(Backstory is a WIP!) Jace Corren is a man you'll never forget, for better or worse. Born into a family of industrialists and technocrats, capitalism is a concept that flows through Jace's veins. He spent much of his youth and early adulthood studying at Hosnian Prime's premier universities, until he suddenly dropped out of his program and cut ties with his friends and family. He wouldn't be heard from again for nearly two years, when he returned to the public eye as the CEO and founder of Hyperion Futuristics (WIP), a new research and development corporation entering the scene in search of contracts with organizations ranging from private military companies to the GADF. Nearly ten years on, Jace's contributions to the technocratic community and his philanthropic ventures has landed his name on the ballot for Senator of Hosnian Prime - a position he won in a landslide vote.WIP -
Personality
Jace is the kind of man who gets things done. Whether it's designing cutting edge technology for the Defense Force, chartering expeditions to undiscovered worlds, or pushing a change in galactic policy, there's quite little that Jace hasn't - or wouldn't - get his hands in. His ambition and adaptability as a senator and CEO make him a keen player in both the political and corporate arenas, instilling in him a unique set of skills and strengths that few others can match easily. Jace's success in running his company is the result of strong business strategy and experience, two factors that lend well to his tenure as the Senator of Hosnian Prime.
Despite his acumen, experience, and success, Jace is not without flaws; He is regarded by many in both the corporate and political world as impatient, prideful, and self-centered. Jace has the tendency to establish himself as the smartest man in the room, and makes plays to outsmart, outgun, or outmatch his competition when the opportunity arises. He enjoys his political and corporate adversaries, so long as he knows he has the upper hand when he goes toe-to-toe with an opponent.
