It's only a Bird (Morrigan)

The courtyard of the former temple was empty as usual, except for Minna sat in the middle. She enjoyed sitting alone here, remembering the days when students would practice and learn here, including herself when she was a padawan. Soon those days would return elsewhere, but for now only the memories remained.

Despite the silence and emptiness of the courtyard, the Yodaling couldn't help but feel she was being watch. Her eyes flickered about, scanning the area. She didn't expect to see anything, but it was merely for her own comfort. However, when she did see something, it didn't bother her at all. A simple bird perched not far from her. Minna smiled at it, but didn't expect much else to happen.

Aurum looked at the short, long-eared green woman, decided she was probably a Force User of some kind, and decided to talk to her.

Hi there! Are you Master [member="Minna"]? Morrigan's looking for you.

I flew over to where I could see the Grey Knight, and Aurum probably talking to her.

"Are you Minna? I am honored, Master Knight."

Minna flinched slightly as the bird's voice entered her mind suddenly, but recovered from the shock quickly. Her eyes looked to the woman who had just landed next to her. "Well..." She started, taking it all in for a moment. "Minna, I am. But who are you, hmm?" The Yodaling stood up, despite it not making much difference to her height, and looked between the bird and the woman, still thinking through this odd situation.

She had to give her one thing, she was surely upfront. It had been a some time since any students were in these walls, but it was time to change that. "Teach you, I shall. Unfair not to, it would be." Minna turned, making her way towards the main building suddenly. "Follow me. Inside, the forge you will need is." Whether or not the bird woman followed straight away, the Yodaling entered the former temple through it's main entrance and followed a corridor on the left.

When Minna reached a small room that looked to be used for storage, she signaled for Morrigan to wait, while she rummaged around for a few minutes. Eventually she came back out holding two small daggers, with nothing special about them. Continuing through the temple, they finally reached a locked door that seemed to be out of the way of any other rooms. "Beyond this door, the forge is. A heavy dark aura, it has. Ready are you, to enter it?" She looked up at the woman, awaiting her reply before doing anything.

I tensed my mind, and my body as I entered the Dark Nexus of the forge. It actually didn't feel that bad... It felt like a hot shower. I relaxed and let the Force wash over me.

"This is actually rather comfortable for me, Master Knight. Is that bad?"

Minna led the bird-woman down the winding stairs that led to the forge itself. "Hmm, bad, it is not necessarily. But careful you must be, when this close to the dark side." She nodded, before stopping infront of the forge. It was a rather simple one, consisting of a hole in the ground that contained swirling water, rapidly spinning around and never stopping. The closer they got, the more intense the dark side aura became, yet Minna barely hesitated to stand right next to it's waters. Getting out the two daggers she retrieved before, she held one out for [member="Morrigan"] to take. "First, practice on a dagger, you shall. But first, warn you, I must. This process will involve surrendering your emotions to the forge, yet keeping them at bay at the same time. Let it feel your emotions, but not take them."

She looked up at the bird-woman. "Ready to learn, are you?"

"Always, Master Knight."

I took the proffered dagger, and released my control to the Force. It flowed through me, like the water below us. It felt good.

"Alright, now I'm ready."

Without further ado, Minna dipped her dagger into the swirling waters of the forge. Closing her eyes, she let her emotions flow into the dagger itself, forcing it to break apart and remold itself to her will. The dark side flew through her, yet she controlled it's influence of her. After a few moments, she lifted the dagger from the waters and held it to the light. What was a plain and simple dagger, was now a razor sharp, slightly curved blade of the same size. Small, black lines appeared to have etched themselves into the blade, pulsing with dark side energy of it's own. "Stronger, darker, the blade is now. Force it to mold to your chosen image, you must." The Yodaling put her dagger away in her robes, then looked up at [member="Morrigan"]. "Your turn, it is."
