It's cold here

Continuing from the dom-

Hoth echo base
Inside near prisoner cells

Two down plenty more falling

After breaking out from the cell and killing both guards saki was against all odds currently practically a entire army versus a apprentice force wielder who had barely started to show the fruits of her

But even so saki used a blaster and her sabers to block and shoot being pinned down behind a wall and definitely not in the best position, exhausted as she kept radiating her position hoping anyone anything would come and cause chaos as she pushed forward lighting a burst of lightning

She hope the force was smiling upon her this das

The ice world of Hoth loomed large in his viewport. Kriel piloted the craft not to any specific coordinates but to where the Force told him to go. He had not been long a Knight, yet he had felt his powers growing. Nowhere near a Master’s level but he was now — he felt — growing into the mantle of a Knight of Ren. His connection to the Force was growing stronger and he was able to use it for longer and with more power and control. And at times it spoke to him — like now — directing him not only to a planet but to a specific location.

He leaned forward in the pilot’s seat,"Down there," he said out loud but to himself, as he stared at the ice planet as he skimmed through the misty atmosphere.

He brought the ship in low now, under the afternoon sunlight where ice chips burned bright below the whitish sky. He darkened the viewport shields to cut down the glare. A blip on his radar told him where the Force was sending him.

"Echo Base?" he said. “I thought that had been abandoned for centuries — if not longer."

He looked across the frozen snowfields he approached a line of rocky hummocks and brought his ship down near hidden shield doors that sealed off Echo Base in the solid ice. He knew they were here because the Force told him so.

He moved to the hold, activating the body heaters in his suit of armour. He clipped his lightsaber to his belt as he exited the ship, into the blinding cold of Hoth. But inside his suite was fortunately impervious to the temperature.

His heavy boots crunched on the ice-crusted snow as he walked to the snow-camouflaged opening of Echo Base. The wind picked up, skirling around the rocks in whirlwinds that whipped ice crystals into the air and scoured the snowdrifts. The opening to the ice cave was flanked by rocks, though most of Echo Base had been chewed into the centuries-old packed snow and ice.

As he approached the shield doors, he became aware why the Force had called him here. He sensed a presence. A dark-sided aura, and focused on it. He’d travelled some distance to be here — it had better be worth it, he mused.

She felt it

A force signature outside somewhere....wherebos it was she couldn't tell and found it difficult to pin it exactly where it was....not a problem she'd push her way through these soldiers and find that signature....maybe she had a ride out of this place

Meanwhile...

Amongst the chaos even guards stood ready to defend...and with the attack it was doubled, so when [member="Kriel Firin"] approached they raised their weapons to him and the lead one called out" hey you stop where your a!

Meanwhile again in the base

Saki started walking towards and down the hall....apparently a torgruta wielding a black color Saber and blaster was enough for retreat....she guessed they were gonna try to find a better hold out place

She stepped and walked as she enhanced her force signature to maybe give her location off better....now she just ha-

She ducked quickly as a blaster bolt whizzed passed her head as she ducked behind a crate as she deactivated her saber as she poked out and gave fire back to them hitting one as she was getting quite annoyed....she grinned...

She stood as she called the force to her and then focused on her anger as she gave a chuvkled and crouched then bolted Saber quickly activating as the men shot as she moved flexibly and swiftly lead person going down in half as she started causing chaos in the small place

The Force presence was clear now and its location fixed in his mind. But it was clear he had other things to consider first. And it seemed as though there were plenty of them.

He drew his saber and it activated with a snap-hiss. The crimson blade reflected in the snow all around him. He barely acknowledged the guard that called out to him. Instead he merely swatted away the energy bolts that came his way. One or two returned where they came and the soldiers dropped where they stood. The remainder kept firing relentlessly as Kriel closed the gap without effort and apparently a lack of interest in the guards.

Once he was in range, his saber snaked out and one by one he cut them down, wordlessly. Finally, a pile of bodies were at his feet but his attention was already elsewhere. The aura was on the move — and heading towards him.

[member="Saki lin"]

It was closing

The gap between the other she could feel was closing as she stood amongst the pile of body's at her feet a few died from shock other far worse as a few around her were charred in places or had serious burns on them along with some being frozen in horror from the lightning they took

And still she could here troops coming and running around the corner as she started a brisk pace through the corridors that riddled the place passing a few that she quickly and with no words sliced in half knowing the entrance would be the worst part to get out of....they had a large amartment there

The gap was about half closed now

For a few moments Kriel was able to progress without hindrance. But it was never going to last. He turned a corner and faced a soldier who looked shocked to see an armour clad Knight of Ren. It took a split second for him to raise his blaster — which was a split second too slow.

Kriel raised his hand and the trooper froze in mid-motion. A second later the Knight of Ren ran him through with his saber and left him for dead as he continued his relentless search for the source of the dark-sided aura.

It was so close now he could almost taste the aura now. And he needed to know why the Force had drawn him here.

[member="Saki lin"]

So close she could feel the person almost

However she got to a four way and a blaster caught her hand as she growled and held her hand feeling the burning sensation she looked as from all sides she was surrounded no where to run...but a cornered cat always will fight back

And so as she was surrounded men with electrostaffs closed in where she stood and waited till the first one gave a jab till she ducked and and used her God hand to grab the staff and twisted it away as she knocked the men away and looked around....she needed a miracle now for sure

[member="Kriel Firin"]

He was close now, the aura was close and he felt ripples in the Force — whoever he was destined to meet was clearly able to use the dark-side.

And then his regular senses kicked in to tell him just how close he was to finding an answer. The sound of blasters and the hum of electrostaffs meant he was almost there.

He turned a corner and saw her, and her assailants. She was holding her own but numbers will often negate skill and this was the likely outcome here. He was no Sith, who would no doubt choose to let her survive or die, ensuring only the worthy lived. He could not fight every battle for her, but letting her sink or swim was not an option at this stage.

So he raised a hand and two electrostaffs flew into his hand. Behind his mask he smiled as two of the soldiers now faced him. It would even the odds for the young woman. “Time to learn the power of the dark-side,” he said as he dropped the sabers and red lighting sprang from his fingertips and arced towards the two men.

[member="Saki lin"]

They were just closing in when she felt that presence get closers and soon and turned to see two of the men with electrostaffs turn and wide eyed the man before screaming in pain before falling asleep she quickly grabbed her saber and started retreating backwards as the men stared in fear as she got within speaking distance of him" sure know how to make a women wait huh" she said as she held her saber with one hand the other focusing on healing it.

[member="Kriel Firin"]

Behind the mask, Kriel surpassed a smile but smirked regardless. She had character and was brave — two traits that would make her an excellent Knight of Ren.

“The Force works in mysterious ways,” he replied as he dispatched another of the guards. “And who precisely were you waiting for? I mean, this isn’t exactly a main thoroughfare, is it?”

He was keen to see how she’d react.

[member="Saki lin"]

Oh you know"she said and twisted her body as she moved behind him as she swung a kick and took a guy down with a sickening snap as she connected to his neck then gave a chuckle "the only strong force signature in this entire base and only one holding a Saber besides me" she said and smirked as she blocked again and rushed the way he came to dispatch two soldiers with ease and ferocity " it's cold here think you should lead the way....I'll assume you have a ship" she said as one guy groaned as she slammed her foot to his neck and looked back

[member="Kriel Firin"]

She definitely had an attitude and that wasn't always a bad thing. Sometimes Force Users took exception to apprentices that overstepped the mark. Kriel was not one of those, but nor would he molly-coddle her.

"I'll lead the way, make sure you keep up. And in case you're wondering, the cold isn't an issue. Nor are the guards. It's me you have most to worry about."

He let the suggestion sink in for a few moments. "So, do you have a Master? Are you connected to a specific Order or government?"

[member="Saki lin"]

She nodded" alright I'm good with that and I understand I'll make sure to keep a minimal distance away so I'm not harmed but the same to you for I am quite the wild one

She said as she followed him looking around as she made sure no guards followed nor came to them"I am connected to no one....I am alone for the moment I have learned many thing and found stuff to teach myself this lightsaber was one I managed to create from stuff I've learned

[member="Kriel Firin"]

Kriel listened and was pleasantly surprised to find no-one blocking their way from the base. But there was a lot of distance to travel to his ship.

"So, I sense the dark side in you. So I presume you're no wannabe Jedi. But of the dark side orders, there are plenty. Tell me what you wish. Fame? Power? Glory? Wealth? Or something else. What motivates you and what will drive you to become the best you can be?"

[member="Saki lin"]

I am of the dark side the light is a lie to me, I wish for power and wealth I try to get whatever I want to have I am a little greedy and I want it and I shall get it

She said as she looked around and saw a guard running away from them coming out of a room"there sir!

[member="Kriel Firin"]

“Power and wealth? The Sith can give you these things. Or any number of Dark Jedi. Why would you join the Knights of Ren? And tell me of your background. And let me know why you are so greedy. I serve the Knights and the First Order. I aspire to many things, but I am not greedy.”

He left the question hanging as he pulled the guard towards him with the Force and impaled him on his saber before the man could draw his saber.

He discarded him as if he was of no consequence and looked towards the girl again. “Convince me why I should allow you to leave the planet with me.”

[member="Saki lin"]

She stopped when he did and looked to him" I may of worded it right...I want power and wealth but not how the sith show it....I want the power of knowledge and the wealth with it..."she said as she sighed

I wanna learn not be a warmonger....knowledge...iver brute force

[member="Kriel Firin"]

The grin remained on Kriel’s face — albeit she wouldn’t be able to see it behind his mask. He was testing her. Not out of spite or to be awkward but because if she wanted to be a Knight of Ren, she needed to work at it and if he were to teach her, he had to be sure she would last the course.

“We serve the First Order. We do their bidding and put aside our own aspirations. Yes we gain power and knowledge but we never forget who we serve. I can train you — as a Master or just specific abilities. But only if you’re dedicated to the cause. If you’ll put the Order first and your personal wishes second. You will, in time, gain whatever you desire, but only by being part of the Knights of Ren, not an individual. Am I making sense?”

[member="Saki lin"]

She looked over to him as they came to a sealed door and pressed her sabers on in as she started to cut a hole through the door

Yes you are sir I must put my feelings aside my personal goals must be a second priority but the first order shall come first and foremost as the high priority....it's about being United rather then in pieces

She said as she looked over to him
[member="Kriel Firin"]

Kriel nodded as she spoke. “We are not weak for being unified. Rather, it makes us stronger. Individuals come and go. Those that seek personal power and glory tend to kill each other or at least climb over each other to get to the top of the heap.”

He helped her to cut through the door.

“But don’t forget that we still strive to be the best. To harness the power of the Dark side and crush those that stand in the way of the Knights and the First Order. And I can help with your training if you wish. Is there anything in particular I can assist you with? A specific power or ability? Arcane knowledge?”
