Appearance: Ivan stands at about 5’10” [~178 cm] with short brown hair, blue eyes and a square jaw. He has resting jerk face, often appearing angrier and more irritated than he usually is. He typically wears a flight suit, but can be seen in more casual clothing like tank tops and hoodies.
Personality: Ivan is neither friendly nor unfriendly, but can become annoyed easily. While being trained to fly, he’s learned to quickly block out distractions and so that he is able to focus intensely on the job at hand. Despite his acerbic mannerisms when dealing with his employer, Ivan prides himself on a job well done.
For some reason, Joza has taken to teasing the poor man relentlessly, especially during longer journeys. Because of this, Ivan is quick to rebuff her, often shooing the woman away with harsh and biting words when she becomes too irritating. He is not attracted to Joza and finds her annoying and childish. However, he does have a level of respect for the Zeltron when she takes things seriously and acts like an adult.
Weapon of Choice: Blaster pistol (x1), Blaster rifle (x1)
Wealth: Average for someone of his skill level and employment, makes enough to drown his woe in ale every weekend.
Combat Function: Typically the transport/getaway guy, but he’s a decent shot with a pistol. Ivan also knows some basic martial arts, though it’s more to defend himself in hand to hand combat.

Ivan was born to a small-time smuggler father and a mechanic/pilot mother, both proud Corellians and both not expecting a child. He spent most of his childhood aboard his family’s ship, as his father’s work demanded that they travel the galaxy frequently. Despite the line of work his parents chose, they formed a small, loving family. Ivan’s mother tried to shield her son from her husband’s less than legal activities, instead focusing on passing her piloting and mechanic skills on to her only child. Unfortunately, as her son grew, so did his interest in helping his father with the “family business.” Ivan was 14 when he started helping his father smuggle various drugs, illegal firearms and knockoff items.
When he was 22, Ivan’s mother was captured and executed by a group of pirates they were working with over a deal gone wrong. This sparked a realization in Ivan that perhaps this was not what he wanted to do with his life. He still continued smuggling, but his mind began to turn to different options.
Several years later, Ivan and his father took a job to transport a group of captive Twi’lek to a crime lord on Nal Hutta. Ivan didn’t want to take the job, finding it too high risk and amoral. He argued with his father, but the old man eventually won out, citing that work was work and this job payed big. Unfortunately, their ship was intercepted by a lone Silver Sanctum patrol ship manned by Joza Perl. Ivan and his father were arrested, but Joza sensed the indecision coming from the young man and offered to give him a lighter sentence if he worked for the Sanctum. When Ivan brought up that she was operating as a Sanctum official outside of Sanctum territory, Joza insisted on a trade: Ivan works for her as a paid personal pilot, and he keeps his mouth shut.
The two have been terrible to each other ever since.
Intent: To establish a pilot NPC for Joza Perl so that she can travel around freely without getting herself sucked into a black hole or something.
