Even to this very moment in time, Calixte didn't have the slightest clue as to what she was doing here on this planet. This was a place she was clearly never meant to be, yet here she was, seated on an uncomfortable stool in a seedy little diner, facing the large wall-length window so that she could see across the street. The Dive looked like a plain Jane place to her, at least from the outside, and yet the foot traffic just kept on coming. Clearly the business inside was well worth ignoring the look on the outside. A fact that made the redheaded vixen scoff and sip idly at the drink cradled between her hands.

She had forgone her armor for this, deciding instead to dress as civilian as possible. She didn't want any sort of attention from anyone - which really translated to she didn't want anyone getting in her way. Her Beskar attracted more attention than she needed right now. Hell, she hadn't even talked to anyone about this, or why she was here, not since Garryn and his minty-haired halfling of a wife had opened their mouths about this. Hell, the only reason Galaar knew about it was because he had been there when she had gotten the news, and when she had put this half-assed plan together.

And now here they were, seated across the way from where her apparent sister was located. No, not just sister, twin sister! That was a hell of a thing to just be learning after nearly thirty years of life. And it had thrown Calixte for a serious, serious loop to say the very least.

"I think the people who work here probably have a back entrance they use..." she finally, finally spoke! She had been utterly silent since they had arrived on this damned planet. "Ugh, what the hell am I doing here?" she groused out and shoved her cup away. "I've spent all this time without knowing this person existed, so what does it matter if I meet her now that I know she's there?" Honestly, there were plenty of reasons, but it seemed the reality of living family was finally starting to catch up with Cali.

If he had not been there in the moments of her learning about her twin sister, Galaar seriously doubted he would be sat beside his redheaded vixen, sipping lightly from a drink while her eyes bore holes into what she assumed as the staff door. He probably would have been left behind, tending to the family, while she went on this mission to find a family member she had no idea was a part of her life. Well, perhaps not a part of her life. Maybe one that was missing, however. That was assuming that this whole thing was true.

It wasn’t like Galaar could get much of a read on his vixen anyway. Rarely was there a time that she went without speaking so long, though it wasn’t like the older Mandalorian was even pondering disturbing that silence. To have a sibling somehow, suddenly, pop up out of nowhere would be jarring for even the most tough of individual. Especially when it was a sibling of a Mandalorian. Their familial ties ran deeper than most other species or groups. All he could hope for was that this wouldn’t be too jarring for his love.

Her speech was enough to jar him slightly, causing him to put his drink back on the table from it’s position at his lips. He mused over his answer to her question, and whether or not she even really wanted an answer, before saying in that gruff voice, “I doubt you would have come out all this way, my vixen, if you truly did not care about finally meeting this woman.” This was about as good as Galaar could come up with. He wasn’t here to push Cali in one direction or another. If she wanted to get up and leave this very moment, he would follow her out the door without another question.

Yet if she did want to meet this sister of hers, under whatever circumstances came of it, he’d be right there as well. “What you do when you do meet her..now that is a little more up in the air, isn’t it?”

He was right, one hundred and ten percent, he was right. And some part of Cali really hated that fact. She breathed in a deep breath and sighed it out very slowly through her nose as she continued to glower through the window at the building across the street. The fact that she even had family - blood family, that is - was in and of itself a miracle. She had grown up thinking that there was nothing of the sort out there for her, and now here she stood, just several feet away from a twin.

"Ugh," she scoffed and both of her hands rose so that she could rake her fingers through her red curls. "This is insane," she finally let out, then shift to face him, hands still in her hair. "Isn't this insane? Am I crazy?" She was sure starting to feel like she was. This whole discovery had rocked Cali's entire world, and yet here she was, about to do the same thing to someone else? As far as she knew, this sister didn't know about her either, and said sister had grown her whole life not knowing blood family either. Who was Cali to come along and turn that upside down for someone else?

"I feel lost..." ah, there was the problem. This confident, bullheaded, always-knows-what-she-wants, redheaded vixen was for once? Most definitely uncertain in this moment.

“No, you are not crazy, Cali.” He started, his own eyes beginning to look out the window toward the bar across the street. Quite a thing to imagine that there was another Diantha out there, one that looked very much like his own vixen. His mind wandered to whether or not the woman’s personality would match Cali’s, or whether the woman’s inclusion in the Mandalorian culture had helped shape some of her sharp tongue and sassy personality.

After a few moments, his eyes turned back to the to the redheaded woman, who was seemingly beginning to let the whole thing really get to her. It was certainly hard not to. Though her confessions of feeling lost, insane, did not come from her imagination. It was a situation that no one was meant to deal through. Especially not one who’s culture had such deep familial connections. “Who we are..Cali, the people we follow, the traditions we hold talk about family and how it binds us all together. It’s almost to the level of those blastered jedi and their force..” He chuckled, lightly, reaching over to squeeze the redheaded woman’s shoulder.

His eyes searched to meet hers, and when they did, he begun again while nodding toward the location. “If we go in there, and it gets bad, I’ll back you up. But I believe you know that this is something you need to do, Cali. And you’ll never forgive yourself if you don’t.”

He was right. Every bit of what he said to her...he was right, and it was clear that his words were hitting home because the panic that had started to surface in Calixte's grey eyes slowly dulled back to their normal, sultry level. She was quiet again for the moment, though she did nod to him to further show that what he had said had sunk in. She heard him, she got it, she understood.

A deep, shaky sigh was exhaled from the redhead's lips, and again she nodded. This was family. Even if the twins had never known a thing about the other throughout the entirety of their lives, they were family. Couldn't get more family than twins, now could you?

"Alright," she breathed out, and bobbed her head in a nod yet again. At this rate she was going to give herself whiplash. "I say it's time we go and find ourselves a spot inside the club, yeah?" Her gaze drifted to him again, and she reached out to tug at the material of his shirt. "Though I am half tempted to leave you here. My twin, working in a club full of exotic dancers?" her head shook. "Not gonna lie, I don't like it." Who could blame her?

Galaar breathed out a long, deep sigh of relief when the silence from his partner ended with a quick affirmation. He knew the regrets she’d have if she didn’t go through with this, and Cali was plenty smart enough to know that for herself as well. He was glad they were doing this, even if it might end up hurting Cali in the short term. The long term pain would be much less if she walked through those doors, especially with the man right behind her all the way.

The grip on his shirt drew his eyes from the club into gazing into the neverending pools that was his partners eyes. Her tease led to a perked eyebrow from galaar, and a slowly spreading grin that crossed his face. “Oh, afraid I’ll get the wrong idea and buy a matching outfit for you, my dear?” He’d pay for that comment in some way later on, but it was so perfect and there was no way he’d let it just slip on by. Besides, if she could tease, he’d certainly attempt to do the exact same right back.

He didn’t wait long to see how she’d respond, instead standing from their table to approach the bartender to quickly pay their bill. Galaar did so, turning to head out of the their stalking out location. As the pair came out and onto the busy streets, his eyes glanced over to the club, eye it as inconspicuously as possible. “So,” he started, turning to his vixen. “Are we entering in the front door, past the bruiser..or finding an alternative means of entering?” Not that it mattered much to him, but he would like to have a plan before they busted into the place. Better to at least have the semblance of an ide

How she had expected anything less to come in retort from Galaar was beyond Calixte. Naturally she was hardly put off by his teasing remark; if anything it made her relax just a little more. A sense of normalcy during this situation that was anything but normal. So at his teasing inquiry, the redhead's head tipped to the side and her brow creased as she gazed up at him with all seriousness in her expression - though naturally such seriousness was a farce. "And who is to say that I don't already have such an outfit at home somewhere, hm?"

She left it at that, released his shirt, and stepped away so that the pair of them could at least leave to go outside. Once there, she studied the entrance, and for once? Going in guns blazing, or sneaking around to another entrance, wasn't the way to do this. It could get them into some sort of trouble that would never get them into the club. And then they would be stuck waiting outside for whenever this twin got off work.

"I guess we go in the front door." she finally answered him. "We do this right, without causing trouble, and maybe things will go smoothly for a change..." Not likely, but she could hope, right?
