For as long as their culture has existed, Mandalorians have been forced to fight a war of technological attrition against Force Users. Whether their enemies were Jedi or Sith, Mandalorians always found themselves at a inherent disadvantage to their opponents, whether it be their supposedly impervious lightsabers or mythical Force abilities. Forced to adapt if they wished to survive, Mandalorians are perhaps the most competent at dealing with Force Users, having learned to use technology to be able to counter Force abilities and lightsabers.
One new adaptation is Iti'uba, Mandalorian Stim, first-of-its-kind to be produced by the nascent Mandalorian Enclave. Stim is not a new concept in Galactic Medicine; generally, strains are developed to provide temporary adrenal or medical stimulants to a user in combat to ward off fatigue or minor injuries, temporary solutions for soldiers to keep fighting longer or to save medical patients in critical condition. Iti'uba is different, however; more potent, and focused on the adrenal and nervous systems rather than providing any source of healing.
The stim is an extremely potent variant that increases the capabilities of a user's neurological and adrenal systems that the user will seem to experience time-dilation, though in reality time is continuing at its normal pace. This allows for extremely fast, near-inhuman reaction speeds and focus, greatly increasing combat performance against high-powered and fast opponents. The side-effects are just as powerful as its inherent effects. Prolonged use runs the risk of cognitive decay, mania, and hypersensitivity and prolonged use of the stimulant in battle will require an extensive detox period to treat these symptoms or prevent them.
