attack from the side. He used the force to plant himself firmly to the ground, and allowed this new found rage to give him focus. He swiftly moved into a Soresu stance meeting the attack from behind twisting his arm to knock her saber and force push her into the wall. He than slowly shifted to the attack on the side meeting the two head on, and moving back to give him some room. He kept tapping more into his rage increasing his power, and giving him more power he went on an attempted series of parries and than shifted to Djem So attempting to deliver a hard kick to Kaalia and and attempting to deliver a vertical strike to Stardust's torso.

As he blocked her attack, she found herself flying into the wall. The impact hurt, but wasn't as debilitating as the last two times she'd been thrown into an immovable object. His attention was divided, his attacks with the force weaker than they might have been if he could focus on one opponent alone. Her eyes widened slightly as the youngest Ren used fire as a defense, way too close to her allies for comfort.

"Watch where you're throwing that chit!" She shouted at [member="Mishel Ren"], hoping the young girl would actually remember they were all fighting the same opponent before frying them all. She wasn't sure why the name Kerrigan mattered, but if effected the knight and created Chaos, and she'd use it.

She waited for a moment, giving [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] and [member="Stardust Raxis"] a chance to work unhindered by another body in the fray.

Chanelling the power flowing through her, she lifted a hand and focused on his saber, attempting to call the saber to her. It was a long shot, but he was distracted and if his grip was anything but secure, he would find himself disarmed and surrounded.

[member="Kyrel Ren"]

Kaalia's attack was cut short as fire emerged from [member="Mishel Ren"]'s person, and the redhead was forced to react. When [member="Kyrel Ren"] went for another push it turned out to be her lucky break. She blocked it only partially, letting the push send her backwards as she saw Kyrel's boot kick in her direction. At that point she was already out of range however, and when the fire made its way to where she was originally standing Kaalia was already out of the way. "Thanks for saving me, bud!" Her tone was slightly mocking, a taunting grin plastered across her face. It was always satisfying to turn an opponent's offense to your advantage.

The red beam of light in her right hand reappeared, meeting the contrasting blue in her left once again. The redhead felt Kyrel's presence becoming more and more enraged, and he no doubt used it to fuel his power. "If you want to settle a score with her, that'll have to wait. I'm just getting warmed up, and I'm not leaving." [member="Ara Ren"] in the meantime attempted to disarm their opponent, and Kaalia decided to help her out in that effort by attempting to split his attention once more. She quickly closed the distance between her and Kyrel again, but this time she ducked as she got close. With a swift motion she swung her sabers in the direction of his knees, attempting to take his feet from under him.

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

Kyrel attempted to use the force to stop the fire ball but by the time he could get any concentration it had struck him. The fireball thankfully didn't damage the systems or melt through the Durasteel/Duraplast/Phrik hull. Instead it made it really hot making his charred remains sizzle through the intense heat. He gritted his teeth and stifled a scream. He felt as if his nerves were on fire and instead of giving in to the pain, he stood his ground and growled at his opponents.

While recovering from the fireball that was thrown at him, his grip was loose and soon he felt as if the hilt was being forcibly removed from his grasp. It was than flung out of his reach, his gaze followed the saber to the hands of [member="Ara Ren"], and as his rage grew to dangerous new heights fueling his power even more, he moved quickly towards her but was stopped by the appearance of [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] that now stood between him and Ara. Without having any time to react she attacked his news. The metal was bruised and sparks flew out of it emitting a loud roar from Kyrel.

He looked down and in a fit of rage moved his hand upwards crashing into her chin, and attempting to knock her back. He groaned as he felt pain all over, but he was not prepared to give in, his anger outmatching his pain he attempted to pull his saber back to him. His rage fueling his power attempting to dominate with his will and in hoping to get his saber back in time to fight off both [member="Stardust Raxis"] and [member="Mishel Ren"].

Mishel had heard [member="Ara Ren"] and watched as [member="Kyrel Ren"] dealt with her and [member="Kaalia Voldaren"]. She listened as they spoke, and she took in the words of Kyrel. Oh had the words of Kyrel sunk into her. All she could do was think on the memories she held dear, the ones tucked away in the back of her mind. Closing her eyes she shut out the commotion of Ara and Kaalia against Kyrel. She shut out the back and forth taunts, the clashing of blades, armor and the sounds of boots against the training floor. Mishel steadied her breathing, worked to negate the shocks that went through her body, bringing her to her knees. To reach the sound of Siobhan Kerrigan's voice, calling to her, the sound of the word Angel, Miracle, Daughter.

Immediately the savagery of Sieger Ren's words took in. She abandoned you, left you to rot on Tygara when the Kraal invaded. Had it not been for her father, she would have died, and the words of Kyrel. Her eyes flew open and they burned a deep orange, much like the color of the flames that were now in her hand. Heeding Ara's words she concentrated her fire in a cone aiming for Kyrel. "My kind makes the galaxy kneel before our feet, my kind have been here before you and my kind will be here long after your pathetic attempt at victory is ever complete, brother." Flames were launched toward him, a good fifteen foot cone spread. "You will be made to heel."

Training blade in hand she slid beneath the flames as they finished their trail toward the black-armor-clad Knight of Ren. Her blade out like a bat to bunt, however; the only thing bunting here would be the Knight's shins. Now it would be on [member="Stardust Raxis"], to make her moves.
