It's All Relative (Alaina Moxla)

Location: The Planet of Belasco, waiting room of the office of Doctor Robert Zendu

Doctor Robert Zendu, M.D., licensed Psychiatrist, dressed in a pinstriped black suit and horn-rimmed glasses, sat at his desk going over the patient files for his next appointment.

Name: Alaina Moxla. Age: nineteen. Occupation: unknown. Species: human. According to his notes, Miss Moxla had complained about chronic family problems. Perhaps once she started down the road to treatment, Doctor Zendu would suggest bringing in a few siblings for some family therapy in conjunction with her solo therapy to help her with her issues. He didn't have the specifics, although it seemed there was some friction with a brother or two.

Doctor Zendu looked out the door of his office and saw a very striking young blonde sitting in the waiting room. He adjusted his tie and cleared his throat, her file in his hands. Holding out a hand for her to shake he greeted the young woman with a thin-lipped smile.

"Miss Alaina Moxla?"

Smoothing her skit that she had chosen to wear this day of black in color. As she stood up with her long legs. Smoothing out some more to work it back down. Coming to walk as her high heals shoes clicking on the stone polish floors. Finding herself shaking with the good doctor.

"Doctor Zendu, its a pleasure to met you"

The Doctor cleared his throat and pushed his glasses up on the bridge of his nose, smiling at the young woman, still clutching her file.

"The pleasure's mine Miss Moxla. Before you enter my office, I do need to ask you to remove any weapons from your person and put them in the locker over there." He pointed towards the locker and jingled the keys.

"It's for my own personal safety, of course. Alot of the patients I treat are, well, mentally unstable. Don't worry though, you'll get them back right after our hour is up."

now this raising an eyebrow a few times. Walking over as the first thing she did was the two what look to be normal looking sticks that use to hold up one hair was taking out. Shaking out her hair now following below her waist. One wouldn't think that one could hide a weapon up he tight skirt of hers. But she found a way for that to be as she pulled out three razor thin throwing knifes. Then came the kicker or was that her kicking off her high heal shoes.

"What you said no weapons these are after all very deadly with the poison that is hidden one step and twist and... well you get the picture, dear.", as she once then moved into his part of the office after seeing him lock up her weapons tight. "Its all in name of protection after all., a girls got to do what she got to do after all.."

Doctor Zendu blinked as his patient unloaded a ridiculous amount of weapons in his waiting room. "I deeply empathize the need for protection," he said, absently wondering how she'd hid so those throwing knives in so little clothing. Ah, one of life's greatest mysterious. With all her of her lethal accouterments stored away for safe-keeping, he motioned for her to follow him into her office.

His office was modernly decorated with white pod-like furniture and kidney-shaped tables, with a soft purple track lighting around the room. At the end of the room was a large desk, a few chairs and a Hover sofa.

Doctor Zendu stood by his desk, clutching her file, and gestured towards the seating options. "Most of my patients prefer to recline on the Hover sofa while I hold their therapy sessions." He said. "But you sit where ever you feel comfortable, Miss Moxla."

Walking in as she looked around at the fixings. This brought her to the couch. Titling her own head looking at the good doctor in a manner rolling her eyes at the couch again. After a few minutes she paused after which she find herself on the couch in a manner with her feet up after all she was bare footed. Kind of a funny once she thought about no more then anything else.

"Doc I don't suppose you got anything to drink in this place of yours, you know some wine, whiskey or a good ale.", after which she look over and up to him. As she slid her dress down that had rode up on her again.

Quickly turning his head so that he didn't stare up her skirt, Doctor Zendu watched the nimble young woman climb up on his Hover couch. She wasn't wearing any shoes, the poor thing. He made a mental note to make sure that her credit payments had gone through. Otherwise he was going to have to detail his sliding scale policy.

He pursed his lips at the woman's request for alcohol. He'd been asked for stranger substances. Crossing over to a cabinet near his desk, Doctor Zendu took out his keyring again and unlocked his liquor cabinet, retrieving a carafe of whiskey and a crystal glass.

"As you have no substance abuse listed in your file, I don't see why not. It's unorthodox, but I can give you something to calm your nerves if you need it." He poured her a glass, handing it to her with a tight-lipped smile.

If it helped her open up to him, he was glad to oblige. After all, he was only here to make sure she got the most of of her treatment.

With that, he took a seat in the chair opposite her. He tapped his pen on his notebook and grinned. "Now then let's get started, shall we? Tell me about your family."

Taking a small sip of the strong stuff. It wasn't like she hadn't drank anything this weak before. Feeling that it was a bit water down for her taste. "Well, doc whats there to tell, just a normal family. I grew up in the family business, lots of half siblings a lot I haven't even met before. Comes with the territory of being in the family I been born into.", shrugging a bit as she sip some more on the whiskey. Letting go of the sigh.

"Just like it is seeing all boyfriends end up missing or dead in some sewer.", as if rolled off as if it had been something she learn to deal with even at her very young age. Thinking back to the first happening when she let see if she had to think back that long. It had been one of the rival criminal family son, cut up to piece or so that what she been told by her one half brother.

Doctor Zendu tapped his pen on his notebook, eyeing his patient with the utmost concern. "If you're finding your boyfriends dead in the sewers, I wouldn't exactly call that a normal family Miss Moxla. In fact, that sounds like the epitome of a dysfunctional family. A family that exerted this kind of authoritarian control over you would be one you might want to set some pretty big boundaries with. And you're obviously in distress."

"But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's get to the bottom of this shall we? What is the nature of your family business?"

[member="Alaina Moxla"]

Taking a deep breath, "My family business,"giving a chuckle. "What aren't they into, you name it they have at less one hand in the pot.", thinking of all the things they had done with the Hutt cartel. Closing her eyes as she took another sip. "I do have an education out of it, at less more then I can say for most of my siblings. They educated themselves with the gun trigger to saw things.", going on about how the family dealings of more then once a shady deal to bring in more money to the criminal family.

"I see," he murmured. With a furrowed brow, the Doctor jotted down some more notes in his little black notebook. Then he lifted his head to appraise her once again and smirked.

"I am familiar with the kind of family business that you're talking about. I have strict confidentiality agreements to uphold but I can tell you that I have treated all manner of criminals here in my office from the Hutts to the Black Sun. In my experience, those types of familial relations are unhealthy at best. And at worst, could prove to be damaging to your mental health if not altogether lethal for you. My dear, I would hate to see a smart and lovely young lady such as yourself meet an untimely end at the hands of your siblings."

Dropping his notebook in his lap, the Doctor leaned in closer with inquiring brown eyes. "Have you ever considered leaving the family business to pursue a safer career?"
