Its Time.

Ten years ago a certain rogue jedi found herself pitted against a specific darkside behemoth. The battle costed the girl part of her arm and later more than she knew. That was the past... what of now in the present. Well what of it? It depends on perspective really, but their is one thing for certain. The Darkside.

Standing on a very large landing platform on Nar Shaddaa the Darkside behemoth himself sat waiting, he was meditating calling his apprentice. << " Its Time...." >> his voice would reach [member="Keira Ticon"] through the force. << " No questions... just come." >> he added. As the Traffic of the city sounded loudly Kezeroth growled, he hated the upper city but it was one of the only placed with a large enough space to properly do what he was planning. The Gen'dais thoughts dwelled on his apprentices development, their time spent together was few but they both learned from it greatly. Over all he taught her how to adapt quickly and how to develop a style of her own. That was his training and from previous practices he believed it to work but this was the final test of it all.

Standing up the Gen'dai shrugged to adjust his Armor and his power hammer Bone crusher on his back. His eyes, thoughts and even posture reflected his harsh intent. Compared to the sparring sessions they had in the past... This fight would determine whether or not she had fully learned from the teachings but if he was strong enough to face him in full force. If Keria could hold her own, she could very well defeat any she wished.

It wasn't entirely unusual for meetings, or rather sparring matches, with [member="Kezeroth the Malevolent"] to begin with nothing more than a simple mental prodding. Afterwards it was left to her to determine just where he was, which was never a difficult task given that his presence tended to stand out no matter the company. Guessing at his intent was only a minute thing, if that, with the preferred method of learning being through live combat itself. In his own words it was the purest form of knowing another being, something she had begun to appreciate over the years. Through fighting him taking on any other challenge seemed almost minuscule in comparison, no other opponent she faced quite matching up to his sheer size and strength. Adaptability was prized between the two of them, and it was something that was required for survival when it came to his training methods.

Upon their first fight she had lost her left arm, and in the matches that followed had learned what it meant to take a hit and break bone, but still manage to get up despite any current injuries and press on. The philosophy of pain being power may not have been entirely true in all aspects, but it certainly wasn't a detrimental thing when Keira found herself backed into a corner. If anything she had learned to give no quarter and always exploit her advantages, making her own if none were available. Never had she emerged victorious, but that was never the priority. This way of life afforded her a hard-won sort of strength, his respect having been just as difficult to gain in the beginning. Now it was merely routine, and she had grown to expect these outings every once in awhile. When they didn't come was when she had cause to worry.

When it came right down to it there wasn't any other choice but to heed his call, and so she began maneuvering her way through the streets of Nar Shaddaa, following that ethereal trail of darkness that wound its way back to the behemoth of a man it belonged to. Never did she become overly worried before any fight, instead opening herself up to all of the possibilities of what was to come, recognizing that gaining every little foothold and advantage would be a momentous chore but welcoming the challenge with open arms. Life had never been easy, and this was just another addition to its trials. But she was stubborn and long in leaving, something he had learned early on and been required to deal with. At first she had been nothing more than a nuisance to him, or so it seemed, but now a mutual respect had been garnered.

As she neared his location her lightsaber seemed to materialize in her palm, the weapon remaining unignited. Making her way to the rooftops above the landing platform she watched him for a moment. He didn't seem aware of her arrival, but past experience told her that meant little in the grand scheme of things. Still, she had at least some element of surprise when it came to attacking early. Typically the two conversed briefly before any real fighting began, but this time she was determined to use the element of surprise entirely in her favor. Pushing herself into a standing position she flicked her hilt around her fingers momentarily, pondering her options. Jumping off the edge of the roof and using the Force to augment the distance she was able to cover, the blade springing into existence at the last moment as it flashed out towards his face.

He did not meditate for nothing he wanted to be on his best game this time and although his body was as still as a statue his eyes and thoughts were racing on the present moment. A preparation for incoming actions he would have to take later on. He looked paranoid but dont mistake his appearance as such when in fact Kezeroth was very aware of his environment. As the air speeders wizzed by the Gen'dai only got more annoyed more tense, The sounds they made was compatible to a bee by the ear for him. *SNAP-HISS* A very familiar sound came to ear quick as well as specific lightsaber that was little too close for his liking. Turning his head in the direction of the strike he grunted as the super heated blade lightly made contact with his face. " Gah!" raising one hand to his face Kezeroth stumbled back in a feint of sorts. His wound would heal in seconds but the face was a sensitive place for healing always was.

As he stumbled back some his off hand reached for his Power Hammer Bone Crusher. Weilding it in one hand he dragged it along ready to counter she decided to follow up after her inital "dirty" strike.
