Italic Glitch

• Short Description: Italics making text disappear.
• Browser: Firefox (Windows XP), Chrome (Mac OSX)
• Severity: All profiles, all devices (have not checked phone yet)
• Description: Posting italics in blogs makes the italicized text invisible. Loosely similar situation with signatures. Posting it anywhere else on the board makes it invisible until you edit and save the post again, in which it returns.

• In the first spoiler, on the third item down, you'll see "[WIP]" but the name of the ship along with the link are completely absent. If you edit the post, you'll see the name clearly listed as it would normally be displayed. I've tried making it plain text but the whole line remains invisible.

Try removing some of the other formatting.

This also reminds me to start a band called ITALICA.

I have tried, doesn't work. I can tell it's an established issue (at least for me) though, because it happens in every post, for every character, on every machine. Even just hitting the edit button and saving the post without actually changing or removing anything makes it appear in forum posts again.

I am also having this problem. It is however resolved by pressing edit after the post and then reposting it again.

I've experienced the same issue - on both PC/Firefox and iPad/Safari and stumbled on the same solution outlined above.

THIS ONLY MAKES IT WORSE.

Now every single piece of italic in my blog is not displaying, except for in the edit screen. No amount of editing, saving or un-italicizing is doing anything to change this. Pretty much 60% of the content of Aynea's blog post content entailing all of her possessions is completely absent when viewing it normally.

And it happens in everything. My signatures. My posts. My blogs. My factions. For everything but the blog, simply quasi-editing the post makes it reappear. For the blog, however... well, see above.

Reposting isn't an option either, because the issue affects the reposts too.
