APPEARANCE:
Jacen is a big guy. He has a swimmers shape, with broad shoulders that taper through the chest and abdomen and flare back out at his hips and into his thickly muscled thighs. His body is suffused with scars, some from battle and some from tribal rituals. His hair at the moment is at medium length, pulled back out of his face. He keeps a fairly well trimmed beard. His typical outfit outside of battle consists of nerf calf brown leather pants tucked into calf high sturdy black leather boots. On his upper body he wears a sleeveless shirt of woven earth tone fabric that tucks into his pants, and a pair of brown leather bracers.
BIOGRAPHY:
Jacen was born into the House Rahl on the planet Anderahl in Ka'a system. While not in the top 5% of richest families to grow up in, his family is nonetheless very well off. As a Rahl of Anderahl, Jacen was raised in two cultures. The first and primary culture is the warrior tribal culture of Anderahl's two cities, Vaersin and Kaenre. The second culture was that of the galactic population of state heads and system rulers. The two cultures weren't nearly as different as one would believe. The training and rituals of the tribal culture were brutal and left scars across his body and trained his mind into that of a predator. The culture of the galaxies ruler class took the predatory nature of his tribal training and honed it so he could hunt in the halls of parliaments as well as among trees and stars. At the age of twenty-eight, Jacen's parents were visiting the Imperial Remnant, whose control essentially ended at Ka'a systems borders, when they were struck at and killed by a still unknown assailant. Small but mighty, the Realm of Ka'a was ready to go to war. Still reeling from other, unrelated setbacks, the Imperial Remnant instead offered to pay death benefits to Anderahl. The agreement was struck, and for five years the Imperial Remnant paid the House of Rahl blood money. After the five years, the agreement was satisfied, though Jacen still holds anger in his heart at the Imperial Remnant, though a hunt will have to wait for the time being.
