- EMP resistant: Being used for transport the IX-C has EMP resistant insulation to keep it's systems and possible cargo safe.
- No mines: Being able to raise the cabin AT mines are not much of a thread to the IX-C with the most damage being damaged limbs which can be replaced easily.
- No weapons: The IX-C is not for front line combat and has no weapon platforms and cannot be used in an offensive role.
- Exposed Pilot: Due to the pilot needing goo vision to operate the front clamps there is not a whole lot of protection for the main diver.
Aiming to appeal to all aspects of the ground combat field, and with the delayed release of anymore combat vehicles due to more space craft oriented products Harley commissioned the construction of a support vehicles to go along with the current IX series. The resulting craft being a half transport half construction craft able to keep up with middle warfare, help construct FOBs, carry equipment and personal.
Operating Use
The IX-C is mainly used for construction of military bases, quick transport of equipment and if need be a last ditch APC for troops if all else fails. For a ground based armies this craft should mainly be used for equipment transports and construction of military engineering groups/crops.
Defense Spec
The IX-C does not have much in term of defense only having basic armor and ion protection to keep the crew safe from attacks and EMP. This is mainly due to the fact this vehicle is not mean for combat, but for support and quick transport to keep up with regular ATV and able to help with construction due to its claw like hands at the front.
