It's a little chilly in here [Chilled to the Bone - Silver Jedi Mission, PM for Silver Jedi]

Mission Name: Chilled to the Bone
Mission Location: Deep Space, near Midvinter
Mission Difficulty: Hard
Mission Objective: To visit Midvinter however, you do not arrive. Instead you find an abandoned/derelict Space Station, and investigate.

Current Place: Hyperspace, Carrick's Sword,
Pilot's seat

A trip to the newly discovered Midvinter. A planet of "Space Vikings" that we were to investigate and make contact with the Locals. if also we were to gather information about a possible place to expand to. It seemed that some of these Vikings were leaving the planet and becoming very powerful Sith. If we were on our way to get rid of the Dark side of the force, we had to stop it from taking hold on people who did not really know any better about the different between the two. Donning my Vigil Battle Armor I did not know what to expect. There was a small amount of information being that the race used swords and other bladed melee weaponry. At this notion, I carried my Dawnstar Battle Hammer. Something to relate to them in at least some form or another. But should it get hairy, I carried my twin lightsabers on my belt.

Helmet resting on the floor as we were soon going to be leaving Hyperspace in about the span of five minutes. Looking to the side, I saw K1-LLR my proxy droid flipping buttons getting prepared for whatever may be on the other side. Grabbing the com for the ship, I spoke into it, "Leaving hyperspace, T minus fi-" I couldn't finish as we left hyperspace.

The swordsman sat in the seat directly behind the pilot's, his eyes were abound with dazzling sights and sounds as his senses were overwhelmed with the wealth of new things to discover. Of course it'd been a few years since he'd left his home on Dantooine, but this...this was still a new thing to experience. When he was brought to Voss by the Jedi, he didn't happen to be gifted with a seat in the cockpit and was situated in the rear passenger bay. This time, his new host was most gracious to grant him a simple seating arrangement that brought joy to his being.

"Thank you, Master Carrick."

His deep voice resounded throughout the confined space as he lurched forward in his crash webbing to investigate the blinking lights on the control panels to his left and right, wondering what might happen if he were to press a few buttons or flick some switches. Given the fact that they were currently flying, he chose not to indulge the curious side of him and instead sat back in his seat, resting a hand upon the hilt of the sword seated upon his hip. Floral colored eyes sparkled with wonder and mirth as they watched streams of blue-white light materialize into existence as the Carrick's Sword was sent into hyperspace.

Looking back at his own reflection in the washroom mirror, Connor Harrison tried to stare himself out as he peered into the very soul of the Knight of the Silver Jedi before him. His breathing was nice and calm, letting the soft hum and the ship he was in ring in his ears. Fresh from the Vaynai assignment that had tested the very unity of the Order her served, Connor was now on another voyage into the unknown with his fellow Jedi; Master [member="Xander Carrick"], a warrior whom he knew well, and a newcomer, [member="Kenshi Mitsumoto"], one he didn’t know at all but was impressed by his eagerness, willing and imposing stature.

En-route to Midvinter, the trio would be acting as ambassadors almost for the Order to befriend, explore and understand the locals there with the possibilities of expansion. Connor had heard of the “Vikings of the Stars” and was very intrigued by their almost prehistoric but mythological presence in the galaxy.

Wiping his wet hands over his cheeks to refresh him, Connor took a small hand towel and dabbed away the droplets of water from the basin in front of him and slid open the door beside him leading back into the cozy quarters of the ship.

Xander’s voice boomed over the ship’s tannoy, but was suddenly cut short. Smiling to himself and stopping in his tracks to the cockpit for a second, Connor waited for him to finish – but there was nothing. A small flick of the eyebrows dismissed the interruption and he turned through the small passageway leading to the cockpit, the blue hue of hyperspace all but gone.

”Anything wrong?”

Everything seemed normal at least; 3 Jedi accounted for surrounded by stars amid a cockpit of blinking lights and visual displays.

Looking down at herself as she in the middle of the room in a deep meditation state it seem to her that this was the only way to sort things out. Coming on this trip was more then getting her way from Voss. Also, in a very way there something else as right now Xander was her protector from who. Deeping thinking on this matter was it from her self or something more. Looking across at the padawn that had came along with them. Her training with this one. Yes, then given her this responsablity on the mission to the planet they was seeking out. Smiling at her with a very gentle as she spoken to Shiva, "Very good just breathing in and out, slowly....", then there was a jerk that pop her eyes open.

"Stand here," as she went to unfold her legs and got up from the fur rug. Making her way up to the cock pit. "Yea, I know love I'm not to be up here for another 4 hours to take over, but what just happen.", looking at @ Xander Carrick . As she looked at Connor coming over and kisses his cheek [member="Connor Harrison"] "I glad to see you, its been a while hasn't it.", a she stood looking at the window.

Before looking at the new one of the group, "Oh, I'm sorry I"m Knight Whitelight,", giving a playful wink [member="Kenshi Mitsumoto"]

As we came out of hyperspace, all I could do was try and figure out why we had left it. We were almost on the way to Midvinter when we just... Jumped off? Something seemed strange and was clearly wanting to mess with us. As now a Jedi Master, I would be naturally leading the group, which seemed to be my job all the time since I had gotten the title of knight within the Silver Jedi Order, but sometimes it felt good to lead. I was almost scrambling to flip switches and buttons that were flashing. It seems that something killed the engines as we were almost literally floating in space. Turning around as people were asking questions.

"I have good news and bad news. Good news is that we are still alive and we will live. Bad news is that the engines were taken out by something." looking as Maya walked in, I repeated myself. Just in a shorter version that we were kind of stuck here. I was the reminded that from the recent incidents with the Sith and Maya being taken back by the Silver Jedi, I was to keep her with me all the time. She had a connection with me, and would be less likely to snap around me. I had a feelin that the other two would be jitterish around her but we would have to work that out later.

It was then that K, my proxy droid spoke. "Master Carrick, you should see this." looking back to her and what she was pointing at, I turned to face the view port and see a space station, a ship graveyard, and what's more, what looked to be body after body floating in space. I turned to look at them. "We're not on Voss anymore boys and girls."

Even those Knight Whitelight told her to stay put. Does one thing that would stop Shiva from doing the other. For the time she did stay where she was until Maya didn't come back. As she took herself up from the floor making her way to the cockpit that seem that everyone else was enjoying themselves.

To come fact to face with something very wrong as she let out a squeak from her. "That was a dead person.", as looked at each one in the group not knowing what else they was going to run into. "We aren't on Midvir or what every planet we was to be going to.", as she once again looked out of the window still frozen in her place.

Connor craned his head down to peer out of the cockpit and saw the debris of ships now devoid of life, hanging in pieces amongst the stars before them. A figure brushed passed him, and it was none other than [member="Maya Whitelight"] – a blast from the past indeed, and one who had surprised him with her sudden…change of heart towards her place with the Order. Still, that was the past. The present was upon them.

”Maya.” That was all he could muster for now.

He was about to speak when another busybody pushed her way in, surprising him how eager the Jedi seemed to be in piling into a small cockpit such as this. He held his hands up to keep them out of the way and only knew the bright eyed girl as Shiva…or Shalla? He couldn’t remember her name, but she was obviously a wild one and not thinking logically.

Connor rolled his eyes softly and tapped Xander on the shoulder, leaning down and pointing to a large ship coming into view to their left.

”Master Carrick, I may be wrong but look, over there, isn’t that – or wasn’t that – one of those Star Destroyers from the old Imperial era…I mean, it looks like one...?”

The ship certainly looked like the iconic spearhead design of the old Empire, but even those style of ships were in service to the Galactic Republic. Either way, a ship of that size and build couldn’t be taken apart as easily as the others. The fact it looked to be cleanly split in two was a concern. The damage was too clean...too orchestrated.

It was probably his imagination getting the better of him anyway, but it just stuck out to him, and it gave him something to focus on other than the excitable noise in the cockpit beside him.

Looking at Shiva shaking her head a bit speaking softly to Shiva, "Padawn Shiva please go back to where I asked you to wait.", after which time she did find that there was getting to be to many in the small space. After which time she was going to turn a n take her own leave. Only to be wide eye to another ship that look like it had been there for a long time. Shaking her own head to the fact that this was more to met the eye. Looking at where some of the ships was place through out the before me. No it couldn't be could it. "I know I don't know much about this all or understand what we stumble up do you find this odd where all these ships are place like in some kind of invisible spider webs.", as she took the last seat. Only to find Shiva trying to put herself into one of the others laps. "There be no of that go to the back and strap yourself in.", she had this feeling when that happen something was about to happen.

Looking over to Connor for a long time before she whisper back to him, "Connor, good...", shaking her head once again as if she could feel something. Then it was gone.

"Now, young Padawn Shiva we will practice some more later on your healing skills if time with be with us.", only to start to feel something else was at place. It was something down in her stomach that started to twist and turn to cause her stomach to upset. Reaching out gentle to Xander other shoulder, "I have a bad feeling, love.", as once again could shake off the feeling she had as if could see something in front of them then it was gone. Something dark she knew about dealing with darkness. [member="Connor Harrison"] [member="Shiva Horizonis"][member="Xander Carrick"][member="Kenshi Mitsumoto"]

The Dantarian swordsman kept to himself for most of the trip to Midvinter, a planet that he'd done a little research on prior to the mission. Apparently it was an ice-world, home to a multitude of a race of human offshoots called the Valkyri. This was to be the third planet that Kenshi had ever been on and was quite excited to even think about meeting strange new people, experiencing things, and finding his way in the Force. Or at least he thought.

A newcomer entered the cockpit, immediately strolling to [member="Connor Harrison"] at his location in the co-pilot's seat before leaning over and planting a kiss upon his cheek. Kenshi frowned slightly, knowing all too well the customs of his people and their stance on public displays of affection. They were things that were meant to be kept elsewhere, though the more mild stuff he found acceptable. As the little crowd in the cockpit's cabin grew to four people, the swordsman kept his mouth shut. Kenshi was more so inclined to listen to these elder Jedi talk, learning from them and observing their mannerisms. A brief nod of his head was given in return to [member="Maya Whitelight"]'s wink.

"We most definitely aren't on Midvinter."

He repeated the words of Connor Harrison, inching forward in his chair as he mentioned something about an Imperial Star Destroyer. The Dantari people, or at least some tribes, were known to worship ancient Imperial relics. Kenshi had even heard of such cases that Dantari had tattoos of Stormtrooper helmets, AT-ATs, and Star Destroyers. The man had seen quite a few in his day, unfastening himself from the webbing.

"Knight Harrison, that is indeed an Imperial Star Destroyer." He confirmed as he moved to stand next to the Knight, leaning down slightly to get a better view. "Some of my people had tattoos of these things. They used to worship them."

Oh yes. Of course. An Imperial star destroyer. Before I could respond, I was being talked to by two different people at once. Ignoring them for now, Even Maya as I started scans on the ships and other such that were here. Testing for life signs, and K turned to me and silently shook her head. Telling me silently that she could not find any transmissions from droids or the like. I then looked back at the scan as the bleep came on. Showing me that there were no life signs so far from what I had seen. I shook my head. Looking bettween the battered ships and the deserted Space station. Large enough to dock a few of these ships here. and by a few I meant more than you could count on your hands and toes.

"Well the engines are down. State of the art ones at that. So something did something to the engines. We will have to look at them and see what is wrong." I then turned to K and nodded my head. Getting up, she weaved her way past people in the Cockpit and moved towards the Engine housing to check it out visually. Turning to Maya I motioned for her to sit in the Co-pilot seat. "Already from damage indicators I found that two parts are not usable. One happens to be a compassitor, the other an energy cell that has been depleted so far that I can't recharge it. We need to find those pieces to get back home. Let alone get to Midvinter. So it looks like we will have to suit up and move to the ships and the space station to get the materials that we need. Without the energy cell, the ship can't move. Right now it is running on fumes."

[member="Kenshi Mitsumoto"] was sure imposing as a mere Padawan, but Connor appreciated his input and his earnest deveotion to the here and now.

"Thank you Kenshi. That's very interesting. How long has this relic been here...and WHY is it here?"

As the proxy droid moved around, and [member="Maya Whitelight"] soon made her way to the co-pilot's chair, Connor was about to speak up but thought better of it. Did [member="Xander Carrick"] remember how conflicted Maya had become? Connor had once nearly given his all to her in her journey with the Silver Jedi and then...she vanished, turning into an emotional time bomb and one Connor felt could go off around them and endanger not just the mission, but their lives.

As [member="Shiva Horizonis"] busied herself gawping, Connor nodded to Xander's accurate readings and plan of action, even if it did sound a little crazy.

"Master Carrick, I'm happy to go out to one of the ships if you wish, and if Padawan Mitsumoto here wishes, I'd like him to come along as he seems to know his stuff about the ships and history."

His eyes flicked to Maya at the control panel, he felt obliged to keep an eye on her before she did something she, or they, may regret.

It was more of a feeling that she had then anything else that could feel that Connor didn't trust her like before. It was something she would have to live with the rest of her life. Finding herself sitting in the co-poilte sit. Before she could do something. Finding her own hand snaking out to Connors "I'll be okay I can hand this responsibility. Reaching over to Xander hand and putting her hand upon his arm in understanding. As they look on something just didn't feel right but what. Letting herself go into the force deeper then she had every gone before.
